Well, it seems that the fascist Berlusconi got what he deserved but 4 years is not enough IMHO.

Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been sentenced to four years in prison for tax fraud.

The sentence came in a trial that focused on the purchase of rights to show US films on television.

Well, I donŽt know how these things work up there in Italy, but I really doubt heŽll go to jail.

l'll believe it when i will see him behind bars! he always get out of this kind of situations, mafioso+politician+freemason = untouchable in italy
there is another trial going on that could invalidate the result of this one btw,so don't hold your breath :)

They' 'll sentence him then they'll explain he' s too old to go to jail. He also has charges of under age sex to face yet.
What difference will it make if he's too old to face justice.

Ok,

Even if they show him behind the bars do you really think he is going to stay in the prison?
That's the info they feed the people who others here call sheeple...)))

LOL

Phew, I bet he was worried there... For a minute.

What a joke.... reduced to one year due to a 2006 amnesty law aimed at reducing prison overcrowding..:mad2:

What exactly do these people have to do to get an appropriate prison sentence...???????

If it were you or me, we'd be breaking rocks or digging ditches right now.

The joke is, as prison sentencing goes, he'll no doubt be eligible for parole in half that time, 6 months... That's if he even makes it to chokey, which I'm not convinced he will. Certainly not in the "slopping out" wing at any rate, more like a private cell with home-from-home comforts.

Berlusconi is rich enough to buy his way out of anything!

As G.DeLuca explains above, if you're a mafioso/politician/freemason, you are untouchable.

Mafia and Freemasons run the country. The likes of Berlusconi can literally get away with murder, and they do!

From Channel 4 news:

The politician, who also owns AC Milan football club, may yet escape prison. In Italy, verdicts can be appealed twice before they become final and no jail time is served until the end of the appeal process.

It reminds me of Khodorkovsky! Be aware! The guy is suffering for nothing! Putin is against him and his family!
Freedom to Khodorkovsky!....Bla Bla Bla

Still anytime they show him he is glowing with health, writes articles, meets family.
His sun is quite successful businessmen and his siblings are striving...

Yes, put the Berlusconi to prison~ Let him suffer!

BS

He can't hide from the main man, humanity will be his judge and jury.
I have no doubt that he will not be able to avoid that justice.

There are going to be a lot of people soon that wIll Seem to be above the law. Do not let this mis justice
get you down, believe that these evil people will face discipline by the hand of God.

A visit to dreamland is on the cards.

His sentence is now lowered to one year in prison according to swedish media.
Guess heŽll be getting off the hook somehow. Perhaps it is just a show like everything else in italian politics... err...correction... western politics, that is.
