Awaking 'Consciousness'.
There is a problem with waking Consciousness...we have been here before!
Everything goes in cycles, all we have to do is recognise it. The very act of waking to self awareness, is the very cause of going back to sleep.
Why? Because it is interesting!
Self aware Consciousness here, means an Awareness that self arises to its own nature, a spontaneous Knowing! This is happening all the time, but we get too interested in this feeling of spontaneous Knowing, and that creates a duality.
Me and the Awareness!
When this self arising awareness arises, just let it be. If we try to modify it or exaggerate it, it will become too interesting and therefore immediately be a distraction from non duality, our natural state. That very holding onto this identification is the birth of ego, duality.

All I can say with any truth is "I am"
That truth is undefinable and undeniable.
It is a thoughtless awareness
I dont know that God exists as such. ----I do.
There is an knowledge that things only exist because I become aware of them.
When I am not aware of them I have no way of having an experience of them.
Therefore I can say awareness is the essential Truth.
That which I am exists totally independent of any subject object relationship (duality)
It (I) therefore does not need anything that I become aware of, to confirm I exist, including thoughts, experiences, the body
Awareness of being aware is my true identity and I dont even need to be aware of being aware--- Aware is complete as One without a second.

This is an 'interesting' video, it talks about Archons (Demonic entities) in the Tibetan culture they are called Mara.
WBo24sIPCOM
What they actually look like, I have no idea, but when we give in to selfish activities there is a force that feeds off this selfishness. It happens because we consent to it, when we believe in a mental self image. When we simple rest in pure awareness or emptiness, which is our natural essence, nothing can touch us...we cannot be disturbed! But when we get distracted from this natural state, our ego is open to manipulations.
That's why we drop it, drop it drop it! In doing so, we do not comply or consent.
Be aware of what is going on.

SPACE INVADERS is an apt expression, for conceptual obscuration in the mind.

Pretty much every human walking this planet is Archonic in nature. We don't like to look at that though.

Interesting video and concepts. Gnostic texts hidden from people: religion that didn't want people to have tools or freedom from their agenda (or alien agenda?). If aliens are more advanced than we are, why not be out in the open, what was really preventing them? Just questions, the more I know then more questions. They have taken over humanity, and we are waking up to it. Where do we go from here, really? What other tools besides emptying our minds is there as well? Were humans more powerful thousands of years ago than today? Perhaps all the activity is happening, because something in time is limited, something is happening, like when you wake up in the middle of the night feeling restless, and you don't know why.

Hello Jules,
I suppose it's how one looks at it. I do not see demons as aliens, they are just part of our dark side. These demons only exist in a relative sense, as long as we believe all this to be real, then our inner demons (our desires and aversions) will attract outer demons! It's a bit like finding fault with someone, there is always someone else willing to join in, and exaggerate the situation. That fault finding has no reality, except in our limited judgement.
If we cut the judgement, there is nothing to join in!
Life is full of challenges, endless challenges which are neither good or bad, they are just opportunities to remain stable and at peace, bring a situation back to balance.
This is path of a warrior. Ordinary people blame others for their situation, and stoke the fire of frustration, which is addictive!
One will see this clearly through sitting in silent meditation.
Once one has an understanding of the power we have of none involvement, none clinging, not exaggerating, we cannot be touched. This doesn't mean we do nothing, compassion naturally moves us!
We are the same beings as years ago, but with more distracting toys to play with. If we can keep our lives simple and not be in debt, we will have more time to study and meditated. The mind will always be filled with thoughts, we just train in not following them, then they will subside. The Emptiness is our Essence - that which is aware of all those thoughts! When this is realised, one can meditate all the time...anywhere! Meditation is just being open, aware...spacious. Not cling to this or that.
All the best,
Tony

We know the Buddha knew about demons as they tempted him many times. There are teachings on demons but not many. Maybe it is like the film 'Karate Kid' where the master got the student to “Wax on, wax off” “Paint the fence” “Sand the floor”, the student practiced what was needed without knowing karate.
So the Buddha taught 'peace of mind', which naturally defends the student against demons, without knowing it was a defence.

This may be a little off the subject. I tried to start a new thread, but was unable, so I will post here. Tomorrow, the 21st, is International Peace Day, here is the website for the times to coordinate a meditation/prayer. http://www.bethepeace.com/

Meditation in the beginning is training the mind, like telling a puppy to stay put!
It tends to wander off into thoughts and fantasies about the past and future. So to bring it back to 'now' we need to focus on something, and generally is the breath.
The puppy mind will keep wanting to run off and do something interesting, just bring it back onto the to the resting the attention on the breath.
Gradually puppy mind will relax and stay put. This is the beginning to experiencing 'Emptiness'.....just space for the puppy to 'be'!
Don't forget, remember!
