Soooooo, maybe this has already been talked about, but I've been listening a lot to our local talk radio and this was one of the subjects they covered today. They were very 'excited' while they mentioned what was going on. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and think 'crap, here we go..'

So Google is getting in to the VOIP game. I fear that this will be just another tool to monitor your conversations and perhaps even record. Anyone feel the same way, or am I just in this lone dingy here by myself? Some of the things Alex Jones mentioned when his 'Obama Deception' was removed, then put back up with some changes that he didn't declare kinda came up in my head when I heard about this.

I was under the impression the Google was being used by the CIA for monitoring purposes...

When Obama came into office legislators where debating over the bill which gave the government the right to demand records and cooperation from cell phone companies and internet companies. The Bill was due for a revision and some legislators wanted the bill not to be approved because it violated the citizen rights to privacy, under the silly patriot act, the bill was justified. All providers of internet services and other forms of communication where force to cooperate . Obama of course signed the bill and yes the US has the lawful right to eavesdrop on all internet activities and cel phone activities, etc.
