The 2012 maya ascencion is a good start in understanding the misconception, what a great way to discredit the understanding and positive contributions Indeginious beliefs have to offer humanity. Taking the perspective that the war bieng waged upon us all is against the purest and truest of the ideas and understanding of Native cultures throughout the world then consider the mind manipulation of the 2012 Mayan valentines day commercial we all witnessed. Most will buy what was bieng advertised. Bill Ryan who in my opinion (no offense intended) came along pretty late in the story to have a clear point of view 2012 as more like a fairy tale story the reality will be overlooked. The damage has been done. The spiritual war that the indeginous peoples of the world speak of is a faint wind softly blowing.

just to be clear are you saying all these people who have talking about the rift, the galaxy line up etc. are just totally blowing smoke?
Yes, I'm afraid they are. It's all a New Age myth with zero astronomical and physical substance or fact behind it.
21 December 2012 has become (for a minority of the world's population!) rather like Christmas Day -- imbued by cultural and societal (and global control) factors to be entirely artificially important.
But Jesus was not born on that day at all. It's just a belief system which folk subscribe to because most people want to believe something and create meaning in their lives. We humans do this all the time -- and 21 December 2012 is just another human-created ritual.
It's interesting to research where the "21 December" date came from. Much of the blame (and I use that word deliberately) lies with Terence McKenna, an inspired but basically loony acidhead who widely publicized the date in a book he wrote back in 1993. The original 21 December date came from Mayan researcher Robert Sharer.
Prior to Sharer and McKenna's publication of their agreed idea of the end of the Mayan Calendar date, scholars had widely disagreed. Even last year, respected researcher Carl Calleman stated that the calendar "really" ended on 28 October (2011), and this too was widely touted. Of course, nothing happened on that day at all.
But the beliefs about 21 December, widely shared in the New Age community, make it "real" in societal terms. The rest of the physical universe doesn't know about that, though. It's purely a New Age cultural phenomenon, and nothing more. It will pass.
Let's look forward to 1 January 2013 (as I've often written) -- and then we can put all the hysteria behind us and focus on important matters. Dark Forces, whose interests and agendas are unwittingly supported with many otherwise able and perceptive people embracing the massive diversion and distraction, are having a field day. Next year it's important that we all get on with the job in hand.

It has always been a natural to us. To walk among the wild fields hearing the little stirrings of life. Bees buzzing and birds flying freely in the winds of the father, bring a yearning to be that bird or free flying soul among God. Admiration for the blessing of the birds, bees that pollinate the foods we eat. It's not hard to be at one with nature and God, some people have to come out of the haze of "meaningless and outdated technological noises of the city" and sit in a field of wild flowers in the spring with your shoes off, or with moccassins to free the toes, as your feet embrace Mother Earth. I still walk barefoot during the summer unless I leave my residence. I treated the soil with natural parasite deterents that don't harm the bees or butterflies. I am at one, at peace, at love with God.
I've been star-gazing and absorbing the energies that now have increased my vision. Macular degeneration and of course medicinal mj, deter cateracts and eye diseases, increase fluid/water intake when I get the munchies and no dry eye in site. Marijuana is, has been, and always will be, "an Herb of healing" Medical pharmaceuticals just don't know how to break down the many canabanoid combinations that treat multiple degeneration of cell diseases, so until they can figure out the multiple combinations for the sliced up body chart specialist, they don't want it legal, and still test us like lab rats, if you allow them. I have an intestinal dis-ease Irritable Bowel Syndrome because of the disgusting watered down representation of foods with NO high vitamin content. Stressful childhood, because the seriousness of my nature to defend the weak, meek, and elderly. Holding down a single parent household for mom at 9, and working "then considered" men's jobs to take care of my family. Heavy lifting, machine operations, and managerial positions, w/out the proper pay (stress to work longer and squeeze proper parental guidance time to 9 children.)
Now it's me time and the need, not want to relax, is not only necessary, but detrimental to my health to improve a chronic illness or at least rid my body of enough toxins to function properly. Plumbing pipes should never be clogged. Stress clogs my pipes all muscles tense. I wish to take that negative and use it to expand my chakras. It's working.
