Hey mate,

Well, since the guy didnīt film its surroundings, to give us a better reference, I think this one looks very much like heīs filming a double fluorescent ceiling lamp reflected on a glass window in front of him.

You can clearly see that the object itself isnīt moving. The camera movements make the object appear to move very abruptly while the clouds stay stationary, which indicates that the object is very near the camera, not in the sky (parallax effect).

So, in my opinion, this object is definitively a reflection, not a UFO.

Interesting looking rods in the air. Hmm... was the person traveling by car and filming it?

The focus of the tubal structure looked as if they were polar opposites because each had a glaring light at either end, perpendicular like you lay batteries when creating electric current.

Hmmm...

If that's NOT a reflection in glass, most likely a car, then I'm the Pope.

Reported By The Lame Stream Corporate Media As Well

Longtime amateur astronomer Allen Epling witnessed the mysterious object, and captured it on video with his Meade 8″ SCT astronomical telsecope. He explains that the UFO hovered in the same location for more than two hours, "not drifting more than 10 degress in any direction." But Epling isn't the only individual who witnessed the UFO. According to Lex 18, local police received numerous calls about the strange aerial object.

Image in video was shot with about 150 power magnification. I couldn't risk losing it by taking time to set up a tripod or fixed mount for the camera, so I handheld the camera and struggled to keep the image steady and in the field of view. Couldn't take time to really get a good focus for fear of losing it. However the object's periodic brightening blurred the image anyway at full brightness.

In addition to his video, Epling was able to snap several photos of the UFO.

Journalist Kyle Lovern photographed a similar aerial object that same day approximately thirty miles away in Williamson, West Virginia. Several witnesses over a wide area have reportedly seen this UFO.

According to Lex 18, the Air Force and local airports were contacted about the object in Kentucky, but so far, nobody has been able to identify these sightings.

1. 2012-10-23 2012-10-22 12:00AM {nd} My mother walked outside and seen a white tube-like structure hovering over the house. Belfry, KY, US

Story Reported: Monday October 22, my mother walked outside around 9-10 pm to check for mail. She then turned back towards the house when she looked up and seen a white tube-like object hovering slightly above the house. The object was stationary; no lights, or sounds. My mother had thought it was my father doing some work on the roof, and so she did not mention anything. A similar sighting occured last thursday, October 18th. The object was seen by many across the county; the sightings were posted in the local newspaper the next day. However, my mother did not hear of this until she told me what she saw; then I told her.

2. 2012-10-16 2012-10-16 4:30PM (GS) Horizontal inkpen shape in sky hovering. Many jets kept flying by it. I saw 3 within 15-mins. My cousin and others watched it for hours and they saw more than 16 jets fly by it. Pikeville, KY, US

Story Reported: My cousin called my mom and told her that he and his employee had been watching a strange object in the sky for about an hour. The object was brought to their attention by the man next door. Whom, he had never spoken with. The man said he had been watching the object from his porch for about 30 minutes. When I spoke with my cousin he described the object to me and also said that airplanes kept flying by it. I then got in my car and drove to see it for myself. I arrived and could not see it with the naked eye but I could see it with binoculars. I witnessed about 3 airplanes fly past the object. It remained motionless and looked like a silver inkpen floating horizontally in the sky.It did not appear to have a flight path to me as I was there only briefly but my cousin stated that it had been closer and was moving from the right to the left (I am not sure what direction that would be but it could easily be figured out). There were 4 other witnesses there also. I had called my father who is an official in the state government and related what I had seen to him after I left the scene because I had to go pick up my child from a practice. My father later told me that as he was relating my story to one of his employees, the employee recieved a facebook message from his cousin in a town 30 miles away (South Williamson, KY) that had a picture of the object. I havent seen the picture myself. I videoed the object and witnesses but you cannot see anything as the object was so very far away. My cousin took pictures while it was closer before I arrived but you cannot see anything on those but we hope that maybe with the right equipment they can be blown-up and maybe be seen. After I picked up my child from her practice she wanted to go see it but after calling my cousin he stated that you could no longer see it as it had moved beyond the tree-line.It was obviously being watched by our government because of all the planes flying by it. My cousin states that they do not usually fly over the area and definitly not that many. I could not make out what kind of planes they were but we got video of some of them and you can see a lot of vapor trails from them. I dont know what it is. Maybe extraterrestrial, maybe a drone or satalite from a foriegn country that invaded our airspace. I dont have any idea but I believe that those airplanes were diffinitly interested in it.While I was there my cousin said they had seen 16 fly by it.

