I have to tell my very serendipitous, wow! moment that happened to me recently. A couple of weeks ago my betrothed and I were taking a Sunday drive, something we almost never do I might add. We were driving down a wide boulevard with very little traffic and Ellen was telling me a story and she did something she never does. At one particular spot in her story she needed to use the word that is used to describe a female dog, and she SPELLED it out B***h, like adults would when children are around. The second she uttered those words I immediately thought of my long gone Grandmother because she always did that in her two pack a day smoking voice. I hadnt thought about her for a long time and I was kind of filled with a sense of peace. At that same second I happened to glance at a street sign, the name of the street was Mary Louise. Grandma's name was Mary Louise. All of this took about three seconds, Ellen saying what she said, me thinking immediately of my Grandmother, and seeing the street sign with her name on it. It happened so quickly and so profoundedly emotional, I just really couldnt believe it had happened so coincedentally, but for one that doesnt think things happen coincedently I KNEW that my Grandma wanted me to know that she was there. I felt so at peace and loved at that moment I was suddenly filled with gratitude because the last couple of weeks were tough on me emotionally. I can say with absolute certainty that my Grandmother reached out to me from the beyond to tell me everything will be alright. That was my first experience with anything that I believed to be supernatural, and it really changed my thinking on the fact that our deceased loved ones are always with us. I know that I wrote a lot, but the experience that only took three seconds from begining to end is very hard for me to put into words. And anyone who took the time to read this, I am sorry it was so rambling, but has anyone else had an experience like mine?

enough, sometimes, worst of times/after valley of shadows and emotionally impactive too,
maybe our beingness opens up these portals, your gm energy having openned this,
well i've come to wonder whether presence between us beings are not what opens reality _from synchronicity to etc, etc

My Mom tapped me in the lower back the night she passed, from another state. I had thought it was my hubby, but he said no he didn't tap me. It was like when we would be waiting for washing machines in the laundrymat or crossing a street, and she would tap me to say, "lets go", and The next morning they called me and told me she had passed while sitting on the passengerside of her van locked in w/her last written plans for the next day on a note pad. Just reading her last words, was a blessing for me as I went through her last thoughts and stuff.
Tap me she did.

Awesome stories!! We lived next door to my paternal Grandparents so I was really close to them, especially my Grandma. When she died twenty years ago I took her good silverware and put them with my everyday set. I make it a point to grab one of her utensils each time I eat, therefore, thinking of her daily. The first time I felt her make contact it was a couple years after she died. I was in the middle of a group meditation. It was the third day of a juice fast and during the meditation all I could smell was chocolate cake. It made me think of my Grandmother's depression cake which I loved. I felt a very strong emotional connection to her. After the meditation I mentioned the chocolate cake smell to the rest of the group but none of the other 25ish people had smelt it.

YES! this has happened to me but not by a grandmother (both buggers are still alive! lol), other close people who passed like my mother...In some instances it happened quickly in multiples like wht u described...its the best feeling becuz at tht point it becomes pretty obvious something on the other side is getting ur attention. It has made me feel as if they were very close and in my space. Its awesome

Thank you christinedream7! That is exactly how I felt. Immediately. And I mean Immediately knew that something "out of the norm"was happening.

The universe lays it all out in front of us. It's up to us to recognize or take action. Great story, thanks for sharing! Oh what I'd give to hear from my granny. The good one....;)