However, we are what we eat, and Native Americans had a very good/lean diet with fireside chats between men, women and children, the norm. Sometimes people have just got to "say no to stress/bs" and treat it like a satelite in your atmosphere, away from direct contact.

Your tickling my fancy, and i will elaborate some. It's nice to see a post of such. SINCE BECOMING AWAKENED SEVERAL YEARS AGO, I have had a quite keen interest in The Native American Indian and Indigenous Culture's. A path that makes me centered, balanced thus connecting with nature. So I will start my post with some smudging. Filling the air with some good spiritual energy and scents...if you will.

Smudging
Smudging is the burning of certain herbs to create a cleansing smoke bath, which is used to purify people, ceremonial and ritual space, and ceremonial tools and objects. The burning of herbs or incense is a practice held sacred by many indigenous cultures. It is a ritual for cleansing, purifying and protecting the physical and spiritual bodies. The effect of the smoke is to banish negative energies. Many differing cultures and peoples have their own methods and herbal mixtures for this purpose. Smudging, done correctly, can bring physical, spiritual and emotional balance. The term Smudging originated in the Native American culture. Native American Indians use a variety of smudging mixtures. In olden times, the end of the smudge stick or braid was lit from the central or cooking fire. Not everyone views the practice of smudging in the same way and different herbs may be used for different purposes.
Popular Herbs
The principle herbs used are sage, cedar or juniper, lavender and sweet grass. Generally, sage, sweet grass, and cedar are burned to purify and protect one's living area, self and sacred tools. Pure tobacco is also used by some Plains tribes, and copal in South and Central America. The herbs are burnt on their own or in mixtures, depending on tradition and required effect.
Sage
Sage (Artemisia tridentia) is not the same as the European varieties and is indigenous to the Americas. There are two major genii and several varieties of each genus of Sage that are used for smudging. Salvia, or the herb sage used for cooking, comes in two major varieties: S. officinalis, commonly known as Garden Sage, and S. apiana, commonly known as White Sage. Salvia varieties have long been acknowledged as healing herbs, reflected in the fact that its genus name comes from the Latin root word salvare, which is the verb "to heal" or "to save." Artemisia is the genus commonly considered "Sagebrush", and is more common in California and parts of British Columbia. There are two major varieties to the Artemisia genus: A. californica or Common Sagebrush, and A. vulgaris or Mugwort. There are many other varieties of both Salvia and Artemisia, and all are effective in smudging. Sage is burned in smudging ceremonies to drive out evil spirits, negative thoughts and feelings, and to keep Gan'n (negative entities) away from areas where ceremonials take place. In the Plains Sweatlodge, the floor of the structure is strewn with sage leaves for the participants to rub on their bodies during the sweat.
Sage is also used in keeping sacred objects like pipes or Peyote wands safe from negative influence. In the Sioux nation, the Sacred Pipe is kept in a bundle with sage boughs. I would think special crystals could be so protected this way as well.
Cedar: Cypress and Juniper
True cedar is of the Thuja and Libocedrus genii. Some Junipers (Juniperus genus) are also called "cedar", thus complicating things some. Some Juniper varieties are cleansing herbs, especially J. monosperma, or Desert White Cedar. But for smudging, the best is Western Red Cedar (Thuja occidentalis) and California Incense Cedar (Libocedrus descurrens). Cedar is burnt while praying to the Great Spirit (Usen', the Source -- also known to Plains nations as Wakan Tanka) in meditation, and also to bless a house before moving in as is the tradition in the Northwest and Western Canada. It works both as a purifier and as a way to attract good energy in your direction. It is usually available in herb stores in chipped form, which must be sprinkled over a charcoal in a brazier. I like a piece of charcoaled mesquite for this purpose, rather than the commercial charcoal cake.
Sweetgrass
Very important to the Sioux and Cherokee nations and many Plains tribes in Alberta and Saskatchewan, its botanical name is Hierochloë odorata. In these tribes, the sweetgrass is braided like hair braids. It could be burnt by lighting the end of it, or (more economically) by shaving little bits of it onto charcoal in a brazier. Again, use charcoaled Mesquite (I believe it comes packaged for barbecue use under the brand name "Red Arrow") to burn it, not pressed charcoal tablets. Sweetgrass is burnt after smudging with sage, to welcome in good influences after the bad had been driven out. Sweetgrass is also used to welcome Spirits into ceremonies.
