Israeli Rabbis Greet Iran’s President Ahmadinejahd in NYC on Yom Kippur

In a video you won’t see on CNN or ABC, Israeli Sephardic Rabbis Greeted Ahmadinejahd in New York City on Yom Kippur.

Iran’s President was visibly moved by the emotional prayers for peace and friendship spoken by the Israeli Rabbis. The Sephardic Rabbis praised Iran’s leaders for 1,000 years of peaceful relations with 50,000 Jewish families in Tehran.

That video clip is from 09.24.2007 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-r04SQ97_Q). I can't imagine Ahmadinejad visiting NYC in the current climate. It's a bit tragic that Veterans Today would get it so wrong. For the record, the rabbis in the video are from the Haredi (not Sephardic) group, Neturei Karta (http://www.nkusa.org/).

I saw this video on another forum and I will post here, what I did there. These are Hasidic Jews who are a very small minority of an ultra-orthodox sect. They, in no way, represent the majority of Israeli people nor do they represent the "jews". In fact, anyone who is not an Hasidim, is not considered to be Jewish by these people. They are the most bigoted individuals who would not give any of us the time of day. We have small pockets of these Hasidim in the U.S. who live only amongst themselves and have almost no contact with anyone outside of their sect.

The point here is, don't make the mistake in believing that Hasidic jews represent the beliefs of the vast majority of Jews. Nothing could be further from the truth.
