Army shuts down for Christmas

In a move that former military commanders say is unprecedented, a leaked memo from a general says all military and civilian personnel in land forces — amounting to 110,000 men and women — are to take “block leave” for 25 days from December 14 until January 7.

The decision means all army barracks, Territorial Army buildings and other military sites in Britain will close for almost four weeks to provide “an opportunity for utility savings”.

The Army is attempting to cut its energy bills by closing bases
THE British Army has been ordered to take an extended 25-day Christmas holiday or “work from home” in an attempt to cut its gas and electricity bills.

Although it says the closure is in recognition of the extra workload for the Olympics, which involved 18,000 personnel, the order applies to almost the entire army. It adds that the aim is “to fully exploit the utility efficiencies available by closing down

i am sure this is a stunt ... with multiple directions. 1st they play the part of the good saving / planet friendly Gov. 2nd they play good boss to the army personnel. 3rd this will create hysteria / shock on the people that expect something bad to happen at 21/12/2012. Last they want to put more worries to the people that fear civil problems to arise these last few days of 2012 and having the army on holidays will increase the time it takes for any kind of respond to emergencies.

So as you see this creates chaos to many many parties ... just excellent for the "you know who" gang.

In my opinion -
There is always method behind this type of activity and the reasons stated is a load of bollocks!

Consider what you have by an empty area that otherwise would not be evacuated. You have a ghost town. Why would that be of use to anyone?
Well, the electromagnetic signature of the military environments can be defaulted to ground level. With no life forms moving around, satellites and antenna's can take emf pictures of the areas over an extended period to establish an empty standard.
Once the areas are occupied again ALL life form movements can be monitored, scutinised, identified and targeted by emf technologies.

Nice if you work for the British establishment knowing if guilty or not your own peers will burn you on the spot. Clearly the argument will be twisted to defend against insurgents and the like but this explanation is much more plausible from my perspective.

A natural pre-cursor for a zombie nation.

Wasn't it William Dean Garner (or am I remembering the wrong interviewee) who mentioned the upcoming black Christmas?
Perhaps they want the military out of the way ...

I honestly don't know what to think about this, but I agree it is another multi faceted stone thrown into an already unstable pond. The ripple affect will certainly be one form of fear or another.
