No further legal action will be taken in Britain against the computer hacker Gary McKinnon, the police and Crown Prosecution Service have announced.

The decision comes three months after the government moved to block his extradition to the United States (video) on human rights grounds.

A joint panel of the police and the CPS advised there should be no attempt to launch a new criminal investigation into McKinnon – accused in an American court of committing "the biggest military computer hack of all time" – and that advice has been accepted.

McKinnon's mother, Janis Sharp, said: "I feel fantastic, it's just wonderful. The next thing I would like to get, impossible though it seems, would be a pardon from President Obama.

What a relief to see this case is finally over, unless Gary McKinnon makes the mistake of going to another country where the U.S.A. can arrange to have him detained and extradited.

I don't think this case is truly over until the Pentagon and NASA send McKinnon a "Thank-You" note for pointing out the very obvious security vulnerabilities in their systems.

This is great news for the man who made us aware of our secret space program. I applaud him and am happy for him....

Now if Pvt. Manning had a similar miracle....

I'm delighted for him and his mum. 10 years later. It must have been hell.

This is truly good news and gives me some faith in the judicial process of the UK.
That said, I find I will also have to second 'shadowstalker's sentiments. There are many ways to have Gary shut up - permanently.
Best thoughts for him and his mom!

Well lets all hope and pray that maybe they have finally figured out that it is finally time to start letting the kitten out of the bag as far as disclosure goes.

This is weird, I haven't had a chance to try to verify it yet, but I was listening to the No Agenda Show yesterday, and Adam made a comment that Putin's sidekick Mednedev (sp) was at some meeting a few days ago bitching & moaning about how he's always late (once the official interview was over). Then apparently he went on to talk about ET's, and how Russia was tired of waiting for America to disclose, so they were planning to!!! I was listening to it live, so I didn't have a chance to stop and rewind to listen to it again. Now, in light of this I just might take the time. The funny thing is, that Adam seemed to think this had been reported quite a bit in Europe, but nada in the US.

It is up on the main page right now, but for future reference it is show 469. The donation segment is particularly long this time so you can just fast forward through those if you wish.

This is what the Reuters article says:

ALIENS AMONG US?

Another of the journalists asked whether the president is handed secret files on aliens when receiving the briefcase needed to activate Russia's nuclear arsenal.

"Along with the briefcase with nuclear codes, the president of the country is given a special 'top secret' folder. This folder in its entirety contains information about aliens who visited our planet," Medvedev answered playfully.

"Along with this, you are given a report of the absolutely secret special service that exercises control over aliens on the territory of our country ... More detailed information on this topic you can get from a well-known movie called 'Men In Black' ... I will not tell you how many of them are among us because it may cause panic," he says.

None of the television stations that interviewed Medvedev broadcast the off-air comments, but they were delivered to Reuters as a pool signal and some were shown on YouTube.

So Medvedey's remarks can be interpreted as jokes, which isn't going to be a good playing card for Disclosure.

I think we should all applaud for 5 minutes straight, I agree it could be a little too good(?) But because of the uproar
created in the public arena, David Gilmour even getting behind Gary, the Home Sec would have looked like a Butcher
if they had allowed the extradition-I sent them two letters criticizing the charges, and i think i was one of many thousands.
Good Job.
