According to Mexico's attorney general 25000 people including children went missing on American-Mexican border in the last six years amid the chaos and fight with drug cartels. Some say that it's US policies that fuel the war on drugs meaning the drug mafia that profit off the illegal drug market. As the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms states around 70% of the guns found in Mexico originated in the US. Adriene Pine of the American University joins RT's Liz Wahl to break it down.

The war on drugs has claimed the lives of thousands on both sides of the US/Mexico border. Although many critics blame America's policies for fueling the fire, they aren't too far off. Of the arms seized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, over 70 percent of of them have originated from the US. CIA Manages drug trade, Mexican official says
The Central Intelligence Agency’s involvement in drug trafficking is back in the media spotlight after a spokesman for the violence-plagued Mexican state of Chihuahua became the latest high-profile individual to accuse the CIA, which has been linked to narcotics trafficking for decades, of ongoing efforts to “manage the drug trade.” The infamous American spy agency refused to comment.