Diamond Willow Fungus
Is found in parts of Alberta and Northern British Columbia, it is very sweet smelling and is used for cleansing, either on it’s own or mixed with other medicines. Diamond willow fungus is also good for removing headache pain, it is lit and a little smoke is taken in through the nostrils.
Bay Leaf
Bay leaf is traditionally used to protect against colds and flu. Other good anti-cold medicines are Whikis (also known as ratroot), Balsam bark is also good for sore throats and colds. To relieve congestion the best remedy is a heaping tablespoon of mountain sage in a cup of boiling water, let steep for ten minutes, remove the sage, add a tablespoon of honey and drink it down, very bad tasting but will eliminate congestion overnight.
Fennel
Fennel is effective in repelling negative energies and calms the nerves.
Mugwort
Mugwort is used for healing, divination and to stimulate dreams and visions. It can be burned during rituals or before sleeping. However as some people find it to be slightly mind-altering, avoid its use before driving.
Mullien
Mullien is an effective herb for healing emotional trauma that originates from relationships with other people and it provides protection when beginning a new project. Most people find the smoke to be very grounding and calming. It is often used at the end of a ritual in which Mugwort has been burned at the beginning.
Orris Root
Orrisroot when burned with Celery seeds increases psychic gifts and concentration.
Copal
Copal is sometimes used by the Yaqui and in ancient times by the Azteca and the Maya.
Pine, Fir, Hemlock, and Spruce
Pine, Fir, Hemlock, and Spruce are burnt for their purifying and cleansing effect. They are most effective in combination with other herbs.
Uvi Ursi
Uvi Ursi was traditionally mixed with tobacco and used for smoking during pipe ceremonies. The fragrance and energy when burned are very calming and grounding.
Yerba Santa
Yerba Santa has many uses medicinally. Burn it to nurture and protect that which is ancient, sacred and wild within you. Use it when you need encouragement or courage.
Smudging may be done by yourself or with one or more other people.
There are many different rituals and methods used when smudging.
One or more herbs used in different combinations or alone.
Rooms and psychic tools, such as crystals and other objects that hold energy, are often smudged/cleansed on a regular basis. The initial smudging is for the purpose of purifying the space and participants and for banishing any unwanted energies.
Cleansing the ceremonial or ritual space before and after the event is an essential part of spiritual hygiene. The final smudge is to clean any negative vibrations and energies attracted or created during the proceedings. It is also a good thing to do on a regular basis for both one's self and one's living space, to maintain individual and domestic harmony.
Smudging itself takes many forms.
Sometimes herbs are tied in a bundle called a 'smudge stick' and allowed to dry. Some herbs lend themselves to braiding. In olden times, the end of the smudge stick or braid was lit from the central or cooking fire. Today a candle is recommended as it takes some time to get the stick smoking. Loose dried herbs may also be placed directly onto the burning wood in an indoor fireplace or crumbled between the fingers over a piece of charcoal. The container used for the charcoal and herbs needs to be fireproof. Ceramic or glass bowls with a layer of sand or salt work well. Especially nice is an abalone shell with a layer of colored sand in the bottom. Remember that the container may be come warm enough to scorch a surface or burn your hand.
Things to avoid
The idea behind burning herbs is to release their energy and fragrance, not to fill the room or your lungs with smoke. Make sure the bowl/vessel you use can support the heat that will be produced so it will not crack. Burning excessive amounts can lead to respiratory distress or problems. Avoid smudging in the room when infants, pregnant persons, asthmatic or allergy-prone people are present. Never leave your smudge sticks, candles or charcoal unattended to avoid fire hazards. Blowing into the mixture is not encouraged as it is seen as blowing one's
own negativity into the mixture. The mixture is then wafted around one's self like a smoke bath. When burning a smudge stick or braid, they will eventually go out on their own, but should you need to put them out quickly, you can tamp the end out in sand or soil, shaking off the excess. Using water is messy and not generally recommended.
