View Full Version : How much of the alternative media is controlled?

When reviewing my bank statement a charge was there for an on line service along with a 800 telephone number. Being curious, the number listed was called and I inquired about the charge. The answering service said that they handle billing for various on line media and she started to list many neocon related media shows including the one that was subscribed to, which was not political in my estimation. It seems that they all use the same collector for their monies. Has anyone followed the money in regards to where it goes rather than where it comes from (or both)? I fell into this rabbit hole, should I just climb out and go my way or should I look around for dots?

Hi,
Once you fall into the "rabbit hole" I don't think it's so easy to crawl back out and go your own way. You'll just have to continue your journey deeper down the hole if you want to find the truth.
Good luck.

I see you talk about the money and such but what about the info/disinfo that comes our way? All I know is when I come across information that resonates within me I seem to have dark entities effect my dream/trance state that I enter. Robert Dean, I love his interviews but I don't believe the "Jesus is coming back" stuff....

As time goes by, I'm finding that you have to see what's happening to the world a bit like a multiple car wreck. There are emergency workers doing their best and there are screaming or unconscious trapped drivers etc.
And there are a hell of a lot of rubber neckers who are contributing nothing but clogging up the space for the emergency workers.
A long time ago, being a "truth worker" was a lonely job, I guess, but it was focused and precise stuff.
Nowadays, it's clogged up with business people making a living from it, or at least, a facsimile of it, and the excuse they use to invite themselves in to the 'alternative' world is that they " have a story to tell". Being wide open to new 'angles' on the mystery we are driven to solve, we welcome them all along and encourage more and more of them to spot an opportunity to switch career path into something a lot more fun than the one they've got.
Where will it all end?
I'm thinking of the Fell routes that people walk at the weekends. The walking traffic has become so heavy in some places that it's changing the Fells, detrimentally. In the world of "truth seeking" it's getting harder, not easier, to see the slivers of truth from the burgeoning swell of fanciful clap trap and deliberate false avenues etc.
In the car wreck analogy, the emergency workers can't get their job done for crowds of rubber neckers who are not there to help but to personally harvest thrills and kicks and giggles and whatever else they get out of this new wave of entertainment.
Some might say that the 'truth' movement should indeed go the way of popular 'appeal'. "Anything that raises public awareness - is a good thing" etc etc....
I just ask this of those people who'd say that:
Raise awareness of WHAT ?
The manipulators working to keep us down will exploit such a trend, I'm sure. I think I can already see that happening.
The general population are becoming falsely savi to trendy 'conspiracy theories' that are not at all real and serve to clog up the learning process, or to put it another way, the real raising of awareness that most of us can agree will be the only way things are going to turn out for the better.
Hollywood has always been there chipping away at the real truth seeking and rendering it back into fiction. Nowadays there are more and more operations piling in and grabbing an opportunity to capitalise on it like a natural resource they can dig up and distribute to unconscious people who will consume it without ever seeing where it comes from, why it's there and what it means.
Not only is that not helpful, it's very negative and could well seal our common fate in the negative.
I'm not sure I expressed myself very well there.

Hey folks,
Well, 99% of the articles and video I see around the alternative media are purely based on speculation; Most of them require you to believe the words of a person you donīt even know, just because some other person you donīt even know either vouched for the first one.
When you ask how much of it is controlled, you mean corrupted? Iīm not sure...I donīt think itīs corrupted in that sense.
I think the alternative media is mostly controlled by the egos of the people involved. You know, these people deal with delicate subjects and most of them end up thinking they are privileged in some way, like feeling they are the only ones who know the truth, that they have special top secret contacts, that they have the ability to see into the future like some kind of prophet or like they are some sort of super-human. Iīve seen all sorts of superiority complexes around here...
Just my two cents anyway.
Cheers,
Raf.
