Hey mate,

Well, it´s hard to believe it since they didn´t offer a link to any other source.

The picture is quite dubious as well; Looks more like a sunset picture than a UFO.

Judging by the rest of the news from this website, it doesn´t look even close to reliable. Like these:

The story of the sunken UFO is appearing at many UFO sites from only from In Other Newz, but not in Japanese print media. A search of YouTube while turning up videos of recent UFO sightings in Japan, shows no evidence of a UFO crash in Okinawa
http://beforeitsnews.com/beyond-science/2012/12/ufo-crashes-off-okinawa-japanese-navy-secures-area-2440140.html

Would Other Newz be in need of trafic on their site?

Yeah, it´s a hoax.

The picture is from google streetview, not from the Japanese Navy as reported in the article.

I don´t want to sound harsh, but people should properly check the reliability of their sources before making such threads. It would take just a couple of minutes.

That is clearly a satiric website.

Hoax ?maybe but lets be honnest if a real UFO landed in the street and the alien got out of it and came up to you and shaken your hand you would still think it was not real. You would, you will try to reason the event away. You would because thats what you have been conditioned to do by the media programing.

This is from beforeitsnews (http://beforeitsnews.com/beyond-science/2012/12/ufo-crashes-off-okinawa-japanese-navy-secures-area-2440140.html):

It was a good story and well written but unfortunately appears not to be true. No Japanese news sources are reporting the event.

What appears to be a pink-colored UFO hovering in the sky in these Google street view images of Jacksonville, Texas is suspiciously similar to the UFO photo allegedly released by the Japanese Navy. Do the images below offer confirmation of the story or confirmation of a hoax?

well, some of us work 60 plus hours a week, and have a family, and don't have time to sit on the internet all day picking apart threads and telling people what they should be doing. I see those six fingers are for pointing out what I should have done. some just try to contribute a little when they have the time, sorry "mate" didn't mean to ruffle ur little feathers. I will think again before posting.

dreamer, do not think again, just post. Yours was a decent post, Ihave seen much worst and they are not shy to post again and again.

It is exceptional that I can post more this fall, usually I too work 60 hours weeks. The biggest posters usually work much less if they are not retired, which is often the case.

So, I may start working harder again in January, and will post less and make less research. My posting will also look less organised (I can be very thorough in my thinking) because I won't have time. So be it, they like it, good, they don't, too bad. We contribute what we can.

Love and understanding

I have always believed that other beings smarter than us, traveling vast distances across space avoiding asteroids and such, when entering earth's space would not crash but be shot down... hence the term prison planet. we are barbarians first, scientist last. Our military has a way of NOT making friends first but enemies... Hey ET don't judge us by our leaders they are insane.... talk to one of us first, we will all say avoid our leaders they lie and kill and are greed driven not science driven...we will introduce you to captian Bill the hat Ryan and you will know the real human race.....

If it IS real, then it's likely to become whitewashed aka Roswell, Rendelsham Forest, Varginha etc, in any case: Try googling

"UFO crash Okinawa" - you will find many links, not all originating from the first post.

Nippon Television:
UFO crashed of the coast of Okinawa, Japan. Prime Minister of Japan is waiting for the report.
Published December 6, 2012

Nippon Television reported that an unidentified flying object, UFO, fell into the water off the coast of Okinawa, an island at the southern tip of Japan. Several news groups, police units and ambulances had time to see the "UFO sink" in the water, according to several sources.

"We saw something like a small ship with a dome and it slowly sank into the water when we arrived on the scene," said Hideki Suzuki (Hideki Suzuki) police chief of the Okinawa prefecture. "We clearly saw smoke otobekta when he went down. Clouds of steam rose when he disappeared in the depths of the ocean., We expect to begin investigation into the incident, and the ship will be studied. Once we have the equipment, we lift it out of the water."

Some eyewitnesses share their impressions of what he saw. Nippon Television tells a story old male fisherman who was in a small boat off the coast. He said he saw a giant fireball racing, flying in the sky at a very high speed. Object streaked across the sky, hit the water, and then returned to the sky in one piece. An elderly man said he thought he heard the distant sound of the engines that are trying to restart, just a few minutes before the unknown object began to emit smoke.

The team was also sent from Tokyo to investigate UFOs, as the authorities raise the sunken boat from the water.

"This could be one of the greatest discoveries of mankind," - said Dr. Daisuke Matsui, a professor of aviation technology at Tokyo University. "If this is what we believe, then this will be telling our children's children. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it was confirmed that this is the real thing."

Nippon Television reported that Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, has been notified of an emergency landing, and the authorities expect a report on developments in Okinawa.

The Japanese fleet was cordoned off the crash site and prepare divers to descend into the water to get a boat and take photos for recycling purposes. There is no doubt that the fleet will be actively involved in the extraction of a UFO from the depths of the ocean.

Its a satirical news report gone wild.
Other sites have used the same 'report' and seem to also be reporting it as real news with variations.

UFO crash sighted near Okinawa coast, or so media says

http://japandailypress.com/ufo-crash-sighted-near-okinawa-coast-or-so-media-says-1219716

By Ida Torres
12 Dec, 2012

UFO sightings, both of the flying kind and the crashing kind, have always been filled with cases of wild goose chases, dubious evidence, and hoaxes. This latest one, which supposedly happened on Japanese waters and supported by the government, might very well be yet another case of that.