Spiritual connections
Remember that all things are created from some form of electromagnetic energy/ aura and can merge to bring balance or imbalance. The aura and souls of the plants/herbs and people can merge to this end when smudging. Smudging is often used by healers. During the healing the smoke may be fanned over the person by the healer either using their hand, feathers or a fan. This clears out unhealthy energies and brings in the special attributes of the herbs. There are various invocations, chants, and prayers used during the healing. A spiritual connection is believed to be made between the person and his spirit guides - and between the person and the spirit of the herbs to join and guide in sacred/higher frequency work.
Part of the spiritual work of the plant is to work with human spirits.
When you have the intention to be partners, it enables them to work actively with you and much more of their magic manifests in their lives.

Thank You, WEAREONE!
The 'Nipmuc' Spirits brought my Spirit to life beyond 3d imaginings 5 years ago...and it has been this Spirit that moves me ever since those profound happenings...my original post on the internet a number of years ago giving a brief synopsis...I am Ever Grateful!
This Individual/Higher Connection is taking hold as never ever experienced here on Mother Earth through Great Spirit! Aho!
.......
Hello All!
Wonderful to be aboard!
Love and Light and Harmony to Each and Everyone Here!
I have had one heck of a beautifully energized year. I am sharing a brief outlay of my "direct and personal" experiences so that anyone can "look" into this for themselves if they choose : )
There are many, many, many good things on the way...and each one of us can help the goodness along by simply being the best we can be and the co-creation of love will unfold!
.....
In Synopsis Form:
-Since a child I remember feeling strongly that something was very wrong with the picture in front of me.
-Was immensely distorted by the way many people treated others demeaningly in day to day life.
-I had the inherent eye to eye philosophy...never talk down or look down to anyone.
-Had major issues with what most folks conformed to.
-Jumping to the present, My Mom(83) and My Son(21) went to the other side in June and August of 2003.
Mom went within a month of lung complications...My Son went in a deep sleep of basically choking from snoring apnea.
-Made a conscious decision to turn 180 degrees from energy-input- work-life as I knew it in 3d after the anger subsided from that summer of loss.
-From research on healing, holographics, eastern philosophies, light therapy(man-made)--- I simply decided to start taking in the sunlight visually at sunrise in January of 2007. This intuitive move was made because I basically shrugged my shoulders and accepted that it would simply be a focused benefit regarding 'making a connection' by doing this...even if I were actually putting myself in a guinea pig situation...it did not concern me...I jumped right in on faith and intuition and because I had worked outdoors most all of my adult life building and had had plenty of sun exposure...and I hardly ever wore sunglasses throughout life.
-Three days after starting visual sunrise intake for about a half hour or more I came across Dr. Mitchell Gibson's interview on the Conscious Media Network site.
http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/mgibson.htm
From that interview I was led to other indiginious culture solar tradition and healing research...and well..the rest is history...making adjustments to my method of intake...as in barefoot-earth-contact, sunrise and sunsets, and re-building the time in increments, and taking wind-down gratitude walks afterwards : )
http://www.solarhealing.com/sgprocess.htm
-Now...that first few weeks following my initial solar meditation was, well, rather wild : ) Everything in front of me began to vibrate at a high intensity...colors around me seemed to almost glow, especially in nature. I began to see holographically by simply focusing for just seconds and playing with the contrasts of light. Mostly animal spirits and faces(human and animal) and some human figures and biological-type-glowing figures. Most all felt good and made me smile with enhancement...some darker images(not feeling right to me) appeared very rarely...if I turned away they would simply fade.
-I am on an old farming hill in a town/area in New England where the Nipmuc Indians have a strong history, especially on the lake nearby. [I had said all of my life that the Indians 'had it right' for the most part...and everyone that knew me knew of this feeling of mine.] The area across the street from me (mostly developed now) was actually an Indian cemetery/burial ground. The owner of the home across the street shared with me that he is right at the old entry way...he actually saved the granite pillars that use to mark the entrance and put them on either side of his driveway as respect and honor for their memory. You can see the old pathway to the grounds at the left of his front yard. This is a SACRED HILL. When I first started taking in the light I had a mind-blowing beautiful dream of my Son and Mom and Loved Ones...when I woke from it I was drawn across the street to the entry of the burial grounds.
