NEWTOWN, Conn. — At least 27 people were killed, including an unconfirmed number of children, in a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., on Friday, according to reports from Reuters and The Associated Press. If confirmed, it would be one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. It comes after a series of shooting rampages in the United States this year that have killed multiple victims.

An entire classroom of students remains unaccounted for, according to a report by The Hartford Courant.

The suspected shooter, the father of a student there, was also killed, CBS News reported. The principal and school psychologist were among the dead, CNN said.

"It was horrendous," said parent Brenda Lebinski, who rushed to the school where her daughter is in the third grade. "Everyone was in hysterics - parents, students. There were kids coming out of the school bloodied. I don't know if they were shot, but they were bloodied."

Television images showed police and ambulances at the scene, and parents rushing toward the school. Parents were seen reuniting with their children and taking them home.

An official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is still under way told the Associated Press the gunman apparently had two guns. The school district remains on lockdown as police investigate the shootings. There are unconfirmed reports of two shooters, according to a local newspaper.

President Barack Obama has been notified about the shooting and will receive regular updates throughout the day, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Friday.

Carney called the event "tragic" and said there would be time later for a discussion of policy implications.

Obama remains committed to trying to renew a ban on assault weapons, Carney said.

Some students were reportedly being treated for trauma. A dispatcher at the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps said a teacher has been shot in the foot and taken to Danbury Hospital. Dr. Patrick Broderick said the hospital had treated only three patients from the shooting scene. The hospital is on lockdown to protect the privacy of victims and to allow staff to do their work unreported.

The school superintendent's office says the district has locked down schools as a preventive measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.





State police spokesman Lt. Paul Vance says they have a number of personnel on the scene to assist.

Police said a shooter was in the main office of the school shortly after 9:40 a.m.

Groups of students — some crying, some holding hands — were being escorted away from the school by their teachers, the Courant reported.

A staging area has been set up for students and their parents near the school.

The district is made up of four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.

Newtown, with a population of 27,000, is in northern Fairfield County, about 45 miles southwest of Hartford and 80 miles northeast of New York City.

Danbury Hospital, about 11 miles (18 km) west of the school, had received three patients from the scene, a hospital spokeswoman told NBC Connecticut. The mayor of Danbury, Mark Boughton, told MSNBC: "They are very serious injuries."

A girl interviewed by NBC Connecticut described hearing seven loud "booms" as she was in gym class. Other children began crying and teachers moved the students to a nearby office, she said.

"A police officer came in and told us to run outside and so we did," the unidentified girl said on camera.

One child was carried from Sandy Hook Elementary School by a police officer, and the child appeared to have been wounded, the town's weekly newspaper, the Newtown Bee, said on its website.

Connecticut State Police said its officers were at the scene with local police but provided no additional details. The emergency call to police occurred at 9:41 a.m., state police said.

An individual answering the phone at the Newtown Police Department declined to comment.

The United States has experienced a number of mass shooting rampages this year, most recently in Oregon, where a gunman opened fire at a shopping mall on Tuesday, killing two people and then himself.

The deadliest attack came in July at a midnight screening of a Batman film in Colorado that killed 12 people and wounded 58.

Let us all focus on healing of the hearts so sadly hurt by loss. This young parent at an elementary school, bringing two guns and killing a principle(authority figure) and a phychiatrist(who knows what they told him about his child) but we do know the 21 year old parent settled an argument with guns.

He should have never been a parent. Now unless the phych discovered injury to his child as a possiblity and told him they were going to keep the child under protective services, this may have triggered this parent. There are just so many unanswered questions that need to be asked. One problem is the only one to tell what set him off is now gone from this world dimension.
Why do they always harm children? So sad, and we can't possibly have this type of violent behavior unaddressed that is able to get guns. Is the parent a returning war vet w/PTSD?

why in the world, does a judge take a child away from a parent. Wouldn't it make more sense to take the parent away from the child for observation?

if a man is considered too dangerous to be around their own child, isn't that a red flag, a call for help?

It will be interesting to see how the story of the shooter will be played out and sensationalized in the media over the next few days. I think that most of those who follow Projects Avalon and Camelot know how these incidents are often false flag attacks and the gun shooters (James Holmes, Andre Brevik) are probably victims of mind control.

As far as mind controlling us, the Powers that Be are getting just the results they are looking for. The comments I am seeing:

Oh they are being reformed all right, just about any show of emotion is now deemed a mental dysfunction that should be treated with drugs.

There is no way that the mental health system can work how it really should because that would immediately undermine the control mechanism, which relies on most people having no idea how the human mind works, especially how easily it can be programmed.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official said the suspect is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the source was not authorized to speak on the record about the developing criminal investigation.

According to the official, the suspect drove to the scene of the shootings in his mother's car. Three guns were found at the scene — a Glock and a Sig Sauer, both pistols — and a .223-caliber rifle. The rifle was recovered from the back of a car at the school. The two pistols were recovered from inside the school.

The dead included 20 children and six adults. The gunman was also dead.

President Barack Obama held a news conference in Washington this afternoon. "They had their entire lives ahead of them," Obama said. The president ordered flags flown at half staff.

The shooting appeared to be the nation's second-deadliest school shooting, exceeded only by the Virginia Tech massacre in 2007.
There were unconfirmed reports of a second shooter after witnesses reported hearing dozens of shots fired.

Sandy Hook Elementary School teaches children from kindergarten through fourth grade, roughly ages 5 to 10.

Stephen Delgiadice said his 8-year-old daughter heard two big bangs and teachers told her to get in a corner. His daughter was fine.

“It's alarming, especially in Newtown, Connecticut, which we always thought was the safest place in America,” he said.

The superintendent's office said the district had locked down schools in Newtown, about 60 miles northeast of New York City. Schools in neighboring towns also were locked down as a precaution.

Mergim Bajraliu, 17, heard the gunshots echo from his home and raced to check on his 9-year-old sister at the school. He said his sister, who was fine, heard a scream come over the intercom at one point. He said teachers were shaking and crying as they came out of the building.

“Everyone was just traumatized,” he said.

Such a sad event. Many blessings and healing sent to those families affected directly, and also to the US and the rest of the world, who will continue to feel the reverberations of this event for some time to come.

IF this is a Monarch ritual, it shows the desperation and desire to bring down the vibration as much as possible.

The timing of this is not coincidental. The MSM machine is just gearing up today. Energetically, this will be on the news for the next week or two. There will be retrospectives, concentration upon the classroom of missing kindergartners, the parents, specials about the other school shootings, Columbine, psychologists and pundits, national mourning.

The energy of this time is one of renewal, the mass media will be focusing upon the children and death, the most sacred lives of a culture, taken too early. Parents will grieve and fear, grandparents, other children. When people should be focusing upon their internal work, positive thoughts and moving through their own personal dramas they will be distracted by an event such as this, designed by killers to lower the vibration of all who partake of the mainstream media as much as possible. Keep people in a state of sadness and fear.

I suppose we in the West are too inured to war. Hearing about deaths in countries that don't share our culture won't do it anymore. But an event like this touches everyone somewhere, as we're all children, brothers, sisters, parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents.

For the children sacrificed, we should reinforce our resolve to raise the vibration and the light, to not let the MSM dictate the energy of these days and to continue on the path - for those who walk it - toward becoming that started for many of us so long ago and that is culminating in these times. Be blessed. We are all entangled, intertwined, and we are all a part of this story and its emotion as we are involved in learning about it and keeping updated. We must not give this event more power by allowing our vibrations to lower to the level desired.

This is very sad indeed. How many have there been recently? Seems like a lot more than ever before. The trauma experienced by the people involved is hard to imagine. The negative energy that comes from something like this.
In regards to whether this is mind control I would be inclined to treat every event like this as suspicious. Regarding the agenda of removing guns from the citizens of USA, then have a look at this post from a friend of a friend on facebook.

Such a sad event. Many blessings and healing sent to those families affected directly, and also to the US and the rest of the world, who will continue to feel the reverberations of this event for some time to come.

IF this is a Monarch ritual, it shows the desperation and desire to bring down the vibration as much as possible.

The timing of this is not coincidental. The MSM machine is just gearing up today. Energetically, this will be on the news for the next week or two. There will be retrospectives, concentration upon the classroom of missing kindergartners, the parents, specials about the other school shootings, Columbine, psychologists and pundits, national mourning.

The energy of this time is one of renewal, the mass media will be focusing upon the children and death, the most sacred lives of a culture, taken too early. Keep people in a state of sadness and fear.

I suppose we in the West are too inured to war. Hearing about deaths in countries that don't share our culture won't do it anymore. But an event like this touches everyone somewhere, as we're all children, brothers, sisters, parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents.

For the children sacrificed, we should reinforce our resolve to raise the vibration and the light, to not let the MSM dictate the energy of these days and to continue on the path - for those who walk it - toward becoming that started for many of us so long ago and that is culminating in these times. Be blessed. We are all entangled, intertwined, and we are all a part of this story and its emotion as we are involved in learning about it and keeping updated. We must not give this event more power by allowing our vibrations to lower to the level desired.

Twenty children and six adults have been killed in a shooting attack at a primary school in the US state of Connecticut, police say.

Lt Paul Vance said the gunman was also dead, but did not identify him.

However, officials told US media the killer at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, was a 20-year-old son of a teacher at the school.

Newtown is now one of the worst school shootings in US history, after 32 died at Virginia Tech in 2007.

Early reports named 24-year-old Ryan Lanza as the gunman, but anonymous officials later said his brother Adam, 20, was the suspect.

Obama: 'Heal the broken hearted'

Ryan Lanza was being questioned by police, the Associated Press and New York Times reported.

Lt Vance said 18 children were pronounced dead at the school, and two died after they were taken to hospital. Six adults were also killed. The gunman died at the scene.

According to US reports, the gunman's mother was a teacher found among the dead at the school.

One person was also injured, and police were investigating a "secondary" crime scene, where another victim was found dead, Lt Vance said.

He gave no details, but said New Jersey police were providing assistance

Dressed in black and wearing a bullet-proof vest, the gunman is thought to have had several weapons at the school, although it is not clear whether he used more than one.

The attack took place in two rooms within a single section of the school, police have said.

Night has fallen in Newtown, and school officials announced that a memorial service would take place at 19:00 EST (00:00 GMT).

With all the carnage from gun violence in our country, it’s still almost impossible to believe that a mass shooting in a kindergarten class could happen. It has come to that. Not even kindergarteners learning their A,B,Cs are safe. We heard after Columbine that it was too soon to talk about gun laws. We heard it after Virginia Tech. After Tucson and Aurora and Oak Creek. And now we are hearing it again. For every day we wait, 34 more people are murdered with guns. Today, many of them were five-year olds. Let us all focus on healing of the hearts so sadly hurt by loss. This young parent at an elementary school, bringing two guns and killing a principle(authority figure) and a phychiatrist(who knows what they told him about his child) but we do know the 21 year old parent settled an argument with guns.

He should have never been a parent. Now unless the phych discovered injury to his child as a possiblity and told him they were going to keep the child under protective services, this may have triggered this parent. There are just so many unanswered questions that need to be asked. One problem is the only one to tell what set him off is now gone from this world dimension.
Why do they always harm children? So sad, and we can't possibly have this type of violent behavior unaddressed that is able to get guns. Is the parent a returning war vet w/PTSD?
Like I said, questions....

My heart nad prayers goes out to everyone who witnessed, and lost family in this tragic maladjusted criminal act.

I think that it is sad that officials don't even wait for the day to end before using this as an opportunity to forward their own agendas. I also think its strange that McCarthy's statements before election day almost have a threatening tone...Why do they need to clarify what she meant by her threats? Motive??

In the wake of the deadly Connecticut school shooting, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy said she has warned the White House “the gloves are off” if President Obama fails to act on the issue.

McCarthy (D-N.Y.), the foremost gun control advocate in Congress, said she spoke with White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew before Election Day and told him she will exert pressure on the White House to push for gun control legislation.

“I said, ‘Jack, I know the president is going through an election and I’m telling you after the election I’m coming out full force,’” McCarthy told POLITICO Friday. “I was just giving the White House a heads up that the gloves are off on my side and I was going to do everything I possibly could. … If that meant embarrassing everybody, that’s what I would do.”

Embarrassing the White House, McCarthy said, meant building a large-scale public campaign to ban assault weapons. She pledged to continue to work with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and others to build support for her cause.

“I want to talk to the White House. I know that they can’t give me an answer tonight, but I want to know what they’re going to do. I need to know what they’re going to do.”

The Connecticut school shooting sent TV bookers and reporters seeking out McCarthy, a Democrat just elected to her ninth term whose husband was killed and son severely injured in a 1993 mass shooting on the Long Island Rail Road. She has long sought to pass gun control legislation, most recently fighting to enact laws forbidding high-capacity gun clips like ones used in past mass shootings.

It’s not yet clear if similar clips were used in the Friday massacre.

I live in MA, which is not far from CT. It was actually the kindergarden teachers 20 or 24 yr old son who entered her classrom and killed her and then the children. They say he entered two classrooms. Twenty children dead and seven adults. I pray for their families and all the children. He first killed somone in the house then went to the school. They think he killed his father but they havent said that yet. I think of the suffering some people are going through and makes be grateful for the life i have. I am humbled to say the least.

As consciousness evolves and multiplies through the world there will be more conflict not less for the unawakend will push against the threat... a population controlled by a very sinister force found in our cooporations, our medical system, our food system all geared to make people insane and controlled and as time goes by the insane become more insane. I grew up with guns so it is very difficult for me to see guns as being a problem. People shoot guns, guns do not make a choice... people do. I remember seeing a sign about this that was very telling... I'll see if I can find it and post. What happened was HORRIBLE. Deeply horrible. But I do believe in the right to carry arms and to be able to protect yourself if necessary.

Now, I personally do not own a gun at this time... but I may change my mind. That's my business. I've gone through training and have a certificate to say so. I would rather be killed with a gun though then gutted with a knife personally... but that is my own preference.

I honestly do not have an issue if people do not want to own arms... that's not my point. Not at all, as I have none. But it needs to be within reason. It's like making drugs illegal... there will always be guns, but black market guns will be the norm if they are made illegal, and that is a whole pile of trouble we would be better to avoid. Please, please visit "The Solutions" thread. I see many on this thread who have yet to visit. If you don't have much time, at least read what I wrote on the first post and you will get a basic understanding. You can always go back and watch the videos later.

You will find the answers on there as to why this is happening and what you can do to help. This is a battle of frequencies. You need to have a basic understanding of Holographic Universe, and how our belief systems effect the energy fields that surround us. You need negative events to occur in order for this transformation to take place. Interesting, I would like to find more about this, because i doubt that telepathy would make people more susceptible to programming. As for homicidal tendencies, i do not think it has much to do with autism. With psychopathy yes, autism no.
As for voices that are loud, loud noises, speaking too fast, you are right, it makes them often uncomfortable. They have a neurological disorder and everything that makes us hyper will make them too anxious.

Of course, that is barring something truly extraordinary going on with energies we seem to have little if any understanding of. I could certainly believe that some energy would somehow to drive young adult to middle aged males to do these sorts of things on a fairly regular basis and that maybe we have been on a upward slope in the intensity of some change in this energy. Unfortunately that sort of situation is something I cannot be certain about...maybe reading more here will give me some ideas and inform me further.

But as I stand now I feel positive that there are in fact people operating in the shadows and pulling the strings to make these sort of tragedies happen. I have not read this whole thread just this page....I am very aware of the shootings today and even have a family member that lives 1/2 mile from the school.

I am of the same mind set as WeROne and Sebastasou and whomever else views this sad event with compassion and non-judgment. It is not about guns or autism or drugs, etc...it is about the human experience that we ALL agreed to participate in and witness. Death is not something to fear. It is part of the earth experience. Those that passed on today agreed to participate in this event. There are no accidents. All is in perfect order! Today's massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. happened in the shadow of the headquarters of one of the biggest gun lobbies in the country: the National Shooting Sports Foundation, which is just three miles away from the school. The NSSF pales in both stature and power to the NRA, but they still actively work to ease laws and regulations for gun owners and supporters.

Lydia DePillis of The New Republic reports that the NSSF has spent over $500,000 in 2012 on pro-gun lobbying (compared to the NRA's $2.2 million), most of which went to a D.C. lobbyist.


The lion's share of that went to Patrick Rothwell, the group's director of government relations, who served for three years as chief of staff to the House Republican Policy Committee. He spent a lot of time this year working on legislation that would prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating chemicals in gun ammunition and fishing equipment, and the organization has backed a slew of concealed-carry bills.

DePillis also reports that the NSSF spent $26,000 this campaign season and is frequently consulted by reporters writing facile "he said, she said" stories to give a pro-gun point of view. The foundation takes in $26 million per year and its CEO makes over $300,000 per year.

The NSSF's location in Newtown is an incidental coincidence, of course, but an unfortunate one nonetheless in light of today's events.

It's one of the worst school shootings in US history. At least 27 people gunned down in a US primary school in Connecticut - twenty of them young children. Pupils had tried to hide from the killer in classrooms and closets, but the bloodbath ended only when he turned the gun on himself. A woman believed to be his mother was also found dead at her house.

This is known as an occultation and can be viewed as a powerful conjunction because it occurs in both longitude and latitude. This was 24 hours before the first attack; 14°+ Libra was rising in both charts. Caution... long post, but perhaps of import.

Of late I have refrained from posting on this forum as I have found that many of the ‘popular’ subjects and discussions have centered around “what They are doing”, as well as other pieces that are focused upon fear-based concepts and delusions of 3D experience. Certainly, I looked in once and awhile to see the direction the forum was taking, but, in general, I’ve paid scant attention to it.

The situation that has occurred in Newtown obviously has drawn much attention world-wide, as well as on this forum – this may be discerned from the number of posts it has generated in the short time since it’s inception.

For the record, I live in this general area, and currently my commute takes me past the location of the tragedy. In fact, a number of ‘fellow’ employees have children in this school system, mostly in the ‘upper echelons’ of the business as Newtown is a fairly wealthy community (in general). Fortunately, I don’t believe any were in that particular school. Just the same, this event was the subject of intense concern and focus at my place of work due to our proximity. I put ‘fellow’ in quotations, as I am simply a temporary hire for this company, which has no plans to offer a permanent position (which I don’t particularly care for… it’s simply a means to cover expenses until a major obligation ends at the end of this year).

Generally speaking, this region of the country / state has been well ‘insulated’ from the overall happenings of our world, both natural and otherwise. Of late, Hurricane Sandy has had the most impact, but this impact has been mostly superficial with power outages, downed trees and the like, which were fairly quickly overcome. Due to the concentration of defense and medical oriented companies, it has also been somewhat insulated in an economic fashion, and I have found that a number of people in this organization (and I suspect in the larger community) are clueless to the broader ramifications of Earth’s and humanities current changes. As has been suggested in other threads, perhaps this is a positive thing, as it keeps the general feelings of fear that our media attempt to instill, suppressed or ignored altogether due to this ‘insulated’ circumstance.

During my commute home yesterday, which occurred at around 5:30 in darkness, I could see a number of helicopters hovering over the school site, like vultures circling over a carcass. Such is the nature of our current media-driven fear-based culture.

After perusing some of the reports of this event yesterday evening, it was apparent that what I had initially felt about it from the first reports, was only substantiated by these later items – that this entire event was staged for a particular outcome, much as All the other ‘lone shooter’ events have been. In this regard, I hope to provide some ‘insight’ to the mindset of the people behind them.

This was due to some postings I had made in Nov. 2011, relative to a video about some “ufo’s’”- which were blatantly (to my eye) a grouping of 3 – TR-3B’s, with a remote or autonomous drone flying among them. Most of the postings were of either belief that it was a ‘good find’, or simply some negative commentary such as ‘fake’, etc. The video is still up, but these comments are deeply buried, and mine have been removed as I discontinued my account shortly after receiving the following correspondence.

The second was not of any import as it simply offered ‘juicy bits’ if I answered some questions that would have required some ‘digging’ around the internet…. which I refrained from.

Anyway… the primary reason this individual made a reference to a ‘prophet stinking up the corner’ was I had been e-mailing a number of friends with information to ‘wake them up’ to the various goings-on, and the YT account offered these ‘powers’ a means by which to ‘give me a warning’, via a publicly available, but anonymous account.

In truth, I feel that the true target of the Giffords shooting was the Federal Judge ( I believe his name was ‘Blue’), with Giffords being a secondary target to instill the fear they wished for, just as the Aurora, and other shootings were. The event in Newtown is just the latest attempt to ramp up the fear quotient, with others yet to come in the days ahead I suspect. The corrupt cabal is pulling out all the stops to prevent the dawning of the New Age of Enlightenment. By targeting children in an insulated part of the country shows their desperation in maintaining their dominance and control. The fact that this person had multiple weapons as well as a bullet-proof vest is a strong indication of outside support (in my opinion).

When I was 24 y.o., I certainly did not have the means (nor the inclination) to purchase this stuff, and I suspect that we’ll find that this young adult was caught up in these online, role-playing, shoot-em-up games. A Perfect venue for subliminal mind-control. And you can be certain that this entire tragedy will be repeated ad-nauseum in the media.

This is not meant to dismiss the hurt and pain the parents will feel, nor the overall tragedy this event embodies. Not in the least. However, we, as a species and a society need to place our focus, not on the horror, as this only feeds the lower vibrations, but on feelings of Love and Concern towards those who have been impacted by this event. We must Also send these feelings to those who perpetrated it. This may seem counter-intuitive, but it‘s the Only way we can get Out of the fear-based paradigm that is being imposed upon us.

In defense of this position, I offer the following quote from “Seth Speaks”, as I feel it is of tremendous import at this time.

This all has strong echoes of Martin Bryant's case.

I looked at Bryant's case long and hard and came to the conclusion that:

It was not him that did the shootings;
Bryant has a low IQ (low 60's) and Aspergers Syndrome (ie high functioning Autism).
There were too may inconsistencies and coincidences (eg the only police at the site had been called away by a "tip" that a bottle containing heroine [ended up being soap powder] had been found washed up on a beach an hour away -- the massacre started when police were at this remote site);
It appeared that Bryant believed he was participating in a staged disaster scenario (which had been happening in Tasmania previous to this);
The lack of individuals able to identify him on the day of the massacre as the shooter (even though many who saw the shooter knew Bryant and said it wasn't him);
The attendance of the media on site was orchestrated (there had been a conference held that weekend about 50 km by air from the massacre site);
The accuracy, skill and spread were not consistent with an inexperienced shooter (eg three shots to disable driver and vehicle engine; keeping one in chamber while changing clip; 64 rounds killed 35, wounded 22 and crippled 2 cars, 19 of the deaths [all head shots] occurred within the first 20 seconds at the Broad Arrow Cafe);
Bryant's lawyer (http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/jail-term-for-bryant-lawyer/story-e6frg6ox-1111117535694) was later sent to prison for theft;
Bryant's Mother was called in for questioning before he had been identified as being in the Seascape boarding house (he had told police negotiators his name was Jamie).

The list goes on and on with the Bryant case.

Turns out Adam was the product of a broken family. His parents divorced in 2009. His father moved away and remarried. His older brother hadn't seen him for two years. Why not a chorus of demands for support for marriage and family?

Turns out, a friend described Adam as a "Goth." Goths are Satanists who possibly would revel in such massacres. Why not a chorus of demands for a ban on Goth music and behavior?

How about a media ban on over-reporting massacres, because of the copycat effect? The US doesn't accurately report military deaths in action.

There is a disturbing pattern I'm seeing at work among the nursing staff and the nursing assistants - and these are the people who have the most direct interaction with patients and elderly residents at a healthcare facility.

What I'm noticing: there seem to be a growing number of people in these positions who are on psychiatric drugs. There isn't a day that goes by at work that some nurse or aide isn't discussing some new psychiatric pharmaceutical prescription she's just had filled. Today, one LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) was telling me about how she is now taking Prozac. I asked her why (she knows how strongly I oppose the use of psychiatric drugs). Others are on more than one drug simultaneously. The result is that you can't even talk to these people. They're not in there, if you get my drift.

This LPN said she was opposed to taking the drugs for a long time, but a few days ago, she "raised a white flag".

Pretty vague response, but I know some background to this and so I also know that this has more to do with not wanting to 'cope' than with not being 'able' to cope. It has more to do with avoidable money problems and lack of self-control with spending than it does with not being able to 'cope' with life. It has more to do with poor choices and bad decisions and lousy judgement and overall laziness. It has to do with wanting to be high all the time, not just on the weekend.

I see this all the time at my job - and what's happening is, the personalities of these people on the drugs are changing over time - and not in a good way.

Instead of learning about alternative coping strategies or addressing that 'other' problem they don't talk about or won't admit about themselves, they mask what's really going on with claims of 'anxiety, depression, inability to sleep', inability to perform activities of daily living etc. ... I see this every single day at work. People who know just the right buzzwords to tell a doctor in order to get the desired prescription. They're laughing all the way to the pharmacy. I know, because I've watched them.

During the Great Depression, if you read historical accounts or talk to someone who lived through that time, people had it pretty damn rough. These brain poison pills weren't 'trending' back then. People were forced to do what apparently seems 'unthinkable' today: cope. Today, it seems like more and more people are allowing themselves to be convinced that they can't cope and using these 'excuses' to 'opt out' of even trying - and over time, the ones on these pills may be proven right - that they can't cope. The pills may ultimately ensure this to be so.

Who is getting better from taking all these psychiatric drugs? Do we ever hear about any of those people? Do they even exist?

I'm seeing an upswing in the number of pilled-up healthcare workers. I suspect that my facility isn't anomalous in this regard.

One more thing: What they call 'raising the white flag' used to be called something else back in the day: drug-seeking behavior.

I have just recently discovered that there are many studies going on now to prove that mental illness is really an auto-immune illness like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis and that they can be successfully treated without psychotic medication. Some are discovering that it can be treated with an antibiotic such as minocycline.

Like many here, I find the reporting on this awful tragedy in Newtown Connecticut a little strange:

- Early reports said that the gunman had two pistols and used them to commit the massacre
- Media reports later concurred with the 2-pistol account but added that a rifle was found in a car
- Witness(s) in the school reported a 'pop pop pop' noise during the shooting
- Late media reports said the rifle was found next to the dead gunman (not in the car..?)
- Medical reports are now saying (most) of the dead were killed with a rifle.

Bad reporting? Or did someone deliberately lie here? Rifle can not be in two places at once.

Also strange; a high powered rifle usually makes a hell of a noise (not what one would call a pop, even if separated from you by a wall), especially one of this type. The video link below shows a .223 bushmaster being fired - just after halfway through the guy talks about how loud the thing is. Unfortunately digital videos don't capture the report of high powered rifles very well, but note the ear plugs..

I'm just pointing these things out because I think it's odd - I am not advocating any theory here. So often we hear the most explicit of media reports that are in fact dead wrong, and we never find out why. I hope this gets cleared up and the source of the error is identified.

Below, I am publishing a press release that advocates gun training for teachers. I remember having this discussion several times with my good friend, Dan Brown, a teacher at East Grand Rapids public schools in West Michigan.

Dan and I taught kids to shoot and are both gun owners and lifelong shooters.

I carry it a bit further as a former Marine sniper and “expert” on SWAT, kidnapping and hostage issues. Friends from the FBI started their program at Quantico.

Keeping it simple, I advocate a “head shot” as a way of dealing with people who shoot children, schools or elsewhere.

While doing a commentary on Israeli domestic politics on Press TV this morning (Tehran time), I listened to an “anti-imperialist” commentator say how he thought America ”deserved” this kind of thing because be cause so much violence elsewhere.

Were I there, I might have given the little “SOB” a talking to, perhaps a bit more.

I do advocate that America take a leadership position in human rights, one it has moved away from, at 1000 miles per hour under Bush(43). America’s “big stick” needs to be used to force people to talk meaningfully with each other, meaning no more weapons to Israel but also addressing a reassessment of the world map based on values long discussed and agreed upon but never taken seriously.

History has been stalled long enough.

The shooting issue, what we are discussing here quite probably belongs in a context few have the courage to bring up.

We are talking about “evil.”

When something unbelievably evil happens in one of our schools, like the recent murder of 27 children and teachers at the Newtown School in Connecticut, the media always tells us the same thing: blame the lone nut(s).

But history suggests that many if not most schoolyard massacres, like other large-scale acts of domestic terrorism, have a much more sinister agenda.

Sheriff Pat Sullivan, who ran the Columbine investigation, was arrested last year and convicted of coercing sexual favors from a child in exchange for methamphetamine. His ridiculously short sentence, served in the jail that bears his name, amounted to a slap on the wrist. Rumor has it that Sullivan is part of a pedophile network along the lines of the Finders of Lost Children and the perpetrators of the Franklin Scandal child sex ring.

Some Columbine victims’ family members suspect that Sheriff Sullivan was involved in a “butt rape” incident involving the alleged Columbine shooters. Were those shooters mind-controlled sex-abuse victims?

Rogue intelligence agents and their psychiatrist colleagues have been brainwashing “lone nuts” to commit murder at least since the CIA’s MK-Ultra program achieved its objectives circa 1960.

Why would such “rogue networks” want to send brainwashed Manchurian Candidates into schools to massacre children?

Let’s allow one of the terrorists themselves to answer that question.

Remember Operation Gladio? The Pentagon, through NATO, organized bombings and shootings in the streets of Europe. Multiple eyewitness testimonies confirm that this second man was handcuffed and taken to a police cruiser. We're being told that the other shooter is Adam Lanza, who may or may not have killed his mother on his way to Sandy Hook, his old elementary school. This shooter was "masked" so there is as yet no evidence placing the 20-year-old at the scene.

The police also told the press (http://www.krtv.com/news/27-people-reported-dead-in-connecticut-school-shooting/) they were "looking for a red or maroon van with its back window blown out", which again suggests that there was more than one perpetrator.

The actual shooting appears to have been over and done with very quickly. It began at 9.40am EST, the police received an emergency call one minute later and by the time they arrived at the school, the shooting had stopped and the alleged lone gunman lay dead with two handguns next to him. In the meantime, the media has brought gun control to the top of the U.S. agenda. Certainly, gun control could be a side issue here, but there have been literally dozens of such shootings in the USA over the past 25 years, and yet laws controlling the availability and use of guns were never passed. On the contrary, gun purchases usually spike every time someone in the USA 'goes postal'.

If there is an agenda at work here, then it seems that it may involve creating a situation where a large percentage of U.S. citizens are armed to the teeth, and then, and ONLY then, will the government try to take them away, sure in the knowledge that a decent number of those armed citizens will resist, with predictable consequences.

Theorizing aside; it is profoundly disturbing for anyone (with a conscience) to have to consider those 20 little kids being cut down in this way just a couple of weeks before Christmas. A few minutes before their murderer(s) forced his or their way into their school, those 20 children were all undoubtedly in that state of anticipation that kids experience at the approach of the holidays. But now, not only will they never see their holidays, their families have been destroyed too.

A witness at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting scene in Newtown, CT, told reporters from CBS that police had one man handcuffed and in custody on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.

The witness states that the man is being held in the front of a police cruiser at the site where 28 fatalities have been reported, and 30 of the deaths are said to be children from the K through 4th grade public school.
The suspect, who was dressed in "camo pants with a dark jacket' and told parents outside the school that he "didn't do it," as he passed by them with police, according to the unnamed witness.

Police have confirmed they have a man in custody, but they have not named him as a shooting suspect at this time.

Very good and recommended reading, particularly in light of this most recent event as one can clearly see the similarities described in this book and the current path this country has been on. Hopefully it won't get too much worse before it gets better, but I encourage everyone to get more informed on this phenomena as it is much like a virus as it runs a somewhat predictable course in many cases. I had come across a posting.. I'm not certain now as to Where I found it, but thought to copy and paste it for future reference. It was a (supposed) quote from Morgan Freeman about this tragedy. I have since tried to find it again, and did a brief search for it, finding that in a number of sites it is attributed to be a hoax. I'm not certain of either claim, but I feel that the statement itself is quite significant, regardless of it's origin. The reason I feel this way is due to the fact that it parallels an exact same point-of-view provided in Thiaoouba Prophesy regarding 'the news', and how it is reported.

Your television stations too, screen more and more scenes of violence. If those responsible were obliged to study psychology before being able to undertake such grave responsibilities, a step in the right direction would have been taken. Your reporters seem to seek and even prey on the scenes of violence, murder, tragedy and disaster; we are sickened by their behavior.
The leaders of a country, the journalists, in fact anyone who, by their position, is able to exert influence on the people, has an enormous responsibility towards millions of people who are no more nor less than his fellow creatures. Too often, even those who have been elected to their positions by the people, forget the obligations they have in this regard – until, that is, a few months prior to a new election, when it occurs to them that the people are dissatisfied and might vote them out.
This is not the case with journalists though, as they have not needed to inspire confidence in the people in order to attain their positions; and yet they have a similar power to influence in ways which are good or bad.
Indeed, they are capable of doing much good when they alert the public’s attention to danger and injustice – and this should be their main function.
To return to the need for such high profile people to understand and apply psychology, I will give you a good example to illustrate what I mean. On TV we see the following report: A young man has just taken a rifle and killed seven people including two women and two young children. The reporter shows the bloodstains and the bodies, adding that the killer had imitated the style of an actor, well known for his violent roles in films. And the result? The murderer is going to be proud of himself – not only has he achieved ‘national notoriety’, he has also been compared with one of the most popular heroes of violent modern films. But, beyond that, another such madman who sees the reports and hears the commentaries of reporters who pay unwarranted attention to this odious crime, will be inspired to seek his own moment of national ‘glory’.
Such a person is usually a failure – someone repressed, frustrated, inhibited; someone ignored, who yearns for recognition. He has just see the report and he knows that all violence is reported, and sometimes exaggerated, by TV reporters and journalists. Perhaps his picture will appear on the front page of all the newspapers – and why not? Then he will go before the courts and perhaps be referred to by a name like ‘Jack the Ripper’, or ‘The Stranger with the Velvet Glove’. No longer will he rank among ordinary mortals. The harm that such irresponsible reporting can do is unimaginable. Thoughtlessness and irresponsibility are not qualities apparent in civilized nations. That’s why I say, on Earth, you have not even achieved the first letter of the word civilization.
(M) ‘So, what is the solution?’
(T) Why do you ask such a question, Michel? You have been chosen because we know how you think, and I know that you know the answer to your question. Still, if you insist, you will hear it from my mouth. Journalists, reporters and anyone else whose function it is to disseminate information should devote no more than two or three lines to such cases of murder. They could simply say: “we have just learned of the murder of seven people by an irresponsible lunatic. This murder occurred at whatever location and is a very sorry event in a country that considers itself to be civilized.” Full stop.
Those who seek their day or weeks of glory would surely side step murder as a means of attaining it, if their efforts received so little publication in return. Don’t you agree?
(M) What then, should their reports comprise?
(T) There are so many worthwhile things to show – reports of worthwhile events which improve the psyche of Earth people rather than brainwashing them in a negative way. Reports such as the risking of life to rescue a child who was drowning, for example, or of assistance given to the poor to improve their lot.
(M) ‘Of course, I agree with you entirely, but I’m sure the circulation of newspapers depends on the sensational news they contain.’
(T) And there we are, back at the root of all evil that I mentioned earlier – money. This is the curse that undermines your entire civilization; and yet, in this particular case, the situation could be reversed if those responsible were motivated to change. On no matter which planet, the greatest dangers to humankind are, ultimately of a psychological rather than a material nature.

Shrinks call it... "Intermittent Explosive Disorder"


I live with a son who is mentally ill. I love my son. But he terrifies me.

A few weeks ago, Michael pulled a knife and threatened to kill me and then himself after I asked him to return his overdue library books. His 7 and 9 year old siblings knew the safety plan -- they ran to the car and locked the doors before I even asked them to. I managed to get the knife from Michael, then methodically collected all the sharp objects in the house into a single Tupperware container that now travels with me. Through it all, he continued to scream insults at me and threaten to kill or hurt me.

That conflict ended with three burly police officers and a paramedic wrestling my son onto a gurney for an expensive ambulance ride to the local emergency room. The mental hospital didn’t have any beds that day, and Michael calmed down nicely in the ER, so they sent us home with a prescription for Zyprexa and a follow-up visit with a local pediatric psychiatrist.

We still don’t know what’s wrong with Michael. Autism spectrum, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant or Intermittent Explosive Disorder have all been tossed around at various meetings with probation officers and social workers and counselors and teachers and school administrators. He’s been on a slew of antipsychotic and mood altering pharmaceuticals, a Russian novel of behavioral plans. Nothing seems to work.

At the start of seventh grade, Michael was accepted to an accelerated program for highly gifted math and science students. His IQ is off the charts. When he’s in a good mood, he will gladly bend your ear on subjects ranging from Greek mythology to the differences between Einsteinian and Newtonian physics to Doctor Who. He’s in a good mood most of the time. But when he’s not, watch out. And it’s impossible to predict what will set him off.

Several weeks into his new junior high school, Michael began exhibiting increasingly odd and threatening behaviors at school. We decided to transfer him to the district’s most restrictive behavioral program, a contained school environment where children who can’t function in normal classrooms can access their right to free public babysitting from 7:30-1:50 Monday through Friday until they turn 18.

The morning of the pants incident, Michael continued to argue with me on the drive. He would occasionally apologize and seem remorseful. Right before we turned into his school parking lot, he said, “Look, Mom, I’m really sorry. Can I have video games back today?”

“No way,” I told him. “You cannot act the way you acted this morning and think you can get your electronic privileges back that quickly.”

His face turned cold, and his eyes were full of calculated rage. “Then I’m going to kill myself,” he said. “I’m going to jump out of this car right now and kill myself.”

That was it. After the knife incident, I told him that if he ever said those words again, I would take him straight to the mental hospital, no ifs, ands, or buts. I did not respond, except to pull the car into the opposite lane, turning left instead of right.
“Where are you taking me?” he said, suddenly worried. “Where are we going?”

“You know where we are going,” I replied.

“No! You can’t do that to me! You’re sending me to hell! You’re sending me straight to hell!”

I pulled up in front of the hospital, frantically waiving for one of the clinicians who happened to be standing outside. “Call the police,” I said. “Hurry.”

Michael was in a full-blown fit by then, screaming and hitting. I hugged him close so he couldn’t escape from the car. He bit me several times and repeatedly jabbed his elbows into my rib cage. I’m still stronger than he is, but I won’t be for much longer.
The police came quickly and carried my son screaming and kicking into the bowels of the hospital. I started to shake, and tears filled my eyes as I filled out the paperwork -- “Were there any difficulties with… at what age did your child… were there any problems with.. has your child ever experienced.. does your child have…”

At least we have health insurance now. I recently accepted a position with a local college, giving up my freelance career because when you have a kid like this, you need benefits. You’ll do anything for benefits. No individual insurance plan will cover this kind of thing.

For days, my son insisted that I was lying -- that I made the whole thing up so that I could get rid of him. The first day, when I called to check up on him, he said, “I hate you. And I’m going to get my revenge as soon as I get out of here.”

By day three, he was my calm, sweet boy again, all apologies and promises to get better. I’ve heard those promises for years. I don’t believe them anymore.

