today i have totally wierd experience, don't know what to say but straight after i said to my self What the f was that?

i was at shopping centre while waiting so i decide go to the book store just looking for some book on anything on what people in here talked about. as i walk pass this old man he stand up put a book about afterlife back on the self we both look at each other and started to talk.

i don't know if his English or have speech problem but just damn hard to understand, sound like struggling to get the word across. as we continue he do this figure gesture come closer i have this totally strange feeling about him something not normal about him, as i come closer to him look in his face i lost focus of surroundings that everything just pass and zoom into him abit like the matrix or in movies where everything is blury or a quick flash but the one put in focus in very clear. he talk soft very quite voice which i only remember "When you Die..." and now looking back i find him like two different person one is the guy who struggling getting words across while other who can talk getting words across well.

he said that he have been in past life and some story about a child having NDE seen beauty on other side and come back. he showed me few stuff off this book http://www.amazon.com/Journey-Souls-Studies-Between-Lives/dp/1567184855/ref=cm_lmf_tit_3 . i must admit never actually read these kind of book but this will be my first time getting them and read them.

don't know who is he but it was weird experience, i don't know to to describe it but closest i can tell of my feeling is like an entrance of the matrix which surrounding is lost in focus and quick pass by of surrounding. i need to snap my self out of it for a minute and feel normal again.

Everyone recieves signs. I like this snippet from Jules in Pulp Fiction when talking about why the bullets missed them.

In 2005, I had a series of freak occurances, and there seemed to be a message for me there.
On a clear beautifull night, I recieved the strongest vibe, to sit on a public bench facing a particular direction, and wait. In about 20 mintues, a woman showed up. She was an older woman about 60, she sat about 50 feet away from me.
Our gaze met, she motioned for me.
This was wierd.
I started talking to her and she told me she was here in town to participate in a spiritual workshop of some sorts.
We started comparing sources and authors that had influenced us.
.
.
After we talked for an hour, I asked her if she would like to get something to eat.
She agreed.
During our conversation she told me she was dying.
She told me about how she had been told she had a year to live, cancer.
She had sold her house and she was driving the country going to various spiritual seminars.
She was living in the moment. She was living in the now.
After dinner, I felt it was important to give her something to commemorate the encounter.
The only thing that felt right, was the necklace I was wearing.
The necklace was of the hindu god Kali.
That may sound macabre, but, Kali is a powerfull metaphor for me.
In Hindu lore, the mother universe was under attack by an unstopable demon.
The mother universe turned to Kali for help.
This demon was like the hydra from the greek hercules story.
With each blow the demon recieved, a new demon would grow from the blood spilt.
So, Kali, after each blow, licked the blood from the demon, thus preventing the rebirth of new demons. And in so doing, saved the mother universe from the unstopable demon.
The metaphor here is when trying to meditate, each thought you dispell in an attempt to have a still mind,,spawns new thoughts. And as strange as this sounds I heard once that invoking Kali to silence those self replicating thoughts, works to silence them, I tried it, and it worked.
But, this isn't what it meant for Cathy, the woman I had met.
For her, this was a symbol of death and rebirth.
And this is what I told her as I gave it to her.
She took the necklace with both hands and began crying.
She thanked me repeatedly and I held her while she cried on my shoulder.

.
That was the first and last time I ever saw Cathy.
About two weeks later I got two books in the mail.
One of which was Drunvello Melchezideks "Flower of Life".

Perhaps not my weirdest experience, but it makes a good story to tell around the campfire:

My family has owned a factory building for 80 years. According to at least two employees (probably more, but they were too timid to tell the boss this) , one area was "haunted." I also passed through that area with a few strangers who could not have known this lore, and when they got to that area they would make an observation about the "activity" there. In general, I was told that the energies there were positive, and that the area was a "vortex" or "gathering place".

The building would experience a break-in about every 2 or 3 years, and a few weeks after one such occasion, I found the intruder left a shopping bag beside a staircase. Inside was a candle, lighter, bottle of holy water, rosary bead (which I now use) and a new Parker Brother's OUIJA board. At first I thought an employee "R." who had the keys to the building left it there, but when I confronted him, he convinced me it wasn't him and realized it was from the break in.

R. also had an interest in the building and the spirit world, and had been leaving recording devices in that area to determine what was happening. Then R. experienced a lot of strange things in his home (daughters seeing a little girl out of the corner of their eye, dog barking at certain places, a feeling of general anxiety). By showing the spirit world they had a listening audience, they followed R. to his home. Two house clearings were performed and things got better, but he is still convinced "something" is there.

Over a year after the break-in, R's daughter "M." goes out to a buffet restaurant and over hears a conversation at the next table. A tall, dark "weird-looking" guy is sitting at the next table, telling someone about how he broke into a building to do a Ouija board reading, saw the police outside and ran out the back window but left his dear OUIJA board behind. M. didn't know about the break-in and told her father the story who grilled her about some of the details and low and behold, they matched the probable scenario in my building. And then R. relayed the story to me. I started to try an calculate the odds of this story getting back to me and just decided to chalk it up to synchronicity.

