A few months ago I had a long and intricate dream which culminated in a clear and somewhat personal message. One of the things that puzzled me during the dream was when I looked in a mirror and noticed that exactly half of my face was sunburned. Unfortunately my notes are contradictory on which side was burned (I was confused between the orientations of looking out of my own eyes versus looking directly at myself from outside).

I just watched Close Encounters of the Third Kind (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075860/) and was struck with recognition when the main character suffered an exact burn on the left side of his face. This came after his initial encounter with a UFO.

I do not think that I am an abductee or anything but I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this particular symbol. I have thought long and hard about what it could mean and came up with nothing except my intermittent fascination with the right brain/left brain dichotomy.

I had similar dream, when I looked in a mirror my forehead seemed burned and with a kind of un-healing wound in the middle of it. I was so shocked, felt terrible and ashamed at the same time. I hardly recognised myself, as the reflected image was much close to a reptilian (I have no other comparison) than to a human. Imagine, when I woke up I was so relieved.

I have no idea what does it mean. However I started wondering what red mark on indian forehead really means, ...
