Not Alien, 'Alien'. They are intentionally deformed skulls. Interesting, but not from outer space.

So they say Shade. There are sites out there that debunk that statement as the cranial capacity of many of the skulls is much greater than a deformed human skull might have. You can shape a baby's head, but you can't add a whole mess of extra bone to it to make it extremely more elongated than a normal human skull.

Well, the article is progress, at least, even if they do have to pull out the old tropes. LOL

So if a skull is elongated and of a larger volume than normal its not normal---there could, of course. be a multitude of reasons for the abnormality.

Even if artificial deformation of skulls was a human practice, it is odd that this occured across the world (Iraq, Siberia, East Germany, South America, North America, Mexico, possibly Egypt, Vanuatu - an island, Bahamas - islands, Australia) amongst peoples who supposedly had no contact with each other. What inspired this bizarre practice in so many places?

These guys, gals and others of their kind. Note the long skulls of the kids Akhenaton and his queen are holding and that they themselves are probably hiding under those big hats. The big greys in the Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull movie may be a deliberate mischaracterization of what the true Coneheads looked like. Or, maybe it's just a general multidimensional trait of species that have reached a certain stage of their evolution.

Thought I'd share. I like the series, Merlin. This season, they also had an entity that I thought was quite interesting and that pertains to this thread. In the series, it is called the Euchdag, the font of All Wisdom (http://merlin.wikia.com/wiki/Euchdag). This is the first time I've ever seen an entity like this presented in any form of mainstream media.

and to add to the question. who has been able to hold a baby still long enough to add a board or brick to the head of a sleeping baby? i have never seen one stop moving long enough to do anything to their head?

LOL......When my first son was born they used forcips on his head to exit the birthing canal. His head was similiar to these photos. I shyte u not. His head went back to normal a few days later. Thought id share that.
