Hi All at Avalon,

I have come across a worry I have regarding the members on this forum.
The beautiful part of this meeting place is that everyone here is on a journey.
We are all traveling together.
Ultimately we are all in a different place on the journey.
It saddens me that some people are cursing themselves for being so stupid not to have seen what was happening.
Please could members reassure each other that this is normal, we have all been there.

We have all been stupid about some belief or other.

The overwhelming fact is that once that journey starts you will be on it until you find the Oneness you seek.

Patience is a virtue and no amount of rushing will bring this journey to a quicker end than is meant to be.

Love yourselves for giving it a go!:welcome:

It's relatively normal to use self-deprecating, judgmental words like "stupid" when one realizes there are things one was unaware of because they were kept in the dark for so long.

But "stupid" is the wrong word. "Ignorant" would be a much more proper term.

Ignorant = not knowing.

So let's be happy for all the things we didn't know in the past which we are now learning.

Blessings!

The journey down the rabbit hole is never an easy one. As I go deeper I periodically come to a complete stop, refusing to progress an inch further. Then, out of the blue, something will happen, such as the Jimmy Saville affair in the UK, that indicates there's a bit more truth a little deeper down and I'm on my way. Yes, I feel stupid for ever believing the official story of 9/11 but this was the pivitol event that got me to begin my journey so in an odd kind of way I'm grateful for the events of that day.

Now that I'm well on my way down the rabbit hole I guess at some point I'll have to come out the other end. Wonder what I'll find there.

I've never felt more stupid and gullible than when I learned there was no Santa Claus.

Peace Love Joy & Harmony,

You only get one life. You get the cards you were dealt because "God's ways are mysterious." Then, regardles of whether you got a good hand or a crappy hand, you get to find out if you're stuck in a place of torment, and the rest of your existence for eternity is determined by the few decades you spent here.

Those were some of my favorites.
