for the past weeks now i wonder how they know the exact date going to be occur? I'm not talking about prophecies/predictions but the date of it. anything before BC pretty much all we have is stories and pictures which might misinterpreted.

Look at Mayan Calendar it end in certain period but how you know going to end either on or from 21-DEC...it's over hundreds thousand years ago and calendar in different eras also different. Mayan Calendar might be the end during that period in their time but somehow modern human misinterpreted come up with stupid stuff and events to be happen in current day.

i also watched 2012 crossing over Santos and the astrology guys saying galactic alignment occur every 26,000 years which will happen from 12-13. it was thousands years ago and so many changes in calendar and looking back to that time pretty much blank nothing but theories.

what sign you looking at for certain date going or to be happen? is it accurate? they might not considering time zone and might 3-4 years off.

from what i know Modern Day human have wrong concept of time but back then they were more advance might have right concept of time, for that reason we modern human might calculate wrong time.

is it one guy saying this and this event going to happen on or from this date according ancients and everyone else goes along join come up all kind of things and event with that date.

You could say that time perception is closely linked to perception of pattern.

Everything in the human memory does rely to a degree on nothing more than pattern!

So when the human observes a real (or imagined) pattern, he gets excited -- because nature has something in common with him.

Thanks for this!

p.s. crops were a reason ancient humans needed these calendars.
a galactic shift does wreak hell on the cabbage.

Mayan Calendar End Date Misinterpreted: End Of The World Is 12/23/2012

The Mayan long count calendar began on Aug. 13, 3113 B.C. and ends on Dec. 23, 2012. There is no prediction about the end of the world.

Do you panic every year as Dec. 31 rolls around? No. You simply take down your old calendar and put up a new one.

I have been keeping an eye out for the new Mayan calendar.

how they calculate exact date that calendar end on 2012? according mayan might be end few years before of after 2012 using their system for calculation but somehow modern human misinterpret it with our system.

They did not know. They had no clue of our current "Christian" calendar.

But they knew, and we now know, of certain celestial events, such as when the winter solstice (shortest day in Northern Hemisphere) occurs and when and where the sun, moon, stars, planets and galactic core will be visible in the sky.