A path was highlighted in front of me and as I followed it I was taken on top of a rock wall that went thru the woods and was brought to my knees on that wall and spouted out all the names of the loved ones in my life and that brought me to tears...breathing as if I were running a race. When I looked ahead the rock wall went left and right and both directions were highlighted. I had to make a decision of direction...I instinctively chose to the right after that spiritual connection on my knees. I came to a grassy area in the opening and simply fell into a large bowl-type depression in the ground and passed out for a couple minutes. Do not know if this hole was where body remains were dug up and moved or simply someone's backyard where they had dug earth for landscaping. When I came to I gazed at the small tree in front of me and saw an image of an antique "key" glowing in the branches and contrasts. I simply said to myself I am being told "I have the key"!
-A few days after this happening I had a session with a healing therapist an hour and a half away from me. She is connected to the processes(Re-Connective Healing) passed on by Dr. Eric Pearl who also has an interview on the Conscious Media Network site.
http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/epearl.htm
Debbie was tuned in entirely to what had gone on with me and when we met there were very few words but many smiles...I had shared none of what had occurred that day with her prior to this meeting. When I laid down on the table to start my session I automatically put my hands together at the navel touching the thumbs and index fingers and creating an opening as is done in the lotus meditation position. And folks, I was never into any kind of meditation prior to these happenings...never went to a healing therapist never put my hands together for reception of energy...and so on. About a minute into relaxation on the healing table I felt an immense surge of energy coming in thru my hands and into my body at the navel area...and I mean an unbelievable thrust...it actually made my chest expand and my head push back against the pillow. The whole experience was immensely uplifting...as I had talked out loud and connected to My Son, My Mother and other Loved Ones...once again.
-A couple days after that session another intense dream and that "key" was revealed. And Y'All know what it is because You All know what it is...it is that simple. "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" For Ourselves, For Others, For the Spirit World that is here to help Us if We ask and take Loving Action. Later that morning of that dream I was in the backyard chanting "Unconditional Love" jumping up and down like a little kid facing the sun...laughing out loud...saying..."Ok..ok..I get it...I get it...HaHaHa! I had to show Unconditional Love and acceptance towards this energy and enlightenment I was receiving because I was having doubts along the way regarding much of it too.
-When I went inside the message machine on my phone was blinking, played it back...
guess who? : )
It was Debbie, checking in on me, actually laughing in the message while asking, "Are You OK, Dan...just wanted to check in...give me a call if You feel the need.." And then She went on to confirm our next session appointment. Wild and Wonderful Stuff! : )

Now that this thread is properly smudged I will talk about the sweat lodge.
My first sweat was in about 1974 or 75 on a beach in San Deigo, conducted by Black Feet Indians who were on a mission to bring the sweat to anyone who was interested. This was before it was legal for Native Americans to do sacred ceremony in the USA. They were not granted their freedom until 1978 or 79.
From there many sweats I have entered into within many different cultural contexts. I was able to sweat again with the Black Feet in 1976 in Montana when they came to the Rainbow Festival there.
The sweat lodge is oneof the most sacred and most available ceremony of Lakota, Black Feet and other central mountain tribes because it is available to men, women and children and the old.
Through the sweat we reconnect with our sacred mother by going through a prayer ceremony and a rebirth out of her womb.
Its not an easy ceremony but then again, most ceremonies are not particularly easy.
The sweat lodge is composed of a willow limb frame and is traditionally covered with skins to represent mans reliance on the animal kingdom for sustenence. Today its usually covered with quilts or sleeping bags.
The dome shape symbolizes the womb of the great mother. We enter into her in a sacred way seeking healing, growth and vision.
The sweat is conducted by a medicine person who has been trained in the ceremonial aspects and is qualified to handle and conduct the energy that is released within during the ceremonial process. Most sweat lodges are also conducted by a sacred pipe carrier who shares his pipe with others in a ceremonial way. Not all sweat lodges will have pipe ceremony within.
Within the sweat the four directions are honored, and one enters the sweat through the east gate and moves counter clockwise around the sacred hot rock pit in the center of the lodge.
