View Full Version : Broken Dreams, Or Awakened Dreams?

It's all in the interpretation I reckon, like a roll of the bones. What do they REALLY say? I see a lot of people in general these days having their lives run aground, and broken apart upon the rocks. But what are "the bones" really telling them when things "roll" this way? That life is over, or life has just begun?

It still reminds me of when I first noticed something terribly wrong with my little fantasy world view just over four years ago, coupled with going from making $50,000 a year as a carpenter long in high demand building custom homes, to hearing "we're not hiring" before I could even ask. The rug had been pulled out from under me from two different directions with no warning, and nothing was ever going to be the same.

It was devastating, and guess what, I didn't like it one bit. I was one pissed off son of a gun. It was also to be a trigger for a dark night of the soul period, which was to culminate a few months later with a simple choice: Continue on this path of self destruction, or get your s**t together boy, and go figure out what this new life is going to be all about. One thing was for sure, the old life was gone. Bye bye.

It's obvious now with 20/20 hindsight that dark period was actually a blessing in disguise, and I'm thankful my old life was destroyed. Like Socrates said: "The unexamined life is not worth living". Besides, who would have guessed the extra time at home would be just what the doctor ordered for beginning to figure out just what was really going on in this world. Go figure.

Sometimes there are unintended and unforeseen consequences for the rulers of this planet, when they go messing around with people's lives and laying them to waste. Maybe they should have messed around with a boomerang as a kid.

So when I see people today with their lives laying in ruin, while having much compassion for what they are going through, I also know that they have a choice as to what to ultimately make of it. It can truly be the end, or it can be a new beginning.

Just thinking aloud here...

hi fred,
that reminds me:
we were playing a game on new years eve and the question appeared,
wich MISTAKE from 2012 one would like to not make ...
yep, ... nobody could answer this because its all eyperience in a way and all things together brought us to here and now and who`s to say if not a big loss turns out to be a big gain?
there are still losses I carry around in my box "for later enlightenment" because I still wonder "why?" or "why me?" or "why then?" but somehow I trust that even or most of all the dark experiences carry a diamond inside. It helps when I start accepting the dark stuff, somehow welcome and love, and thank and forgive, most of all myself, after all I believe that we choose every second, :yo:, maya

"why?" or "why me?" or "why then?"

Those are often asked questions aren't they maya? And we've all repeatedly asked them. Near as I can tell so far, the only adequate way to resolve each one of them once and for all, is to go have a good long look in the mirror.

Going back to the rolling the bones analogy:

It's all in the interpretation I reckon, like a roll of the bones. What do they REALLY say? Far preferring to ask questions than to "answer" them, let me clarify the above a tad bit. On the overall assumption that casting anything out into "reality", in this case a baby human being born, is basically a roll of the bones (as above so below), and subject to the energy that created the action. Our individual lives are a slow motion rolling of the bones.

The energetic responsible for any one of us being here now has already been expressed, due to the obvious fact of our appearing in this realm.(LOL) The dye is already cast so to speak from the the get go. The trick being though, can said person properly connect/re-connect with the purpose of this creative energetic, before the game clock expires?

IMO, that's it right there, currently working on it, unable to judge my "success" not sure if thats a good sign Fred.

I'm no ancient sage Jeff, but if you are examining your life, you are succeeding my friend.

Cheers,
