This is true not only from hunting and climate change, but also constructions of cities and changing landscapes for the breeding of livestock. Could it be that the only animals that we will see in the future will be fish fingers, hamburgers and bacon rashers in the supermarkets?

Hello dear Viking,

That is a very plausible scenario. Much more then planet X or cosmic waves. Now, oil are spreading in our waters. Pollution IS the real threat for mass instinction and POLLUTION comes from the way of life of 20% of the Earth population.

Have you ever read a book called 'Plan B 3.0' by Lester R. Brown? http://www.earth-policy.org/images/uploads/book_files/pb3book.pdf In this book, you will see that your article is touching something real.

Hubert Reeves a also wrote a book called 'mal de terre' where he presents 3 scenario for the future, if we maintain this course. The worse is that in 100 years, planet Earth will be an aride desert like Venus, where nearly no life can develop at all. The best scenario is that in 100 years all the mamals will be gone, only insects and some reptiles will be able to develop. For those who know Hubert Reeves and is notoriety it is a message not to be taken lightly.

I am very wary about the way we live, our waste, pollution and gap between poors and rich people. That is the real threat to me.

I dont believe the human race will be around in another 100 years, if they continue to live their lives the way they do now,without any concern whatsoever of the consequences against our beloved mother earth,not going to happen good luck with that tho,so lets hope that something is coming down the pipe to change mass consciousness some way somehow,because if that doesn't happen i am just glad to say i wont be alive in another 100 years,and i feel horrible for the future that our children may have to deal with ...

A few go so far as to say we are entering a new geologic epoch, leaving the 10,000-year-old Holocene Epoch behind and entering the Anthropocene Epoch, marked by major changes to global temperatures and ocean chemistry, increased sediment erosion, and changes in biology that range from altered flowering times to shifts in migration patterns of birds and mammals and potential die-offs of tiny organisms that support the entire marine food chain.

Could we end life on earth for man? Sure.
The earth would just start over with bees, or buffaloes, or barnacles. ;)

Whatever the cause, the result could be a complete collapse of the marine ecosystem, according to new research from the US. Far from being no more than a theory, they warn that two marine wipe-outs have occurred in the past and we may be triggering a third.

Researchers from Brown University and the University of Washington catalogued the results of the two earlier extinction events by searching the fossil record. Their study of an extinct distant relative of today’s squid and cuttlefish showed just what can happen if you start messing with the marine food web, publishing the details in the journal Geology .

“It is definitely a cautionary tale because we know it has happened at least twice before,” states the paper’s lead author, Prof Jessica Whiteside, an assistant professor of geological sciences at Brown.

The research also showed that once you knock the marine ecosystem out of sync, it can take millions of years to put it right again.

i seen a show on uk tv chanel 4 about shark fin soup,theirs over 100 million sharks killed worldwide each year and only 5% of the fish is actually eaten,basically they catch the shark and drag it on deck and cut the fins off and dump the shark back in the water while its still alive,shocking stuff tbh.
the regulations say that the whole shark has to be landed at the public dock befotre the fins are removed but rarely happens.
this is another threat to the whole marine enviroment by removing its main predator

well imagine now that we realize each time we see a punch cloud an antimatter burst just went off with more power than any bomb ever made...

Thorium is almost the same as uranium and right now our atmosphere is filled with it...

imagine all of the oil refineries, burning off excess which is pumping out more and more for each gallon... Countries like Venezuela, Mexico, Iran along with many others don't have the right equipment to process it out... I have been looking at health reports around these refineries and it is shocking, birth defects etc related to the poisons...

The world needs to step in and help them with equipment needed to stop the emissions...

Yes sadly this is a fact. I keep Coral and Marine fish and for years now Coral eco systems have been collapsing en masse across the globe. Coral is one of the oldest and most beautiful forms of life on the planet, and IMHO is one Barometer of Earth's health and with the Oceans increasing acidity more and more Coral is being 'bleached' in short it is not looking good. All these eco-systems i think are part of Mother Earth's soul, part of the planets (and so our) life force.

This story is a little off topic.
I once had a little yellow spotted Box fish (his name was square pants) :) anyway this particular Box Fish has one of the most deadly toxins known to man in a gland in its body. It only secretes this toxin if its in extreme stress or in defence of its life, In the ocean this isnt a problem but in the confined space of an Aquarium it is deadly and the fish only does this as a last resort. Anyway one day i noticed square pants wasnt looking well at all (he was my favourite fish)

After a short time other fish (which he had lived with all his life) began viciously attacking him,(i know people will say its natural) by the time i became aware of this he was in a really bad way, i will always remember the way he looked at me at deaths door, as if to say 'its alright don't worry' as he was remorselessly attacked. He could have killed them all any time he wanted but he chose not to. I removed him to another tank so he could at least die in peace (which he did) But that fish taught me a valuable lesson.

My point is that nobody can tell me that fish don't have a soul. There is SO MUCH we can learn from them and they are dying in their millions, sometimes before mankind has even discovered them ! And it breaks my heart to see what is happening. Mankind thinks he is the most intelligent animal on the planet yet he is so short sighted and stupid. It really saddens me.

As I mentioned in a thread that I started (and no one responded to), climate prediction is a complex guess, and that's if it is done by honest and well informed researchers. The ocean ecosystems, on the other hand, are already in trouble - observable right now, no prediction required. I see the easily sampled pH of the oceans (showing acidification) and the alarming loss of 40% of plankton as the canary in the coal mine. I suppose the ocean changes could be from changes in solar radiation or fluctuations in the magnetosphere that are not man-made, but I believe we as a species need to guess we're almost undoubtedly causing some or all of the problem, and should at least try to take whatever steps we can to remove our foot from Gaia's carotid artery.

The pawns are doing exactly as told by the service to self E.T's that want to make sure the timeline of destruction happens. The Oil spill, the killing of dolphins and whales which are responsible for keeping the harmonics of the earth balanced ( which is astounding to me how you can kill a whale or a dolphin is beyond my understanding, and it is only the Asian countries that partake in the hunting of them, or the vast majority anyways) spraying of chemtrails, keeping children starving, cutting down forest's etc....

All part of the same agenda to kill the Flora and Fauna of the planet, therefor allowing the planet to be sucked into a fall scenario where the Drako can take full control.

Humanity is responsible for speeding up the natural rate of extinction for animal and plant species by up to 10,000 times, as the planet is on the brink of a dinosaur-scale sixth mass extinction, a new study has warned.

Species are disappearing around 10 times faster than is widely believed in the scientific community, while in pre-human times extinction rates were slower than previously thought, researchers from Duke University in the US said.

“We are on the verge of the sixth extinction,” lead author, biologist Stuart Pimm, said. “Whether we avoid it or not will depend on our actions.”

Praised by independent experts as a landmark report, it focuses around calculating a “death rate” of how many species become extinct each year out of 1 million species.

Analysing the latest research, the team concluded that the pre-human extinction rate was 0.1 per year per 1 million, rather than 1 per 1 million, as a previous study led by Dr Pimm in 1995 suggested.

Today, the rate is at least 1,000 times greater than the 0.1 figure at 100 extinctions per year per million species, but could be up to 1000 per 1 million, Dr Pimm said.

Although a combination of numerous factors is responsible for the acceleration in disappearance of species, the biggest is habitat loss caused by humans, Dr Pimm and co-author Clinton Jenkins from the Institute of Ecological Research in Brazil said.

Other major issues are invasive species introduced by humans crowding out native species, climate change affecting where species can survive and overfishing.

A good example is the buffy-tufted-ear marmoset Dr Jenkins said development in Brazil has decimated its habitat while a competing marmoset has taken over where it lives.

The oceanic white-tip shark used to be one of the most abundant predators on Earth, but they have been hunted so much they are now rarely seen, added Dalhousie University marine biologist Boris Worm, who praised the study. “If we don't do anything, this will go the way of the dinosaurs.”

Other species at great risk include the Sumatran rhinoceros, Amur leopard and mountain gorilla.

Dr Pimm and Mr Jenkins did however say there is some hope. Both said the use of smartphones and applications such as iNaturalist will help ordinary people and biologists find species in trouble, they said. Once biologists know where endangered species are, they can try to save habitats and use captive breeding and other techniques to save the species, they said.

One success story is the golden lion tamarin. Decades ago the tiny primates were thought to be extinct because of habitat loss, but they were then found in remote parts of Brazil and bred in captivity, and biologists helped set aside new forests for them to live in, Dr Jenkins said.

“Now there are more tamarins than there are places to put them,” he said.

We're not on the verge, we're in it. It's here. And, yes, where we go from here depends on our choices but I would include our biggest choice of whether or not to cast off the criminal fake reality control matrix that is preventing us from understanding who we are, where we are from and what we are capable of. And, of course, we have to include in this debate the fact that humans are being targeted for at least a partial extinction. Chemtrails, fluoride, vaccines, gmo's...these are all soft kill weapons against us.

Yes we should be more conservative with how we treat the planet, but Humanity is causing the next mass extinction? The fact that people are even willing to consider that notion is scary.

we should be much more focused on preventing the next PLANETARY extinction event (a sizable meteorite strike) not this silly unproven "anthropomorphic climate change" nonsense.

be careful where you spend your energy and place your focus, it's one of the few resources inherent to humanity.

I think of this often, its either that or an massive CME that is going to take us out, I don't think those stupid prepper shows on Discovery/Nat Geo channel are accidental, we are supposed to see it, there is nothing that can be done for us, besides informing that is, we will be left to fend for ourselves, that's exactly what they DO want to share, a couple of months ago the water went out in some village in Belgium, some truck stopped in the neighborhood with bottled water, total riot and it was gone in a minute, warehouses will empty out all goods in days and there'll be nothing else for us and they know it.

Ever walked into a large bookstore lately and check out the gardening section, they're pumping out books like crazy, or garden centers, half of the plants and trees are food related, all supermarkets here in Holland have seeds and small gardening tools now, this was not the case 5 or 10 years ago, someone is trying to make a point by bringing the food chain back in the picture by making it hip again, shame most seeds will not reproduce though, balls:(

Very interesting video, and very depressing too, especially if you live in the northern hemisphere. As I don't and I am aware of the vast ice sheets melting in Antarctica, I was disappointed that the southern hemisphere was ignored. Do you have information of the warming in the southern part of our planet? It is hard to find i think, although I believe it is happening there also. Perhaps the lack of information is because no one lives within the Antarctic circle on a permanent basis.

A very good stimulus to pick up the discussion again is the first 19 minutes of this 27 December 2018 Coast to Coast AM broadcast with Linda Howe. (Interestingly, Linda says that one of the remedies is to reduce carbon emissions. Inexplicably, she still has a mainstream view of 'global warming'.)

By Chance I came across a Edgar Cayce video which goes into great detail about the past regarding ET's, Anunaki, Aliens & Life on Other Planets--its not normally my "thing" but I found it fascinating and believable.

The details, the names, dates, words, and readings of legend and scripture, may be a useful form of story telling, in order to share with us, in terms and notions we (at least a few of us) can sort of understand, what are essentially a history, a form, a structure, a layering, that we don't have a common language or shared framework of thought to express.

I find Zecharia's explanation of the Old Testament info regarding who Yahweh was, etc. a lot more plausible than Van Auken's, and that of many people who have memories of the exodus from Lyra to Earth and other destinations, due to Reptilian aggression.
I saw Van Auken speak at another one of Tyberonn's conferences in Little Rock a few years ago and was not really that impressed by his presence ( I was blown away by Dr. Semir Osmangich's light and powerful presence, though).
Where many Christians take the Old Testament literally and unquestionably (blind faith), no matter how little sense it makes, I had the feeling that Van Auken takes everything that Cayce said in the same way.
Though Cayce was certainly correct about a lot of things, when it comes to any kind of channeled information, we really need to keep our discernment hats on.

I'm 46 now, in my youth I was inundated with reasons to worry about the earth.
Stories of the rainforest disappearing, acid rain, species going extinct everyday. Man I was so worried about the whole thing.
Then at the ripe old age of 28 I decided that there had been many extinction level events before modern man.
The earth rebounded after all of these events and so did the life on it.
Simply speaking, mankind is an extinction level event for many species on the plant.
But, all will be fine when the reset button is pushed for the human race.

So, no reason to fret, no reason to worry. The wildlife of the planet gets free reign for 99.9% of the time except for when extinction level events happen.
All is as it should be.

This is all within the cyclical plan of God or Universe or Earth Mother or who ever is in control of all of this. :)

So DNA - you will play no part in remediation prior to potential extinction? At least I will go to my next existence knowing I had tried, and influenced, the saving of anything living. Never give up, as nothing is a ‘done deal’ in this universe, this timeline, this ‘dimension’ where we purport to be today...

EDIT--I've been asked to change my wording on this, so I'm taking the long route in stating what I said earlier in one sentence. I'm not sure if it is more political correct but there it is.

The only thing that is going to save the planet from remedying the potential for extinction is a dramatic drop in humans on the planet.
Going green and putting your plastics in the recycling bin is just not going to cut it at this point.
If you want to save the planet you have to kill the people.
Now, I don't say this in a manner that anyone will take seriously, and yet I do.
Each person is associated with so much damage on the environment it is mind blowing. You can be as green as you want to be but you are a polluting world killing animal sacrificing monster inflicting extinction upon extinction upon the animal kingdom with every breath you take.
The elite and their depopulation agenda are in the end the only hope the human race has. I've seen this for years, and yet I'm selfish and want to live.
So I raise my voice against the elite and their intent to depopulate the planet to the tune of 99.9% of us, and yet, I know bones to balls that they are right in doing so.

We've all figured that everything including us has their time! The time for us is coming to a close though in my opinion and I really doubt it had much to do with how we behaved. Chances are the slate gets wiped periodically. You can see it now! The end I mean. We are starting to piece together the happenings of the last age now, getting a picture even of the advance notice they had for cataclysm when their time ended! Each age we get a flush apparently! Seeing the parasite we refer to as human (yes I know I'm one at the moment) first hand it appears to me to be more trouble than it's worth and long overdue for a flush! NASA Scientists Warn Earth is Due for 6th 'Mass Extinction Event'

The Earth is down for a large-scale event that could wipe out humanity, according to a NASA scientist. Humans are unprepared to stop such an event, said Joseph Nuth, a researcher with Nasa’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Nuth, who was addressing the annual meeting of American Geophysical Union, said large and potentially dangerous asteroids are rare, but could strike the Earth at any time, the Guardian reported Tuesday. “But on the other hand they are the extinction-level events, things like dinosaur killers, they’re 50 to 60 million years apart, essentially. You could say, of course, we’re due, but it’s a random course at that point,” he said. Nuth noted the Earth had "a close encounter" with a comet in 1996 and then again 2014 when a comet passed "within cosmic spitting distance of Mars." Mankind didn't even know about the 2014 event until 22 months before it hit Mars. But scientists would need a warning time of more than two years to stop a comet from hitting Earth, he said. "If you look at the schedule for high-reliability spacecraft and launching them, it takes five years to launch a spacecraft. We had 22 months of total warning," he said. Even reducing that timeframe by 25 percent would be "basically a hail-mary pass," he said. Meanwhile, Cathy Plesko, a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, suggested mankind use a nuclear warhead to deflect an asteroid. "Cannonball technology is actually very good technology, intercepting an object at high speed actually ends up being more effective than high explosives," she said. "We don’t want to be doing our calculations before something is coming. We need to have this work done." Government officials are already looking into how to protect the Earth from a disaster that could signal the end of the world. The Federal Emergency Management Agency and NASA performed in October a simulation exercise of what might happen if a huge asteroid hit near Los Angeles, killing tens of thousands. Also, it’s fairly difficult to say when do we hit the precepis of awareness, or catastrophe, how far do we have to go before we face the “deadline”.
Maybe we are nowhere that point quite now, quite yet because nature is still abundant at certain zones and places but devastated at others.
So are we as species.

To the overly rationalised brains, technocrats of modern age, the future of human civilisation seems to rest on invention and life- for its mortal frailty- and unpredictable sense of expansion became an enemy and future of human civilisation looks like giant immortal computer and terra formed land without live errors.
Perhaps, in best case scenario , carefully cut Japanese bonsai garden with likewise carefully cut humans. But we are nowhere that far either.

People are practically being suffocated in these zones, in more civilised parts of the world it’s made to look nicer so it just takes longer time.

Of course there is still some pristine, pure nature “out of the zone” and according to the grand masters ( sarcastic and ironical) of human civilisation who fail to admit any responsibility for current state of matters, “it does not matter, it’s always been so and nature will inevitably take care of the rest”.
“They” who don’t know who they are prepping to save themselves the best and waiting for the “big one”, for the big cataclysm to occur to cleanse this planet from core of its chemistry and all its nonessential to them life forms, perhaps boiling it all down to hell. They who don’t know who they are - gave up on keeping it clean long ago and can’t stop themselves in their dirty indulgence in the material products world and dependence on it.

Perhaps it’s not enough that millions of people and thousands of brilliant minds of science are screaming loudly to stop and avert the disaster.
Not enough that most of the big wild life is dissappearing in front of our eyes ..

They don’t go to the places and zones where it’s screaming the worst and when they land in Delhi, they take air conditioned cab to the AC hotel with best views of closed garden, fit for emperors.
They’ll continue doing what they did because they pride does not allow them to do otherwise, followed by multitudes chasing the “golden yoke”.

It seems likely there are going to be pockets of survivors, as there have been before (after the great flood, etc.); mostly small, resourceful cooperative communities who are living simply and close to Nature, growing their own food, herbs, etc. and in close touch with Nature spirits and Spirit in general.
The growing movement of intentional, spiritual, sustainable communities is a promising sign.

Just happen to be reading this when I noticed this thread had re surfaced...so thought I would post. This particular piece is part of a Journal written in 1989 and to the point as to where you all need to be with your 'housekeeping'.

THE LAWS OF GOD

You shall honor the Lord thy God with all thy being and have no other Gods before you. If another man attacks you with intent to kill of you and he dies instead, has he not committed of his own murder? A great problem arises, who shall then execute the murderer, the rapist, etc.? HE WHO KILLS IS ONE WHO COMMITS MURDER. Thou shall not commit adultery. Not sometimes or maybe—never. The gift of sexual union is to create offspring that are wanted and carefully accepted. Any other use of such is to have human physical pleasure and is therefore wrong. You wish to claim that it is a man given “right” to fornicate and seek pleasure—no, it is a testing of which you have all failed in 99.9% failure. You have overpopulated your world and now the unbalance will cost you dearly. You have ceased to assume proper responsibility of the outcome of that behavior—you degrade it further by calling it “love”. Think about it. Do not equate it to the animal behavior of The Creation in Nature. Animals will not populate beyond their balanced ability to survive—when they so do they fall into hard times and much death is wrought by nature upon them—SO BE IT.

“Love” has naught, mostwise, to do with sexual interactions. Love is pure and is from the soul mind—all else is a desire for power, control, and purely physical indulgence of flesh lust. It is truly the ultimate downfall of man as a human entity. KINGDOMS HAVE BEEN FORFEITED FOR 30 SECONDS IN AN ILLICIT RELATIONSHIP—KINGDOMS FALL, FAMILIES ARE BROKEN, HEARTS ARE BROKEN AND LIVES DEVASTATED—DO NOT DEGRADE THE TERM “LOVE” BY CALLING OF SUCH ACTIONS AS “LOVE”.

Honor of thy parents for they have allowed you habitation for your soul—through agreement. That means to give unto them honor, it does not mean bend and scrape or feel they are in the “owing” unto you of anything. But as you were cared for it is just that you, in turn, care for them. If they cared for you not, then there is unbalance if you pull from your responsibility to your family or neighbor to give unto them that which is unjust. All should be cared for in love and honor of life.

Do not confuse of thy giving of thy tithe unto a church group of man-given doctrine with giving unto ME. Very little of your gifts ever make it into Mine truthful works. Beware the ones who pound upon you or limit thy growth as to the amount of thy GIVING for they speak falsely. I also say to give thy gifts in secret, thusly NO MAN shall be given to know and if he inquires, he is of evil intent for human purpose and not for the kingdom of God or the tending of The Creation. He is in the solicitation of funds to keep of himself and his temples tended—MINE WORK IS DONE IN THE HEARTS OF MAN AND NOT JUST WITHIN THE STONE TEMPLES OF BEAUTEOUS SYMBOLISM. NO DERELICT WOULD DARE COME INTO THY STONE TEMPLES TO SIT AMONG THE SELF-PROCLAIMED ELITE. NO OTHER LAW NEEDED

You must do, be and give unto others as you would receive (if you would have a balanced, harmonious world). You need no other before you for this is one that fits all things. You would not like another to steal of thy things. You would not like your spouse to covet thy neighbor’s spouse (it would make you feel most insignificant and angry)—you shall simply honor that which is The Creation and God’s Law in all manner and you shall not have cause to worry about Armageddon.
