I know I’ve posted probably in the wrong place but I think our guests come here and visit more often and I would like for them to see some of the amazing work our ancestors could do. After watching this short video I had to share. Mod. if wrong please move.
The Kailasa Temple, is one of the most astonishing ‘buildings’ in the history of architecture. This shrine was not constructed of stone on stone, it was in fact not constructed at all: it was carved, sculpted from the volcanic hillside! A squared, u-shaped trench was first cut into the slope to the depth of close to 100 feet. Then they started carving out of living rock.

Unbelievable… freaking Unbelievable!!
This wasn’t done as “well let’s just go out and carve some more rocks today, boys”.
There had to have been some sort of a plan and many, many artists!
I know this took many years and in my opinion I believe they knew or had something which we will never fully understand, except for their amazing talents and smarts.
Only Now Exists
