They say it was smaller here.
That has been the biggest quake I have felt, normally I'm not scared of them, but this one had me running for a doorway! The floor in my room is warped and you can see where is rises now, it is not flat!
That one was a doozy!! I live in Hawkes Bay, which is just over an hour from Taupo, and not that close to Tokoroa, I can only imagine how it would have felt closer to the places they were centered!!
