I should first mention that my wife and I had zero alcohol and were not on any medication when we saw it. It was mid to late November; we were not too far for the park entrance. The reason why I picked that remote location to take my wife (we were still dating at that time) is bizarre. I think I’ve only had few dates back then with her. So get this, I drove for about 3 hours to take her there. For some reason, I thought it would be nice to take her into nature for a short walk in the park 3 hours away! I recall picking up a weekend travel destination guide for Ontario and choosing that remote location. I have no idea what made me pick that location. It made so much sense to me back then, as if I have to do this. I asked her what she thought of our little trip back then. She didn’t mind it as she loved to talk to me. We also kissed there for the first time. :) I should emphasize that currently, I would have never done this trip.
About the big foot. This being wasn’t big; I’d say it was about 5 feet tall; it had small head and small dark eyes. Its body was fully covered with dark brown/black straight hair. I definitely think it was a female. My wife thought the same at the time. We starred at it for approximately 5 min from about 50 feet. The only way I can describe our state is that we were frozen, disconnected yet so focusted on her! “She” was sitting on a tree about 20 feet high, looking at us and around. At the time, I was not “awake”. I’ve never meditated prior to that time (2001). We were not scared or in a state of panic during the encounter. On the contrary, what we were experiencing at that time was a sense of calmness, peace and love, but not the typical human love you commonly experience now days between humans. It took me many years to realize what exactly took place back there in that forest. It felt like “she” was projecting calmness and love to us but this was so unusual, so foreign to me and my wife, that after short time, we panicked and for some reason a state of total fear took over us. Was it because it started to get dark? Was she trying to communicate telepathically with us? Was it combination of factors? Perhaps...We started to move fast back to the car. When we came up to the escarpment and had a clear view of the city below, fear disappeared. We never talked about it until recently. Something is telling to go back there...

If you go there again, what would you prefer:
Seeing the 'big foot' without the feeling of unconditional love, or feeling unconditional love without seeing the bigfoot?

Just curious :)

i've read old accounts, about more intimate contact,...like being taken back to a family group etc.

some good stuff i read,
even from dalores canon i believe,

they tap into a different consciousness aspect of this earth,......necassary such therefore as earth children....and on a different path of evolution

you guys probably had that undesturbed contact,.... cause your duo-field was not as that of hunters.
the moment of terror, was probably a total tapping, so-that u guys suddenly felt uncomfortable.....why else,...if something has maneuverability while u have not, that would cause panic,
possible,... we tap into dif energies (as bt species), ///also may have been a warning on that ones part of approach of other members of her family group.
well
good journeys

Having experienced universal love/cosmic love one and only one time, I'd have to say I'd choose the feeling of love. The encounter did not make me feel what I experienced in my meditation. There are no words to describe the feeling. I've only experienced that one time and have not been able to feel that or experience again in my meditation. If I were try to give some description, it was an instant understanding of EVERYTHING, experience of love that absolutely penetrates every part of your soul. At that moment, I also knew that the physical form I have here on Earth is not me, or I should say what I realy am.

This is slightly off-topic!

But here's a plaster cast of a Bigfoot taken quite a while back by a good friend -- who showed it to me just the other day.

His own shoe, alongside the cast for comparison, is a size 10 (US): that's a 9 (UK) or 43 (European).

The cast is about 16" long. As far as I can figure out, that's something like a size 26 (US) or 60 (European).

Hi Bill,

Could you say by who's measures this plaster cast was taken?

What I find amazing about your experience is that I read that there were 2 types of bigfoot. One that lives deep underground is highly vicious. No one should want to run into one. The second one has low intelligence but not as vicious as the other one. Both are dangerous. But your experience proves that there's a 3rd type.

I had an experience with about 4-5 bigfoot, but astrally. They were telling me they didn't like what humanity was doing to the forests. And then they all came at me to attack (as if they were blaming me for it). Luckily, I got behind a fence in time.... That's an experience I'm glad was only astrally.... :becky:

Ever since James "Bobo" went on Conan and mentioned the genome of Bigfoot is now mapped and there is DNA evidence I'm looking at some of the older postings on youtube with a new eye.

The evidence on police dash cam is pretty good.

This next one is simply amazing, maybe some of the best bigfoot footage on the web, and the analysis is superb...

First let me say I envy you. It is very rare to be close to a Sasquatch for that long of time. It was most likely a immature female and was so calm probably because a parent or Alpha male was nearby. The irrational fear that you felt is called being "Zapped". Bigfoot are thought to use infrasound generated in their large lungs to create a subsonic sound wave. This has a direct effect on the central nervous system and can cause nausea, panic, fear, and confusion. The military and police use this very technique as a non-lethal form of crowd control. But you were blessed.

Does 'Bigfoot' just have one big foot and one smaller or are they both the same size? In which case it should be Bigfeet shouldn't it?

kemo, that is a question lots of people of Bigfoot Forum sites have. For the sake of convenience, people just say "Bigfoot" wether or not if referring to multiple or a single Bigfoot. Or the other common name of Sasquatch. It really just comes down to what sounds right. Bigfeet just doesnt have a good ring to it. There was a poll that someont started on a forum I frequent that called for names for when feferring to more than one Bigfoot. Some where quite amusing. Platoon, Brigade, Hallucination, a Flotilla (as in big feet called "boats") and my favorite; a Gathering of Bigfoot.

I've been listening to a lot of "Bigfoot outlaws " on YouTube with koonbo and bear...so, bear with me :)

Mike Woolleys encounter is terrifying but at the end when he answers why he didn't shoot it was awesome. The human brain and heart (soul) is absolutely amazing. This man is a hunter. He has no problem eliminating another breathing life for his own benefit. That's called survival and it's how we are the dominating life known on this planet...we know that, ok.

Now I wonder if that human feeling of not wanting to kill another similar appearing soul is unique to humans.?

I love that he didn't shoot the Bigfoot. That probably saved his life. Cause you'd have to keep shooting if you didn't get him thru the head. And that would have taken up time before the back up arrived.

Yikes!

I've listened to a few interviews with Mike Wooley, it's a great encounter (to listen to, not experience I'm sure) and he seems a genuine chap.