My young sister used to play albums and dance in front of the mirror in her room. One evening she came rushing into the living room, all flustered and out of breath. She said someone kept whistling at her while she danced. The curtains were closed tightly, so no one could see in from outside. She said it got louder and louder. We went into the room, myself and my mom. Everything seemed ok and mom told her not to worry. Sister goes back to the room and screams. We go running in and see all eight dresser and chest drawers all pulled out, barely hanging on. No way my sister could have done this in the few short seconds we were apart. The look on her face told us the same thing. Her whistling 'ghost' had pranked her good! I may have pee'd a little myself. We all slept in the living room that night. ;)

These type of incidents interest me to no end. I always like to inquire further into specifics if you will in these cases.
I had an incident kind of like this when I was young.
I had an incident in a building where all the tenants were in agreement that it was haunted, I myself watched a plate of food slide two feet on a completely flat stable surface and flip into the air.
This on the heels of my thinking in my mind "wouldn't it be weird if a ghost read my mind and proved it by flipping my dinner off the table". :behindsofa:

Now here comes the weird part. I fully believe in ghosts, but I don't think they can move solid objects.
I think that there are other phenomenon at play in these instances and here is where I would call upon what folks refer to as high strangeness.
In this same building I had a dream that was as real as anything I've ever seen in my life, I was 8, and I can remember it like it happened yesterday.
I was shown an alien invasion where the earth was taken over and marshal law was implemented.

What if what happened with the food on the table was an entitiy reading my mind from afar.
Richard Shaver talked about this kind of stuff all the time back in the 40's.
Pockets of technologically advanced beings living under ground, and low and behold if you happen to live within their immediate area you experience weird things.
Just speculating. :couch2:

great stories, all.

this just happened to me 2 nights ago: i was dreaming, having a nightmare. the dream was so twisted and sadistic and sick that i will not repeat it here. in the backround of this dream i heard a maniacal laughter, a malevolent cackling that sounded miles away. it slowly became more apparent as i awoke, and when i was fully conscious i realized it was coming out of my clock radio. i turned the radio off and hit the light. sat up in my bed, disturbed. what the f#ck?

a minute passed before i got my bearings straight. i turned my clock radio back on, curious to see what program was on, hoping whatever it was could explain the disturbing laughter. i only got interference. pure fuzz. this intrigued and disturbed me, as i never touched the dial...only turned the thing off. i haven't the slightest clue what actually happened that night.

One of the many a d perhaps most vivid in my mind is a healing session i did for a man in a rehab program i work with.

This man was under amazing stress and came to have a multiverse session with me. During the session he was sitting on the floor with his dog and i was on my chair talking to him and taking notes.

During this conversation i heard a deep voice say something like " Oye ee " i didnt break attention with my patient as these things happen whilst in session all the time.

I then saw a huge, what id describe as a folding fan,,of white light energy enter the entire room and it scanned us. It came down, as it passed my ears it made a deep buzzing noise, then back up again. I was not letting on of the happening to my client, this would have caused him to have anxiety so i just observed.

Then what happened was i saw everything being outlined with a purple hexagon, like looking through a filter of many small hexagons linked together. I was blinking and noticing the minute colour changes in the hexagons as my patient talked and played with his dog.

Then a small probe, like a little box came driving into the room between us, it made weird noises. It drove past my feet and behind me then dissapeared. It had a marking on the side like an extended letter E.

Then i saw a very tall creature with a back pack of sorts walk slowly out of the room, he walked slowly and was dressed in a bright yellow and green fluorescent jump suit it seemed. The purple hexagons changed from pink to purple as the patient spoke to me. This whole thing lasted about say 5 - 7 minutes.

All the while i was trying not to break charachter, keeping note of my patient and trying to enjoy the amazing experience and learn from it.

This is one of my experiences. I have had dozens of these similar and some even stranger.

weird thing happened to me as well, i was on Avalon forum, reading thread about "the weirdest experiences", and some weird thoughts came up.... :)

let me set the definitions first:

weird - involving or suggesting the supernatural; fantastic; bizarre;
supernatural - of, pertaining to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainable by natural law or phenomena; abnormal.
fantastic - conceived or appearing as if conceived by an unrestrained imagination; odd and remarkable; bizarre; grotesque: fantastic rock formations; fantastic designs.
bizarre - markedly unusual in appearance, style, or general character and often involving incongruous or unexpected elements; outrageously or whimsically strange;

vs normal - conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural; serving to establish a standard.

there is one word that is synonymous with weird - MIRACLE - an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

now with the above in mind, who defines what's normal and what's weird? yes, me. :)

EDIT EINSTEIN: "There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is weird. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

I have noted my motivation for studying some phenomenon changes dramatically, if I label it normal vs labeling it weird... if I say, what happened is normal, I automatically move on to other, more weird things....if I label something weird, I say: "hmm, this is weird..." and I usually focus my attention trying to figure the weirdness out, eventually labeling it as normal and moving on...so the knowledge about a subject, is what is shaping the horse-power of my curiosity towards it

if everything is normal, life is boring routine, if everything is a miracle, every day is exciting!

quest for knowledge, is a quest to label everything normal (based on above logic), without knowledge - everything is a miracle and exciting!
Look at kids, they are not depressed about the world, they move from one exciting thing to another!! they enjoy, they play, they laugh....

weird thoughts indeed... sorry for slight deviation from normality of this thread, lately I try to do a check my core principles, I have always been on a quest for knowledge, and lately i question everything, including my core beliefs (noun belief, confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof)

Cheers
:)

Were they like a dark outline of a faceless human? like you can only get a glimpse of them? Then they are gone
