I would like to know about raising one's frequency. However I want to know your personal experience, not what you have read or been told. I appreciate your responses.

Hey MB,

Well, this is an extremely interesting subject. I supposed you are talking about raising the frequency of your subtle body.

By my experience, I know that in order to raise your frequency, you have to actually lower your brainwave frequency first.

Iīve learned this during my OBE experiments.

Once I lower my brainwave frequencies through meditation, thereīs a point where I feel literally all particles of my subtle body accelerating to an almost unbearable rate and then Iīm out of my physical body.

During an OBE, I have to regulate my subtle body frequency in order to adequate to each astral place I may be. If I donīt do that, I donīt have enough coordination to move around the environment. Different places in the astral require different frequencies.

Cheers,

Raf.

Okay Raf, lets look at this from the POV of a newbie who just woke up. At this point, how does one raise frequency?

Ok. I suppose youīre familiar with meditation. Am I correct?

In deep meditation, your brainwaves will go way bellow alpha. Somewhere between Delta and Theta. Your brain gets really slow.

At this point, you can consciously accelerate your subtle body frequencies. All you have to do is feel its vibrations and visualize their acceleration.

For a complete newbie, she/he will have to learn and practice mediation first. As far as I know, thatīs the easiest way to learn to experiment with the subtle bodyīs frequencies constructively.

You know, there are no shortcuts for certain things...Even if there were, shortcuts are rarely the best option.

crap i typed this all up and had to redo it..
here goes...

first i started with being aware of what emotions/feelings my body experiences. i paid attention of where in my body and what the feelings were. whether they were anxiety, depression, sadness, etc. then i consciously made the choice to "fake it until i made it" by overriding these feelings with a zen/calm state of energy/vibes. for some time (first month at least) i didnt lose my anxiety, but i was working on it by acting calm anyways.

i noticed that even when i walked across the room or anywhere; my body's instinct was to 'do/express' something different, that wasnt in line with my zen/calm state.

i learned many things my physical body and mind were doing - were not the way i want to be or embody/these things were not my habits/paradigms. so like i said, faking it; was not a very easy thing to do. it wasnt easy being zen when i wasnt FEELING it. but it was my first step in being in control of my vibrations (as i see it now, i didnt realize how far i'd go and how much i'd learn when i started this process earlier this yr).

but soon my body got USED to feeling calm/zen - and then, when i felt anything that wasnt CALM/ZEN, it was very easy to recognize, and therefore deconstruct those feelings. i either realized that they werent real concern/worry/fear. and then if it was, i learned to deconstruct it to the point of "what do i have to worry about?" "what is the worst that can happen?"...

eventually this went away and my new default vibrations were calmer, and more of a state of happiness/calmness in the everyday life.

the next step to going deeper is learning about the chakras. the above examples were clearly 1st & 2nd chakras. :) :panda:

Your post is very helpful Teradactyl. I am recovering from PTSD. I am working on reconizing triggers and working thru them. So far meditation is hard because my monkeymind brings up triggers if I am not focused on something.

Raf I am not aware of my subtle body, don't even feel it. I am not as advanced as you are.

Thank you both!

I sit, walk, play, study, go off to sleep with focus on my heart. It expands outward and I sense it flowing out expanding the aura around, above and below. It makes me feel light, ultra-soft, soul-beautiful and sometimes giggly and smiley. (And dare I say out loud... tall, invincible and mighty.)

It's my full time job until it's automatic. Sometimes, I catch myself doing it automatically. When I'm out and about, I wear a power bag close to my heart that serves as a trigger to focus.

Recently, I've come to the place of knowing that nothing more is needed. It's all there, already. I continue with the exercise because I like the way it feels. It's both grounding and uplifting.

Tai Chi is another way, too. It's a moving meditation that is calming. Though subtle, you can feel the energy radiate outward. It's also uplifting.

As for the physical level: I use MMS, coming up on my 8th liver/gallbladder detox (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?6528-Liver-detox--from-av1-&p=535847&viewfull=1#post535847), 6 month mark drinking distilled water (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?44959-Distilled-water-for-health-and-awakening...&p=485401&viewfull=1#post485401) (Lisa Harrison interviewing Andrew Norton Webber), and 3 months juicing. All ways to rid the system of poisons/garbage and for the enhancement of inner knowing and increased frequencies.

PS I still like Ben & Jerry's.

i read a book that triggered this in me earlier this year. called mindsight, the writer addresses PTSD and how he helped his patients through it as well. :) anxiety was a minor problem compared to that, thats for sure. :flower:
basically triggers help, but noticing the change and disturbance in your calmness provides many moments where you can practice being stronger. :)
i enjoy challenges these days, because i get a chance to prove how much stronger i am than these parasitic feelings.

Nature is the great restorative source
Sunlight
Sun-gazing
Sun-baking
Hiking in a forest
Sitting by a tree
Listening to birds in the bush
Walking barefoot along the beach.
Not trying...just being...the change I feel in my entire being is very apparent.
I feel less anxious, less worried, less depressed.
More grateful, more open, more attuned, more inner peace....
This certainly feels like a raise in frequency
Less is more!
