I'm not sure, but since there aren't that many hotels/motels on most sides of the Pentagon, except to the south, and since there is only one major elevated freeway close to the Pentagon, also to the south, I am guessing that the hotel where this video came from is the Doubletree, at

+38° 51' 50.42", -77° 3' 9.09 Google that exact latitude, longitude to see the location.

If so, that would put this video camera on one of the opposite sides of the Pentagon from where whatever it was hit it. Any plane incoming at several hundred miles per hour close to the ground might be visible in the sky above the Pentagon, in the darkened area in this video, for just one frame, plus or minus one, and as just a blur. (One frame, minus one, is zero frames to be exact ...).

In other words, those who haven't figured out by now that it was not American Airlines Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon that day, aren't going to figure it out from this "evidence" either.

CNN's FOI request was denied because at the time the tape was considered evidence in the investigation of Zacarias Moussaoui, who has since been convicted.
Notice the date on that article -- this hotel video was released six years ago :).

I believe the "plane" hit the face of the Pentagon the faces east and slightly North. If this the Doubletree, the road in the foreground Army Navy Drive and behind that Hwy #395. The underpass off to the left is S. Eads Street and goes to the Pentagon. The distance from the camera to the explosion is 0.5 miles.
The supposed plane would be coming to the point of impact from the right (I kept look at it from the left, where traffic is coming from.)

For a moment I thought this might have been the The Amerisuites at 550 14th Road South, Arlington, VA, but then I got my bearings straight and agree, this is the Doubletree.

This alone isn't a smoking gun, they would probably argue that the plane was so low it wasn't visible behind #395. Nevertheless, it adds to the preponderance of info the 911 was as an inside job. Perhaps the best piece of incriminating evidence is that they wouldn't release this video and fought for 11 years to keep it out of view.

I would argue that, yes :). From that vantage point, one cannot even see the Pentagon behind #395, and the "incoming plane" would been behind the Pentagon, not above it, in the last bit of its flight.

Nor did they wait 11 years to release it. As I noted above and in the thread's title, they released this in 2006.

This video was likely allowed out because it basically tells us nothing, either way. It's the other videos, from the many security cameras closer to and in direct line of sight with the impact location, that aren't being released, and which would provide useful evidence.

It's interesting all the same to hear CNN talking about film that quote "did not show the airplane". It is is beginning to instil in the minds of people who are not going to do Paul's checking that the scene can be shown without THE airplane. Every little helps.
