The Hill newspaper reportes that nearly a dozen newly elected members of Congress have already set Super PACs and these legislators have not even been sworn into office yet. It will happen next month but they already have Super PACS in place to raise money. RT's Liz Wahl breaks it down.

Bob Ryan, a top housing advisor for the Obama administration, has just announced that he was leaving to take a senior position at Wells Fargo which was investigated and sued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where the official currently works. RT's Liz Wahl explains.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac staff cashing in on housing crisis

It's been four years since the US government took over the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac who buy mortgages from lenders and package them into mortgage-backed securities. A new report has been released by the inspector's general office for the federal housing finance agency showing that since 2008 taxpayers have spent 190 billion dollars on the companies. This is despite the decision made earlier this year to cap pay for executives at Fannie and Freddie Anthony Randazzo of the Reason Foundation joins RT's Kristine Frazao to discuss what's going on.

The Keystone XL pipeline has received a lot of attention due to the potential environmental impact the project could have on land across America. TransCanada, the company behind the construction is now being accused of lying to land owners. Land owners are claiming the firm said crude oil would be transported through the pipes and not nearly solid product extracted from tar sands and now Michael Bishop, one of the land owners, has filed a lawsuit against the oil giant. A judge has halted construction of the pipeline on Bishops property and Greg Palast an investigative journalist gives us his take on the never ending controversy.
