I find this absolutely fascinating. I feel that the most significant discoveries are right under our nose and simpler than we might imagine.

And if they gather the coffee grounds from shops and add vegetable scraps and leaves they can replenish the nourishment. The leaves of the trees are what is missing in all the soils because of tree stripping, but during the fall, the leaves are perfect for fertilizing purposes. Works even in clay soils or sandy soils. The switch grass keeps the soils firm to hold water and produce the proper shading and coolness for bacteria that spur growth.

Just don't use citrus peels, unless it's an orange, grapefruit or citrus grove where they use their own special bacteria to thrive. The differences are important as the citrus produce a bacteria, not good for veggies and fruits, berries. Keep it simple and use what God gave after cropping instead of carting it away to a dump.
