Hate is weakness, Love is strength, sounds right enough!
Hate is dislike, aversion, repulsion.
Love is kindness, empathy, compassion.
We all have a choice, and of course we all choose Love.....or do we? We may have the idea that we choose Love, but is it there all the time? I mean, suffusing every moment with Love. Of course it isn't: we are only human...but we'd like to be more...but not now. We do this because it takes effort to remember, not to retaliate, not to react...not to respond from the gut, but from the heart.
But what are we doing when we are not in Love?
Well, we have two other options: we are either indifferent/asleep or we dislike/hate. Oh dear, is that all? Yes!
Loving every moment is quite challenging, so we tend to carry the idea around with us, and bring it out on special occasions. If we are only carrying it around to bring it out when we fancy, what are we doing most of the time?
This is very uncomfortable territory. There is much propaganda out there, that we are on the side of Love and the Righteous, I expect even the NWO gets dewy eyed sometimes. But it is 'our' love and 'our' righteousness, and it's hallmark is...lack of empathy.
Hate is I love.
Love is ? .'is'. Merely being. It is the recognition of awareness, pure awareness, a knowing quality that is....'is'. That which is present before the limited identification of me, with its adornments and elaborations and cleverness.
Love is recognising that every single sentient being 'is' pure awareness.
When this is recognised, then - like Michelagelo - we merely remove the layers of limitations...not add to them!
In clearing away the debris, we achieve clarity.
When we are 'constantly' challenged, we know that life is teaching us Love.:fish:
