View Full Version : 12-21-12 last day of 3rd Dimension, what beer should I choose...

Wow, what if when we turn into crystaline beings, we no longer get beer to enjoy...
maybe we don't eat...
if you were planning a last supper, what would you have?
Lobster, Steak, Ribs... Tofu... ( Gak, no wonder you're looking forward to the hop... :))
I like a nice Amber Ale, Pizza... lunch on the 21st, if this is hitting us at 2, I want to get that one in...
what's happening, is we are traveling through the Universe at hundreds of thousands of Miles per hour, and we are moving into this air... it takes 2000 years to travel through this belt, it won't be done in a few days.
as we move into this thick air, our bodies are registering the resistance many are feeling vertigo, headaches, general disorientation.
these dark energy waves we've passed through could have just been the outer bands of the central belt, so far the sun is silent, but it should let us know as we are getting closer...
what me worried?
We're along for the ride, so what would you plan, for an awesome meal, your crystal tongue might not taste the following day...

anything from Victory (I preferred HopDevil) or Deschuttes (I like the Storm King Stout).
If you're on east coast, stop by Iron Hill Brewery
****oops! Storm king is victory (downingtown PA) too...I was thinking Black Butte porter (bend, OR). Forgive me, been 4+ years--hear they still good though)

It's not actually my first language but I speak it fairly fluently. I just noticed 13th Warrior's footer moto and decided to respond in kind. There aren't many of us around :) Look - he's pulled me up for linguistic errors already.

It's really good of the 'creator' to arrange for the big date to arrive just spot on perfect for the young Beaujolais of 2012.
Sainsbury's own brand is really magic this year. They sold out fast, but restocked and put the price up 50p. ( I think the first batch was a bit more special than the current stock, but it's still very good )

Alcohol is called spirits so we can take it with!
Would love a dark beer with hearty soup by a fireplace.

Corona with a few shots of Tequila...yeh baby.
Do you know where/why "Corona" got it's name? (what does Corona mean:suspicious:)
If so, then you know why beer snobs (*guilty*) avoid it generally.
now Tequila, I can agree with that:cool:

Now that's interesting - when exactly is this alignment supposed to take place ? Where exactly IS the centre of the galaxy ?
AS for beer - one of the few things I miss from home (Britain) a decent pint of Marston's Pedigree or My all time favourie, Greene King Abbott Ale would do wonders.
Alternatively, more refined and therefore slightly more in line with a spiritual event - a bottle of Verve Cliquot Vintage Champagne and a beautiful woman to share it with ;)

There is a beer in my list, honest! Most of you beer drinkers will probably chuckle at the wimpy choice though. This meal would be eaten over the course of several hours, with breaks to walk around, maybe play some live music, returning to "graze" whenever desired - absolutely no rush at all. And this would involve maybe a dozen good friends, and as many strangers - homeless folks, if I could round them up. All ingredients to be fair-trade and organically grown, to honor all the workers who grew it and to honor Mother Earth. )
Appetizers:
Appetiser #1: fresh, crunchy carrots and sweet red peppers, with hummus dip (extra garlic)
Appetizer #2: vegetable tempura - especially including squash, green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower. w/ tamari sauce
Appetizer #3: salsa fresca made with vine ripened, sweet tomatoes, firm red onion, fresh cilantro, and fresh garlic - served with a variety of veggie chips and blue corn chips
Appetizer #4: Slice of avocado atop a slice of jicama, splashed with lime juice, sprinkled with very finely minced jalapeño peppers, yellow onions, and mint
Side dishes:
Side dish #1: a 50/50 mix of red quinoa and hand-parched wild rice, with a chopped mixture of walnuts, pepitas, and apple juice sweetened dried cranberries, topped with a mixture of hemp seed and sesame seed, and a splash of tamari sauce
Side dish #2: Ginger-sh!take sauce marinated portabella mushroom strips, with fresh black pepper, grilled on an open flame
Side dish #3: Fresh Brussels sprouts, halved, pan-seared in olive oil, sprinkled with white pepper and lightly salted with Himalayan sea salt
Side dish #4: lightly steamed asparagus spears, (steamed with sage powder in the steaming water), drizzled with walnut oil and sprinkled with slivered almonds
Side dish #5: Mixture of matchstick cut root vegetables (including purple and red fleshed potatoes, rutabaga, yellow carrots, and beets) tossed with a light coating of grapeseed oil, fresh very finely chopped tarragon and basil, dash of cayenne pepper, and Himalayan sea salt - quick-cooked at 500°F to crispy, served with a small dollop of plain almond yoghurt sprinkled with fresh black pepper
Entrees:
Entree #1: Uttapam from Chowpatti restaurant in Arlington Heights (Chicago suburbs)
Entree #2: Handmade, thick crust pizza with cow cheese (this is the only non-vegan food I still would like to eat. I don't eat it, but if it was my last chance, I would.) Fresh chopped basil and oregano, sh!take mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, roasted garlic
Entree #3: (for Rocky_Shorz) Extra firm tofu, cut into square strips (like skinny french fries), frozen, thawed, dipped into a prepared mixture of ground flax seeds and water whipped together, dipped into a mixture of sesame seeds, hemp seeds, and finely chopped pistachios, quick-baked at high temperature, served drizzled with mole sauce and served with ground horseradish on the side
Entree #4: Tempeh Wellington: smoked tempeh, cashew-sunflower pate, sh!take and morrel mushroom paste, baked in a flaky crust - served with vegetarian brown gravy
Desserts:
Dessert #1: a big bowl of perfectly tree-ripened soft fruits: cherimoya, peach, mango, and guava - with a dash of ground cinnamon
Dessert #2: squash pie (like pumpkin, but more robust flavor), using kabocha squash, dusted with vanilla powder, served warm with a spoon of almond-milk based "ice cream"
Dessert #3: Pear cubes, strawberries, blueberries, and figs: skewered on thin bamboo skewers, served with thick, warm, melted, dark chocolate
Drinks:
fresh mango juice, pure spring water with lemon and lime juices, hot black coffee (medium roast), ginger-berry kombucha, "milk" shakes made with almond-milk based "ice cream", light summer ale with spruce tips (from a nearby microbrewery, the "Thirsty Pagan") [I hardly drink any alcoholic beverages, but that beer is a treat]
Cheers!

wow, you know how to lay out a spread of food...
putting into perspective that we are all traveling at 70,000 KPH this particle field should wash across all of us at pretty much the same time... 10PM London 5PM EST 2PM PST
We need to all meet here 30 minutes early to pop the corks and caps!!!
Since the Vatican Bishop is saying 3 days of Darkness, starting on Christmas will that mean on this side will be 3 days of light? why are the ones with an eye in the sky telling us the hunk of stone wheel calendar the Mayans found was actually 3-4 days off...
does that mean we should stop after the first one is empty, or plan on going straight through until jumping over the rainbow as we morph into crystal beings up to 7 days later?
the Mayan Week of Feast and Debauchery...
and don't forget a funny hat you can keep handy to put on if everyone starts tripping from the energy...
These sheep are going to come stumbling like they just finished a field of Mushrooms...
if one of your dinner guests starts sitting in a corner with his or her mouth hanging, nobody home, have some fun...
run in and put on your big green Gecko costume...

I often wonder why they skip the 4th and go right to the 5th, could we still have food and drink in the fourth? Most likely the same as music incredibly intensified, imagine if beer could taste any better... Hard to believe, but what if?
But nooo... we need to go straight to 5th, just more plots by the man to keep us from all enjoying beer...
It's time to stand up and revolt!!!
we can't make it 2000 years without tasting a beer!!! :help:

I had to take a look...
final message...
If we were to look at the timing of this, the Wayshower transformation, in terms of remaining 3D linear time, you would be looking at a couple days to a week or so, depending on WILL but also integration. Some will have an easier integration experience than others, and there should be no judgment in reference to this. Fear or worry will only slow down your transition process, so I would recommend letting go of all expectation except for that of a joyous Miracle, and instead fully engage yourself in the “Now” of this process.
What this means for your group (the PAT) is that the next 24-48 hours could very well begin to see some of you transitioning over to your new crystalline forms, while others follow the next day, and the next day, etc…leading to the mass window of transition/dissolution on 12:21. You should begin to notice small changes to your body, senses, perceptions, etc. over this short time of activation/transition, and these experiences will deepen and then peak with the donning of your crystalline form. The actual transition can occur at any time, day or night, but will probably happen for most during night, as it is easier and somewhat more comfortable for the human personality/body to completely fill and transition during this time...
Nanu Nanu... transitioning of humans is in process...
Shuzbutt, no more beer...

9 days to go...
wow, 12:12 on 12/12/12 and just finished watching it....
Over the past few months I have put out a few videos evaluating the 2012 date and certain planetary conjunctions associated with it, but I wanted to say to people that we do not know for certain if anything dramatic will happen on the day in question. My latest video is done hopefully to reassure people of this:

Wow, what if when we turn into crystaline beings.
That is just a new age belief system
Water + DNA acts as a crystal ,so we can not turn in to one if we already are.
Speaking of....I was reading on the site of Georgi Stankov, who is a New Age writer, and saw that him and his group, the PAT (Planetary Activation Team) was preparing to be ascending on 12/12/12 (which according to my clock, is yesterday now.) He said all signs point to him and his group ascending and taking on their crystalline bodies. It's possible I suppose, right? I can't wait to read the next update on his blog to see what became of them.....or didn't. Would anyone like to place bets?

I'm not sure if you understand everything going on in this thread is for humor and laughter...
all the famous Guru's have explained what's coming, so we're going to kick back and talk about them satirically for the next 8 Days...
earthquakes, Tsunamis, comet showers, torrential rains, Universal alignment with the central Sun and several galaxies, along with our planets, we'll even be joking when the apocalypsers are apocalypsing
there are tons of serious threads, let's keep this one light...
so the really important question is,
do we really need to worry about light beer with a week to go?
uh oh, what happens when we turn into Crystal, does that mean our beer bellies will be there for 2000 years?

Like a scene from the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," hundreds of people are being drawn to a uniquely formed mountain peak in the Carpathian Mountains hoping that its magnetic force will save them from a coming apocalypse.
The pyramid shaped peak, the legend goes, was created by aliens many thousands of years ago.
"We all know that aliens have been there for thousands of years," says Vladimir Petrovic, the editor of a Belgrade-based publishing company specializing in esoteric literature. "They may be the forces who will help us get through this time."
The end of the world, according to the Mayan calendar, is scheduled for nine days from now on Dec. 21.
Their theory is that Mt Rtanj's pyramidal structure which rises 5,400 feet (1.656 meters) in the Serbian Carpathian Mountains was shaped by aliens many thousands of years ago, and that it will radiate a force field that will protect everyone in its vicinity from the end-of-the-world disaster.
The legend has drawn hundreds from the region as well as Austrians, French as well as Australians. http://abcnews.go.com/International/apocalypse-believers-flock-pyramid-shaped-mountain-peak/story?id=17960120#.UMoTqndkeM8

Poor choice of words on my part, I should have said "purists"... Corona means crown in Spanish (though I often think it has something to do with the sun, my own fantasy I'm sure) & is a beer with a purposely introduced fault : Sun exposure; to beer purists this is one of the things STRONGLY avoided as it dramatically changes the taste of the beverage (this is why Corona is one of the only beers with a clear bottle & most other bottles are a dark brown or green) it definitely gives this Pale Lager a distinct taste (I like to refer to it as "cardboard-ish" haha) I work with a "master brewer" and have come to respect the art of the Barley & hop brew ;).

that is the weirdest tasting beer I've ever had... Strong, but its name describes its flavor
I had one that tasted like it but was 28% from one of the German Missions, no wonder Monks can't talk...
I'm buzzing without anything lately as this energy is growing, I guess strong would rate 2nd to flavor for the last in 2000 years...

When I was at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida in the early 1970's, the owner of a local Lum's Hot Dog restaurant on Dale Mabry Hwy, just north of the base, was the son of a local crime syndicate boss. The dad apparently liked Carlsberg beer, so he had it brought in fresh, on draught, from Denmark. This was the real brew, not the usual export variety that is pasteurized. The hot dogs at his son's restaurant were not too bad, but the beer was awesome.

True also of Thai Singha Beer (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/367/976). Purchased locally, it's quite enjoyable, so long as the bar tender is honest, or you can read Thai date codes and keep him honest, for one wants it less than a few weeks past brewing, and kept cool most of that time.
Purchased in glass bottles in the States, it has an extended shelf life, and tastes rather sterile, which I suppose makes sense given that it no doubt pasteurized for export.

That Poem deserves to be up here, an 'Ode to Beer':
Hymn to Ninkasi
Borne of the flowing water,
Tenderly cared for by the Ninhursag,
Borne of the flowing water,
Tenderly cared for by the Ninhursag,
Having founded your town by the sacred lake,
She finished its great walls for you,
Ninkasi, having founded your town by the sacred lake,
She finished it's walls for you,
Your father is Enki, Lord Nidimmud,
Your mother is Ninti, the queen of the sacred lake.
Ninkasi, your father is Enki, Lord Nidimmud,
Your mother is Ninti, the queen of the sacred lake.
You are the one who handles the dough [and] with a big shovel,
Mixing in a pit, the bappir with sweet aromatics,
Ninkasi, you are the one who handles the dough [and] with a big shovel,
Mixing in a pit, the bappir with [date] - honey,
You are the one who bakes the bappir in the big oven,
Puts in order the piles of hulled grains,
Ninkasi, you are the one who bakes the bappir in the big oven,
Puts in order the piles of hulled grains,
You are the one who waters the malt set on the ground,
The noble dogs keep away even the potentates,
Ninkasi, you are the one who waters the malt set on the ground,
The noble dogs keep away even the potentates,
You are the one who soaks the malt in a jar,
The waves rise, the waves fall.
Ninkasi, you are the one who soaks the malt in a jar,
The waves rise, the waves fall.
You are the one who spreads the cooked mash on large reed mats,
Coolness overcomes,
Ninkasi, you are the one who spreads the cooked mash on large reed mats,
Coolness overcomes,
You are the one who holds with both hands the great sweet wort,
Brewing [it] with honey [and] wine
(You the sweet wort to the vessel)
Ninkasi, (...)(You the sweet wort to the vessel)
The filtering vat, which makes a pleasant sound,
You place appropriately on a large collector vat.
Ninkasi, the filtering vat, which makes a pleasant sound,
You place appropriately on a large collector vat.
When you pour out the filtered beer of the collector vat,
It is [like] the onrush of Tigris and Euphrates.
Ninkasi, you are the one who pours out the filtered beer of the collector vat,
It is [like] the onrush of Tigris and Euphrates.

