Ethel Hoover wore all black on her last day of work as a nurse in the critical care unit at Indiana University Health Goshen Hospital. She said she was in "mourning" because she would have been at the hospital 22 years in February, and she's only called out of work four or five times in her whole career , she said.


"This is my body. I have a right to refuse the flu vaccine," Hoover, 61, told ABCNews.com. "For 21 years, I have religiously not taken the flu vaccine, and now you're telling me that I believe in it."

if their flu vaccine is so effective, give it to all the patients , then they will have nothing to worry about.......RIGHT ;) ....... and anyone who doesn't want to have it as a patient would surely understand the rights of a nurse who did not want to take it either!

my daughter worked at an old age home, they gave all the residents the flu shot, then tried to bully all the staff into having it also.....she said NO and told them if your flu vaccine is so good and they've all had it then I don't need it :p She was 19 at the time

TeslaWTC, I encourage you to read Dawn's thread on gut bacteria. Many, many children with the autism diagnosis have been CURED by eliminating sugars and starches that feed bad germs, and feeding lots of fermented foods that encourage abundant beneficial bacteria. It's now called the biodome, the body's immense population of bacteria. There are trillions of good germs in our bodies.........if we are healthy.
