Found this and thought it was worth posting.


A work crew uncovers a secret room hidden beneath the Statue of Liberty.

Wonder what’s it was used for or what will they might find? They think it was used as a powder storage room.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put Lady Liberty aka Semiramis on an ancient site. They like doing those sorts of things.

Who knows, it might even lead to the underground catacombs/railways beneath the city.

Could also be a magazine, a bomb proof (shelter for the garrison) or anything else typical of a nineteenth century fort.