Glass Harp (wiki)
For the band, see Glass Harp (band) or for the similar instrument, see Glass harmonica.
A glass harp (also called musical glasses, singing glasses, angelic organ, verrilion or ghost fiddle) is an instrument made of upright wine glasses.
It is played by running moistened or chalked fingers around the rim of the glasses. Each glass is tuned to a different pitch, either by grinding each goblet to the specified pitch, in which case the tuning is permanent, or by filling the glass with water until the desired pitch is achieved.

[edit] HistoryThe glass harp was created in 1741 by Irishman Richard Pockrich, who is known as the first virtuoso of the musical glasses.[citation needed]
The composer Christoph Willibald Gluck played the musical glasses. He performed in London and Copenhagen. His instrument consisted of 26 goblets.[citation needed]
The instrument was popular in the 18th century. Pockrich's contemporary, Ford, published Instructions for the Playing of the Musical Glasses while Bartl published a German version.[1]
[edit] Contemporary usesOn February 18, 1979, Gloria Parker performed as a musical glasses soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra at the Jai Alai Fronton in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Richard Hayman, noted for his arrangements for Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler, was the guest conductor for the 90-piece orchestra that accompanied the musical glasses which included songs such as Lara's Theme from the movie Dr. Zhivago, Lover and Amor.
There are several current musicians who professionally play the glass harp. Among them are the Glass Duo from Poland, Clemens Hofinger in Germany, France's Jean Chatillion and Thomas Bloch, Brien Engel, and Dennis James in the United States and Canada's Real Berthiaume. Glasses have been also used by famous rock band Pink Floyd during the recording of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" on their Wish You Were Here album, recorded and released in 1975.[2] Igor Sklyarov played the glass harp on the same song during two 2006 concerts recorded in Venice, Italy by former guitarist David Gilmour.[3] Gilmour also used the effect during his August 26, 2006 concert in Gdańsk, Poland, with the help of Guy Pratt, Phil Manzanera and Dick Parry.[4] Both recordings are available on Gilmour's Live in Gdańsk CD, although the Venice recording is only available on the 5-disc version of the album or as an internet download with the 3- and 4-disc versions.
A Toast To Christmas with the Singing Glasses is an album recorded and released in 1980, composed and performed by Gloria Parker. Fourteen well-known carols are performed with the glass harp producing flute-like sounds on crystal glasses, marking the first commercial album to use glasses as a musical instrument.

(Find this and more at http://www.williamzeitler.com) Composer and musician William Zeitler performs his original 'Our Last Transit of Venus' for Glass Armonica and Orchestra. William composed the piece especially for the occasion of the Transit of Venus 2012.
Interesting to note is that the Glass Armonica was invented by Benjamin Franklin in 1761 which was also a year of a Transit of Venus!

I tried a new beer today -- I'm an Innis and Gun fan so "theme" or "styled" beers are no stranger to my palette.
I picked up a four pack of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. North American, from Kentucky obviously. They weren't chilled, and I think this was a hint. I drank the first one just slightly cooled and it tasted really nice like that, then I tried one with full chilling and I found it was less "full bodied" and had a hint of metallic at that temp. I think this is one of few beers that tastes better if not too chilled. ~12C would be my guess for best temp.
Aged in Oak Bourbon barrels, it has hints of vanilla, slightly fruity, not too much hops, and a very slight bourbon finish. and is very smooth and full on the tongue (if not too chilled).
It is a strong beer, 8.2% in alcohol, yet at the same time has no alcohol "taste"; just a slight warmth to it which compliments the Bourbon notes. Highly recommended!

tried the Mayan Apocalypse, special brew, 13.5%
so smooth, little chocolately...
and it fixed the Vertigo problem...
whoa, just heard tragic news for wine drinkers...
the world is running out of cork...
This is what Mayans were predicting, the world is going to end without corks...
these will be collector bottles over the next few years, last corks, and new alternatives...
have to add a wine cellar to the underground bunker... ;)
