We need to start boycotting these companies, I believe they are doing the same in the USA

How do they get away with it?

RT News article.

Top US corporations faced tough questioning by British MPs who accused Google, Starbucks and Amazon of leaking tax revenues from the UK to tax havens abroad, labeling their actions as “immoral.”

“We are not accusing you of being illegal,” Public Accounts Committee chairman Margaret Hodge said as quoted by The Telegraph, “we are accusing you of being immoral.”

Accusing them of being 'immoral'? They're corporations.
Gosh. Don't hurt their feelings. Immoral is way worse than illegal, I'm sure. I hate going to bed thinking I've been immoral.
It sort of stinks of mind-fog transmissions.

I'd enjoy hearing a British MP lecture me on morality.

I've had enough of paying more and more tax while special plans are there in place for big corporations and people joining the K2 scheme and such. Let's not even talk about the piles of stash in the snowy alps and Cayman Islands - for what?
Pfizer is the other company that made billions yet paid zeroes.

I know I'm just one, but I'm one of many who will boycot these businesses. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I am more likely to support a small, local business owner - having seen the depressing sight of empty shops along the high street - than support an online megalopolis like Amazon.
At least the small business owner is paying his dues and is part of my real, physical community.

The country's financial state is in shambles as little grey men scurry around trying to claw back pennies from people claiming benefits all the while pounds and employment are just gushing out every harbour, train track and airport.

All I can do is just refuse to buy stuff from antisocial corps. They may employ people, but that as far as I'm concerned isn't the only criterium.

Do not use Google, do not do Starbucks and Amazon is not on my list of sites to patronize for quite some time now as well as many other sites, stores, shops, products, services, etc........................Non-Compliance is my tool for maintaining personal integrity in what I believe is wrong and do not wish to support in many areas of my life, culture country and world at large!! If I could get off the grid totally I would do that too  however do what I am capable of doing to right the wrong that I can in my corner of the world.:canada:
