An example of integrity winning out... I have been seeing more and more examples of integrity winning these small battles of late... or am I just dreaming?

I couldn't do everything I wanted to as a news director. There was a regular undoing of decisions. It's a culmination of ongoing occurrences that took place the last several years and basically involved upper-management practices that we both strongly disagreed with," she continued. "It's a little complicated, but we were expected to do somewhat unbalanced news, politically, in general.

"encroaching involvement" main words that jump at me in the article..

could it be msm reporters are feeling a little vile on some of the things that they have to give to the public when they know now there is so much more that should be reported..

Cindy Michaels, 46, and Tony Consiglio, 28, had spent the past six years working at WVII and its sister station WFVX, both affiliates of ABC News .

But after getting frustrated with upper management's encroaching involvement in news production, the pair decided to tender their resignation on air on Tuesday.

They did not tell anyone about their plans to resign before the 6pm broadcast.

"We figured if we had tendered our resignations off the air, we would not have been allowed to say goodbye to the community on the air and that was really important for us to do that," Michaels told local newspaper Bangor Daily News.

just for those that want to know what encroaching is:

http://www.freedictionary.org/?Query=encroaching

To enter by gradual steps or by stealth into the possessions
or rights of another; to trespass; to intrude; to trench; --
commonly with on or upon; as, to encroach on a neighbor; to
encroach on the highway.

Yea, I wonder what it was 'code' for, in their case.

Wouldn't it be great? if TV talking heads started a world wide wave of these resignations.

On the other hand, it could be like the cops. They drive out all the good'ns and replace them with total sicko power freaks.

Love hearing about this kind of stuff. justoneman - it's not just you; there was Amber Lyon from CNN that quit not too long ago, and I recall a few others.

People are starting to wake up!

But "good" cops have no chance to anounce to the world they step down because managemen being a bunch of psychos. And here is the difference with msm' anchors :) They can anounce it to a wider audience :)

they sure could have announced more for sure robert j. but have now lost an opportunity to tell their audience about how sneaky ABC upper management is..
i am hoping their new freelance career, can build them into making sure the audience they recieve, is going to hear the truth they may reveal. and i say truth as in a wider sense because who knows where their futures may go from now..

If you have savetubevideo URL's of the above form, then one way to get the video to post would be to type in

LB6nWS1vpbQ (replacing the 11 character Youtube ID, which was LB6nWS1vpbQ above, with the correct ID.)

Doing that will result in:
