I'm just going to bed, so I can't stay up to 22 Dec to report nothing at all happened today. But I'm 100% sure today will go without anything big happening.

So what's the next date the world is sopposed to end??

Happy solstice! Looking forward to longer days, in the northern hemisphere anyway. Hmm, can't see anything outside my window right now. Of course, it's snowing heavily. I know what I'll be doing today. Shoveling.

Woke up at 8am. No electricity! OMG, it's 21 Dec 12; giant solar flare has knocked out the UK mains supply! Better tune in the portable radio to BBC Radio Four... Thank God, the 'Today Programme' in full swing. All is well with the world - or as well as usual anyway.

Seems the last three days of rain has got into the underground cables (again) and knocked out the power to a couple of streets. Vans, men, digging... Everything back to normal at 1230 GMT...

I heard on the Radio that in the last 2000yrs there has been almost 200 end of the world dates. Lol when will they ever learn.

Blessed Solstice everyone. The Light shines longer and brighter from here on.

Did anyone actually think the world was going to end? It's unbelievable that there were over 20 schools closed in Michigan because the kids were so upset. My neighbor (here in Pennsylvania) kept her kid home from school, too. I want to yell at these people that if they're going to believe the prophesies then, at least KNOW what they're about. I think the Mayans can sue everyone who made money off the gloom and doom and get rich!

It was never about the end of the world. I'm sad that so many people went through so much fear over this. But if anyone wants to know what it was all about then pay attention to what the Mayans say themselves. How they're reacting to the times.... It's their prophesy btw.... But here's something else to consider in all of this as George Kavassilas' latest video explains:

QaPOE89dZR8

George wanted us all to be reminded that OUR own ORGANIC light is powerful. This is what we need to send Mother Earth....

It's still early here, but I'm expectant. Part of me wanted to see something on a grand scale happening on this planet. The other part feels that it'll unfold as it will. It's only the beginning....But I can say that I feel alittle differently because I've been staying in my heart center and shining that light outward. My mind seems to be reaching farther around me than usual. Visions seem to wizz by like a fast moving train.

Stay in your heart centers, my friends. Let's see how you're affected by the energies!

The school closings were ridiculous.

It's unbelievable that there were over 20 schools closed in Michigan because the kids were so upset.

Well I thought that might be an internet 'factoid' until I found the story for myself - if genuine (http://www.lapeerschools.org/UserFiles/Servers/Server_3097392/File/school%20closing%20%2812-20-12%29.pdf).

Why some schools and not others? Are there pockets of insanity in Michigan where this stuff is tolerated, or are these just the only place where such closures got reported?

The USA is a v-e-r-y strange place...
