The man nominated as the new head of the CIA has plenty of blood on his hands
from the support of torture to the use of predetor drones and the killing of many
civilians in Pakistan/Afghanistan !

President Obama appointed former-Senator Chuck Hagel for secretary of defense and
counter terrorism adviser, John Brennan, as director of the CIA on Monday. The two
have an elaborate record serving the US government, but both selections have received
a lot of unwanted attention by the mainstream media. It has been reported that
Brennan was a supporter of President Bush's torture tactics. Michael Brooks with The
Majority Report gives us his take on Brennan.

The US Senate is considering President Obama's picks to lead the Pentagon and the
CIA. The candidate for the post of Spy Chief, presidential counter-terrorism advisor
John Brennan, is a strong advocate of aggressive CIA tactics, and has secured a
controversial drone programme as one of the agency's main tools. Paul Craig
Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury thinks if Brennan is confirmed
as the CIA head, the agency will further expand its powers.

I did see that on another thread.

No one's coming for my gun because I don't ( currently ) possess one.

However I'd fight ( figuratively or otherwise ) for those that do and agree that the U.S. Constitution is more than just a 'goddamned piece of paper' as one former U.S. President so eloquently phrased.

Now, like I posted above, quit bothering me, I've got a busy day. ;-))))

I own no gun nor do i want one, but I live in a differrent culture. If i lived in the US
and it was my right to own a gun I would fight for it, for several reasons firstly it
was put into the constition to stop dictorial government.IE the King
at first, then the federal government, when it was set up later. Also I have been to
Florida four times on holiday and loved it, although i was cocooned in Disney
world, Kissimee & international drive Orlando so I did not see the real
America. If I emigrated to the states my attitude towards owning a gun would
probably change as I intergrated into the culture and depending where I lived.