There are generally 4 rounds to a sweat, each honoring the powers and gifts of one of the four directions and it is encouraged that you try to stay for all four rounds but it is not mandetory. Most newcomers to the sweat cannot make it and often they are done after the first or second round. It takes some endurance and acclimation to the ceremony and learning how to be within the mother. Children are generally encouraged to try to sweat.
Ceremonially the direction of the south is honored in the first round to honor our children selves and the children of mother earth in the form of her plants... the color representation here is red and its animal representaion are the fishes... and more popular these days is the dolphin. It is the place of water.
Then west to honor the ancestors and especially the grandmothers and great grandmothers who are the keepers of wisdom, death and transformation, the sitting place of grandmother earth... the color here is black ... its animal repreentation is the black bear and it is the place holder of earth.
Then the north is honored in the third round.. this is the directiono of the color white, and its powers are within science and learning, knowledge and represented in the forms of her animals...its animal representation is the white buffalo and it is the place holder of air.
The east is honored in the fourth round .. and the east is the directon of our enlightement, the sun, illuminations. Grandfather sun....its animal representaiton is the eagle and it is the place holder of fire.
In the center of the lodge is the sacred rock pit and it is the place of alchemy, where our give aways are put and transmuted to the great spirit. It is the place holder of the great spirit, its color is rainbow.
Singing or chanting is done in the sweat with each round and prayers are offered to the greatspirit... each person in the sweat speaks their prayer or story about what they seek help with or redemption from. The pipe, if it is a pipe sweat will be passed.
The sweat's medicine person is responsible for the spiritual and physical safety of all inside the sweat. He commands the opening of the door and determines who can leave and when. A good medicine person will never deny a request to leave the lodge nor make such a requester to feel foolish or weak.. but they are honored for their own self determination. They initaiate the rounds, declare the intent of each round, provide pipe ceremony, help others to open up and generally look after each person in an energetic way.
The fire keeper is an essential member of the sweat lodge. They perform the logistics of heating the sacred rocks and brining them into the sweat when a rock is requested. The hot rocks are energetic forces that bring the healing breath to the lodge though their heat and personal sacred offerings. Rocks may end up controlling the energy of the sweat and the overall outcome which is toned and modified by the Sweat Chief. Fire Chiefs must be long enduring for the task is not easy and the sacred fire outside the sweat is generally large and hot, especially in the summer and the work of preparation starts long before the people enter the lodge. The Sweat Chief is given gifts from the sweaters for his contribution. Tobacco, or food is generally appreciated or gas money to get back and forth. The same types of gifts are given to the Sweat Chief. Just before the sweat begins particpants gather around the sacred fire and dance and sing the fire awake calling it to become sacred for this sweat. They carry with them the prayer ties that they had made earlier, smal tiedl bundles of tobacco that are placed in to the willow branches inside the lodge when they enter. After the sweat is over the Medicine Cheif takes the tobacco ties out and places them in the fire outside of the lodge.
Within the sweat lodge anything goes. There is laughter, tears, moaning, prayer, collapse, expressions of repressed emotion, visions seen, dreams spoken, awakening, revelation, and release of those things that hold people back. Its a very VERY powerful experience as each direction brings a new energy to the focus of the sweat.
There is quite a bit more to know about the sweat lodge experience and all the little things that occur to make the total experience. An understanding of the medicine wheels makes the sweat more profound and the alchemy of the work more powerful.
There are variations of sweat ceremonial ritual. Not all tribes do it the same and the colors and powers may rest in different directions but generally, the alchemy is the same. It is not worth to quibble over the differences for it degrades the sacredness of the ceremony which is equal to all those who practice.
and this is my sweat story as given to me by the elders before me.

I have past life experience as a apache chiricahua ... so how exactly does that bloodline run when adding in past lives???
I am a bit fuzzy on that one ...
the truth of the matter is that we are all mixed blood, we are all rainbow people.
the bondage of races was shattered long ago, but the myth remains as a bondage yet in the hearts of many.

Well one thing is sure the Britishs, Spaniards and Portugueses had a Mindset created by their rulers that not only agreed on the notion of being superior, hum.. reminds me of a religion.
