Glad you brought this up, the ocean floor is sinking, the weight of water from the artic ice melt in greenland it is causing the ocean floor to sink down and moving plates and making the sinkhole problem much worse. Those poor people still can't go home and the authorities have no answers for them.

what about the growing of the earth ghosty? do you think that the theory of the earth growing is also causing the plate movement.. i really like that theory because everything seems to grow from nothing if you just look.. the earths food might just be the solar maxim..

Yup, correct. But nothing about the weight of water "causing the ocean floor to sink down..."

From the Wikipedia article: At the end of each glacial period when the glaciers retreated, the removal of the weight from the depressed land led to slow (and still ongoing) uplift or rebound of the land and the return flow of mantle material back under the deglaciated area.

From same Wikipedia article: In Great Britain, glaciation affected Scotland but not southern England, and the post-glacial rebound of northern Great Britain (up to 10 cm per century) is causing a corresponding downward movement of the southern half of the island (up to 5 cm per century). This will eventually lead to an increased risk of floods in southern England and south-western Ireland.

Some land masses are sinking as others rise, but not due to the weight of water causing the ocean floor to "sink down".

Anyway, interesting video regarding the sink hole. Unfortunately the website didn't explain where exactly in Louisiana it was, what was causing the sink hole to grow or why it was dangerous. (Apologies if these are commonly-known facts to other forum members.)

could this have anything to do with the gulf oil spill and the changing pressures of oil and gas in the ground beneath?

Looks like that pit mentioned in Revelation that opened up in the new Babylon.

Hmm....wouldn't surprise me if a few demonic people were cast in it. The South/Religious/Corporate have lost their way and refuse to repent and take care of their people. Tornados don't stop them, Hurricanes don't stop them, flooded fields don't stop them, so after three strikes/warnings, it's only right God show them the error of their selfish hypocritical ways.

Get thee out the land people. The season of the "woes" are about to take place. At least move temporarily to higher ground if you don't agree with their hate of other Americans/WORLD.

The shifting will continue until Atlantis is raised. Many have said it will and I believe this is true. WE have to keep a closer eye on this. Such a massive increase could be shoreline degeneration from all the storms and saturation in the soil and sandy coast areas that have permeated further north. We must keep an eye on it for forewarning to those who don't know about it.

Voodoo pit?
Legends, go figure.

good point, earth is expanding, problem is too many empty caverns that once were filled with oil, and buildings built together with no concern for the soft spots in the ground , they just build cities where ever ...also the sun hitting us with gamma burst like crazy and our ozone has holes that are bigger than ever. The magnetic ribbon we are passing into and a new portion of the spiral arm of the milkyway, been 25,860 years since we been in this area. Too much coming together at one time. Maybe the myans were right.