On the intake form, under the question, “What are your expectations for treatment?” I wrote, “I need help.”

And I do. This problem is too big for me to handle on my own. Sometimes there are no good options. So you just pray for grace and trust that in hindsight, it will all make sense.

I am sharing this story because I am Adam Lanza’s mother. I am Dylan Klebold’s and Eric Harris’s mother. I am Jason Holmes’s mother. I am Jared Loughner’s mother. I am Seung-Hui Cho’s mother. Just a couple of thoughts:

1) I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was having weird feelings on Friday. I was at my son's Christmas party at his school that morning and my intuition just went crazy when a teacher brought up Columbine (weirder than normal). Just something seemed off and listening to the radio just confirmed why I seemed to pay attention to everyone's visitor's passes a little bit too much. Normally, I just don't care that much or notice, but that day I did care a lot more.

2) I really couldn't help but think that the Powers that Be are getting desperate and, of course, everyone on PA filled in a lot of the blanks, so I am thrilled to get the information.

3) I've been working really hard at not getting into all the fear and sadness. Mainly because my son is so aware of Christmas this year and is having such a blast. It's been really hard watching so many people post memorial stuff on facebook because I know that's what the PTB want. They want us to dwell in this sadness and I really can't go there w/people. I can't help it because I know that it's a staged act. Something was triggered and these events unfolded. It makes me more angry than anything because a lot of this has thwarted the a lot of the joy that flows around this time of year. I barely watch TV news these days, so that makes it easier to deal with, but still....it's everyone around me that does 'pay attention' that's driving me nuts. All they want to talk about is guns and faith. I don't have a problem with either, but still people want to have these arguments and I'm not in a mood to argue w/anyone. I just want to go back to having a happy Christmas season with my kid who says "Ho Ho Ho" all the time and loves his Santa hat and is just thrilled that mom DVR'd 'the Polar Express' so he watch a movie with a train in it. And I sound totally selfish for wishing that.

I need to e-mail my kid's teacher to ask how they are going to handle the issue because he's slightly younger than the other kids at the school. (He's in a preschool program).

I also feel like this school shooting is different. I can't explain why, but it seems different. Like it's not just going to be over after a couple of weeks. There are going to be ramifications from this one that hasn't come with the others. That's what makes me nervous and has me on edge still.

Yeah, I think I'm done rambling, but I just wanted to share and put my thoughts out there because I'm sick of our government doing these things because it's not representative of who 99.9% of Americans are. I'm sick of the propaganda and I'm sick of being lied to. I'm also sick of our sons and young men being treated like they are ticking time bombs because they aren't born that way. They are made that way by sickos. I'm sick of our kids being used as cannon fodder in someone else's war. I'm just disgusted by our leaders that put up with this crap because they are scared off by blackmail threats.

Kids rebound much quicker than adults. it took weeks for the real grief to hit my daughter, but then it passed and she was back to herself...

it is the parents surrounding the tragedy that have a tough time getting over it...

constantly thinking what could I have done differently to prevent it...

According to an exclusive report in the NY Daily News, Nancy Lanza, mother of Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza, told a friend a few days before the massacre that she felt she was “losing” her son and that “he was getting worse.”

The friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said Lanza felt she was “having trouble reaching” her son and that, approximately a year ago, he had begun “burning himself with a lighter.” According to her friend, the conversation about Adam Lanza’s behavior was unusual: “It was weird. She never really talked about (Adam). She mainly talked about her oldest kid (Ryan).”

The friend continued saying that Lanza “looked disturbed.” “She was looking down at her glass and kind of talking slowly,” he said. “You have to know Nancy to know how weird that was, she was just always so full of life.”

The conversation didn’t go much further, however, as the friend recalls that he left to take a phone call and when he returned, Lanza had dropped the topic of her son.

He recounted Lanza’s love of guns and the fact that she passed that love on to her children: “Adam learned how to shoot a rifle by the time he was 9-years-old. They would go to the range.”

According to him, Lanza owned “at least a dozen” guns, most of which were “larger rifles.” He made clear to note that “Nancy was a responsible gun owner” and “it was important that she teach her son how to responsibly use a firearm.”

When the one team is loosing, and there is considered to be just a sliver of a window of opportunity left, that is when the gloves come off and the rules are broken. Break the rules, break the ethics, who cares, it turns into being all about the win -at any price.

At that point, no price is too big or too great. At the end point, the end run, rules become meaningless and are discarded. All decorum is disposed of.

In hockey, they send out the enforcers, and major penalties are taken and some injuries occur that are so severe, that they can threaten entire careers of the players involved. Gloves are dropped, fights break out. Anything but loosing. 'Sh!t Just Got Real', is one way of putting it.

In war, the long shots are played out, the risky moves are taken. Same for espionage and also...this particular war. The war for human awareness and thus the control of the flow and emergence of the human avatar and all that it implies..

The risks of loss are so high, that rules are thrown by the wayside. All for the win. The chessboard is overturned, along with the table..and out come the guns.

We are collectively watching this happen in what seems like slow motion.

Looking at the civilian gun chart I posted above I was surprised there was still
3.4 million guns in private hands in England & wales.There must be a lot more
illegally here, & does not include Scotland & Northern Irland. As with all
countries so the figures are only a guide.

The two main events that made firearms banned were Hungerford & Dunblane
both killing multiple Adults & children, both by lone white male loners with
access to automatic weapons. Again suspicious when you look into the cases.

Unlike in the US, the culture is different concerning weapons except during the
troubles in Northern Irland and the inner cities.Even if President Obama tries
to bring in some sort of control over these recent shooting event that do look
suspiciously orchestrated how could he do it ?

Homeland security is in place , Fema camps could be opened up for gangs &
militias but that would be messy.I don't think the public will stand for that.