You cannot disregard at all the active approbation of the majority of the pale faces.

History behind the history that is commonly remembered goes something like this: common people get along with each other and that has been the case everywhere...race or religion doesn't matter. While the powers that be like to make out that instances of people getting along with each other are exceptional...I do not believe that history of the common people will show this is true. The first settlers in America called the native people "prairie aristocrats" meaning they thought highly of them. Before the slave trade got up and running in America there were black and white farmers working together peacefully; when the British first started sending Englishmen over to Ireland the English got along so well with the Irish that they became hibernicized and started sticking their tonques out at England; at a trial during the Inquisition a Spaniard remarked "if I was born a Turk; I would think like a Turk"...I am sure the list is endless. What happens is this (and it is still going on today)...the powers that be attempt to separate people by propaganda and by instilling fear of the other group by sicking their perverts and psychopaths on them; they also, at the same time attempt to mix groups with each other that have huge philosophical differences (pre-programming) which makes it more difficult to get along. If none of that works, the powers that be create their own groups in order to cause problems such as Wahhabi or Al Qaeda. I assume that the powers that be ARE themselves psychopathic otherwise, why would it not be the case that the majority's natural desire to live in peace is not protected and encouraged in the others who are less intelligent or more inclined to be fearful.

All systems, wheter religious or social that affirms and cultivate the notion of being superior to others either by religions, cultures, economy, knowledge, races and languages are the insidious creatives forces of destruction.
Synchretism in Religions, banishing notions of casts or class via Mutual Solidarity, empower each Cultures of the Wisdom of other Cultures, stop privatising profits and socialised the charges. May Science understand once and for all that it is only one perspective, one dimensinal not Truth enshrined, as for the races... well we all have red blood and for languages it is a wealth for humanity.
As long as the belief of Superiority or ''Being Chosen'' last and is being promote, propagate and nurture ''Peace'' is far.

Shamanism is a system for psychic, emotional, and spiritual healing and for exploration, discovery, and knowledge gathering about non-material worlds and states of mind. Anthropologists have identified shamanistic practices in tribal cultures, ancient and modern, throughout the world. Shamanism is a "technique of ecstasy" (Mircea Eliade) in which the spirit of the shaman leaves the body and travels to communicate with spirit helpers and other beings for the purpose of obtaining knowledge, power, or healing. However, the shaman usually retains control over his or her body. In many cultures, a shaman is chosen or called, sometimes by healing him- or herself of a serious illness.
Shamanic journeying is an altered state of consciousness wherein you enter a realm called "non-ordinary reality." By journeying, you can gather knowledge and perform healing in ways that are not accessible in ordinary waking reality.
Shamanic healing is a process whereby a person journeys on behalf of another, and brings back information or instructions that can be used to provide psychic/emotional/spiritual healing to another person.
How does shamanism work?
Some people think that in shamanic journeying, the spirit leaves the body, and in shamanic healing, a person is being healed by spirit helpers. Others think that shamanic journeying allows access to one's own intuition, which may otherwise be drowned out by the prattle of everyday thinking, or by anxiety; and that shamanic healing is a way of engaging a person's subconscious desires for healing. I think that as long as it works (which it does, for many people), it doesn't much matter which way you explain it. Use the way that's most comfortable for you.
The shamanic view of health.
In the system of shamanism that I work with, there are four aspects to psychic/emotional/spiritual health. If there is a problem with any of these aspects fails, shamanic techniques can be used to help restore strength. Note that shamanic healing may not cure physical or psychologicalillness, but it may help one gain psychic energy that will allow one better to handle illness. Shamanic healing therefore is best used in conjunction with other treatments, not as a substitute for them.
1. Connection with a power animal
A power animal protects you physically and provides you with emotional support, wisdom, and vital energy. Some people think a power animal is a spirit being that stays with you because it cares for you and enjoys being able to experience life in a physical body. Others think a power animal is a symbol for one's subconscious wisdom. almost everybody has a power animal; some have several. (Perhaps you had an "invisible animal friend" as a child or have always been fascinated with a particular kind of animal. This animal may be your power animal.) A person may, in the course of life, lose contact with the power animal, thereby losing the animal's protection, wisdom, and energy. If you lose contact with your power animal, you may feel disspirited, you may become sick easily, or you may be accident-prone. The shamanic healing technique of power animal retrieval can restore a person's connection to a power animal. A person can also journey to find his or her own power animal. To maintain a connection with your power animal, take the time to learn about your animal, learn to feel its presence, communicate with it, and honor it by doing things that it enjoys.