Reported by an online blog-slash-news site and picked up by other media, the crash, or rather, the sinking, was witnessed by several news crews, police officers, and emergency personnel as it happened off the coast of southern Japan near Okinawa last December 4. And while many UFO sightings usually involve government and military conspiracies, this one strangely reports a very cooperative military. A supposed navy spokesperson named Yoshido Hari has been quoted saying that the navy released photographs to confirm the reports and that they will attempt to salvage the aircraft in one piece. Sounds almost too good to be true. And like in most cases, it is indeed (not true).

First of all, the picture supposedly released by the navy looks very similar to some Google Earth pictures which the Huffington Post has debunked as nothing more than camera lens flare. Secondly, many of the sources point to Nippon TV as the source of the news, and yet a thorough search of the Nippon TV website yields nothing related to the event. Lastly, the photos supposedly released by the Japanese navy is conspicuously nowhere to be found. This is yet another case of a (very poor) attempt at a UFO hoax. But maybe it was a much-needed light-hearted entertainment break from the tension of the upcoming [Japanese] elections.

What if the event was real, then the photo and inothernewz story were released so all other reports would be ridiculed and discredited?

Stranger things have happened and the disinfo machine has proven to be very effective at controlling the media.

you know what i see on this thread .... Doubt and the want for proof i mean i found the story credible to start with but then i wasnt so sure create a diversion ,make it sound silly do you remember the elenin theme playing out not long ago how many believed it was a spaceship which had altered its course twice then all the dis info happened it was a small comet it was broken up you didnt know what to think ?:confused::confused:

KiwiElf

Am open on that one too, Mutchie. Kerry Cassidy, Hoagland (and a few others) did bring up some interesting data about Elenin at the time, even if their predictions of the outcome(s) was off. Baby &/or the bathwater for me?... but not both.

As with so many situations, I wasn't actually there to witness it first hand - I've (we've) only got "some one else's" word for it and form our beliefs based on that info; true or not is another thing ;)

Strange Substance From Crashed UFO Blamed For Millions Of Dead Fish Off Okinawa

20101

A man wades through the sea of dead fish caused
by the chemicals oozing from the crashed UFO

OKINAWA, JAPAN- The very first troublesome sign of the UFO crash off the coast of Okinawa has finally arrived. Millions of dead fish, estimated at over fifty tons, have washed up along the shore of the Japanese island. Inothernewz.com snapped the above picture of an elderly man wading through the dead fish as they came onshore. Some of the dead fish showed signs of severe burns and bleeding through their eyes.

The Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihiko Noda, has signed an executive order restricting Japanese media from covering the UFO crash. Several news agencies based in the Pacific nation have quietly filed numerous protests with the Prime Minister’s office. They have yet to receive any comment as of this morning, Inothernewz.com has learned.

Inothernewz.com is one of the very few international news agencies covering this reported UFO crash and we have been able to cultivate a source deep inside the Japanese government who has direct knowledge of the proceedings off Okinawa. We spoke to him a short while ago regarding the dead fish washing up along the shore of the small island.

“I can confirm to you the dead fish appearing on Okinawa’s coast is a direct result of the UFO crash,” said the source. “We have scientists stationed on the JS Kurama, the vessel at sea responsible for bringing the spacecraft up to the surface, and they have informed the Prime Minister they believe a strange substance is oozing from the damaged ship and causing noxious fumes to rise to the surface. Not only is it killing any surrounding fish in the immediate vicinity but the fumes are making it difficult for the salvage crew aboard the ship to breath. The salvage operation has been halted for several hours due to this new development. The scientists fear a new and very dangerous alien chemical is infiltrating the seas and thus killing sea life.”

Meanwhile, back on Okinawa, several residents seemed astonished by the sight of millions of dead fish showing up on their ordinarily pristine shores.

“I would not have believed this had I not seen it with my own two eyes,” said Tsutomu Irabu, a 57 year old fisherman. “I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire life. The rotting smell is quite disorientating.”

“I’m afraid to touch one,” said Yamato Endo, an 18 year old student. “I believe them to have chemicals foreign to our planet. I don’t want to get infected.”

The source went on to say the scientists aboard the salvage vessel JS Kurama have expressed concern to the Prime Minister and the military officials responsible for the resurrection of the craft that there could very well be highly flammable substances on the UFO.

“One scientist believed the sea water would begin to boil as the UFO released the last of its unknown foreign substances into the water,” he said. “At this point it is conjecture as there is no such event occurring at the moment but the sight of several burnt fish is certainly disconcerting.”

Inothernewz.com asked the source when the Prime Minister would decide whether or not to let Japanese media outlets carry this important story on television or in print.

“The Japanese people have a right to know what has happened off their waters,” he said. “That is why I have come forward. Transparency is very important to me as a government official. I suspect it may not be so to the Prime Minister. I believe it will be a very long extended period of time before he will allow such a thing, if ever. I am saddened by this.”

“I’m quite certain there will be government representatives combing the Okinawa shoreline within the next few hours cleaning up the mess of dead fish,” he went on to say. “They will not leave any evidence of such an event as this UFO crash. They will deny everything. The Prime Minister was very angry at our Navy officials after the photo of the crashed UFO appeared on Inothernewz.com. He was quite livid. The Navy has received direct orders not to publish or make comment on this event without approval from the Prime Minister’s office.”