3. 2012-10-16 2012-10-16 2:25PM (GS) Cylindrical, bright object, brilliant in daylight, hovering high in clear sky Virgie, KY, US My neighbors small daughter noticed a very bright star that shown in the middle of the day, that didnt move, and brought it to my attention. The sky was clear, free of clouds, and blue. Visibility was unlimited. The temperature was in the upper 60s.

Story Reported: I had 4 visitors at the time and they all called to me to come out and look up at something strange. I got binoculars and was stunned to see a bright object that looked cylindrical, with two bright white fluorescent tubes on its sides, hanging very high in the sky. I have an 8" Meade SCT telescope and observed it at about 150 power and it was extremely clear, unmoving, or barely moving, hanging very high in the atmosphere. It was so high, it didnt appear to have shape except through binoculars. It moved ever so slightly that I used the telescopes controls to keep it centered, but it never moved more than 10 degrees from the original position in an hour and a half.

I used my Canon digital camera and took about 50 photos of the object through the telescope and then shot some video also. It oscillated between dim to very bright, (sunlike), on a frequency that varied but was of about 30 seconds.

If it was a balloon it would have drifted with the prevailing winds, if it was a satellite, it would have moved west to east in its orbit, and been out of sight in about 10 minutes, if it was a plane it could not stay up without moving that long. A helicopter would have run out of gas and could not have hovered that long.

None of those things fit this description. It appeared to be cylindrical in shape, semi transparent, and had two very bright lines of light, vertically on its outside edges. Being an amateur astronomer, I know my planets and heavenly bodies and it was none of those. After about 2 hours of observing it through my telescope I came in to post my photos on facebook and during that time my wife came in and said it had disappeared.

I am experienced with taking pictures through my telescope and I know about reflections, planets looking like ufos and such. This wasnt even close to any of those events, and I have 5 other witnesses to prove it. They all saw it through my telescope and observed it for over an hour..

Man captures pictures of reported UFO

http://ad.doubleclick.net/ad/wn.nat.wkyt.op/;lid=wkyt160a;sz=1x1;ord=1180051? VIRGIE, Ky. (WYMT) - An object spotted in the sky by several people across Pike County last week has still not been identified. One local astronomer captured pictures and video of it through his telescope.

No one seems to know.

"It wasn't anything I recognized. Definitely not an airplane, and I've never seen a helicopter that looked like that," said Allen Epling.

Sightings of the object have been reported in Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee, but it has yet to be identified.

Epling says even with his background in astronomy, it is unlike anything he has ever seen.

"Looked like two fluorescent bulbs, side by side, parallel, shining very brightly. It would get so bright they would seem to merge, and you could see it very clearly with the naked eye. Then it would dim down almost invisible," he said.

Even stranger, the object barely moved. It hovered in the same area for more than two hours.

"I don't understand how it could stay up there in one place. There was no sign of propellers or any kind of proportion system. No gas is coming out," said Epling.

Police in the area say they received a handful of calls about the object, but they were unable to locate it.

Airport officials say they do not have any records of aircraft flying through the area at that time.

Epling says his best guess is that it is some sort of balloon, but his research has not turned up anything similar.

And he says it had to be hovering at an altitude of at least 100,000 feet.

"Contradictory, if it's a balloon, how could it maintain its structure at that altitude?" he said.

So for now it remains unidentified, better known as a UFO.

Epling put his video of the object on YouTube. It has had more than 30,000 views.

What comes to mind is this image captured from Lasco 2 that I posted earlier today. I've been watching the solar activity for several months now, maybe a year or so, anyway I have never seen anything like this.

Hey folks,

So, if itīs on TV, it must be true then, right? ;)

Iīm just using logic here. When the camera shakes, the object shakes (or appear to move), but the background clouds stay stationary.

It simply means that the object isnīt in the sky, otherwise, the clouds would move/shake following the same pattern.

If anyone have arguments to convince me that the above reasoning is flawed, I would be glad to hear them.

If it was indeed filmed with a telescope, this is most probable a reflection of something in the lens or inside the telescope.

This is a typical TV strategy. They show a fake UFO video only to debunk it later, to continue to discredit the UFO phenomenon.

I donīt know about the rest of the sightings, but this video, in my opinion, is totally fake.

Cheers,

Raf.

So, i've got an open enough mind to take a second look at this.

As quoted by Allen on Huffington Post
He added that his sighting "was with clear, cloudless skies, no aircraft in sight, altitude unknown but definitely above airliner cruising altitude."

This statement is a direct contradiction to your Daily News report
“Several jets appeared to fly in the vicinity of this UFO.
Contrails could be seen zigzagging all around the object.
...At times it appeared to get brighter.”

- The Daily News, Williamson, Kentucky

I'll continue to review the evidence....