2. Retaining one's life essence
Life essence is the energy that keeps you going, keeps you interested in life, in learning, and in challenge. Life essence keeps you healthy and contented and allows you to trust yourself. However, in traumatic situations, whether they be ongoing (such as child abuse) or singular (such as an auto accident), a part of one's life essence can leave. This is normal: it helps one avoid the full emotional effect of the trauma. Usually life essence returns once the danger and shock of the trauma are past. But sometimes a person can't reconnect with zir life essence after such an event: part of the life essence is "lost." A person who has lost part of zir life essence might feel lacking in energy, depressed, ill, untrusting. The person might feel an "energy leak," might become extremely involved in spiritual matters to the detriment of ordinary life, might become obsessed with the trauma, might feel something is missing.
A shamanic healer can find and retrieve one's life essence. This healing technique is called soul retrieval. A person who reconnects with lost life essence often finds that life changes afterward.
3. Free flow of emotional and physical energy
Health requires a free flow of energy that one can use to accomplish one's desires in the world. But one's energy can become blocked in various ways.
People who have lost parts of their life essence, who have been ill, who have lost connection with a power animal, or who are regularly exposed to emotionally stressful situations are vulnerable to intrusions or "psychic infections" that block a person's connection with self or drain a person's energy. An intrusion can be thought of either as a foreign energy being that takes up residence in a person's psychic body (a psychic infection), or as a psychic structure (an emotional wall or barrier) that a person built to keep zirself safe from harm, but that now is blocking some of his/her energy expression. A person with an intrusion might feel drained or ill, might have aches and pains, might have nightmares or other fears. A shamanic healer can find and remove intrusions and barriers in a healing ritual called extraction.
4. A sense of purpose
A sense of purpose is necessary to happiness. The person who loves and cares about the world and fellow beings, who wants to make some small part of the universe a better place, has a sense of purpose. A person can find a sense of purpose in life by seeking knowledge and direction through shamanic journeys, divinations, and rituals. One can do this alone, or with a group of people engaged in similar quests. A shamanic healer or counselor can't find another person's purpose, but can help one seek and interpret information.

June 04, 2009 Thoughts about St. Theresa Point Via C-Health: Swine flu cases on remote Manitoba reserve a 'wake-up call': chief. Excerpt: It's still not clear how swine flu reached the reserve, [Chief David] McDougall said. But he added the spread of the illness has likely been exacerbated by the shortage of housing and cramped quarters. "It's common for 12 people to be living in a two-bedroom bungalow," he said at a news conference in Winnipeg on Thursday. "We know that's prime breeding ground for viruses such as this one. "It's a wake-up call for everyone. This is an emergency and a catastrophe waiting to happen. Now we're seeing it." Provincial and federal governments have sent more doctors and nurses to the remote community, which is 500 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg and accessible only by air. But officials have so far refused to say much about the outbreak in St. Theresa Point - even with the community's chief. Elise Weiss, Manitoba's acting chief public health officer, said Thursday there were two more confirmed cases of swine flu in the province - including one more from the vast health region which includes St. Theresa Point. The new cases brought the total number provincewide to 40. Since virtually all communities probably have some form of swine flu, specific communities are not being identified, she said. "Public health advice does not change whether you are in community A, B or C." Someone needs to take Ms. Weiss aside for a quiet word about the role of good communication in fighting a serious disease outbreak. Not identifying the communities amounts to a cover-up, and Manitoba Health also needs to have a quiet word with their public-relations experts. I talked to Chief McDougall yesterday, and he struck me as an intelligent man handling a major crisis with more competence than our provincial and federal health authorities. His point about housing on First Nations reserves is a good one, but not a new one. We have known for decades that most reserves have scandalously bad housing. The water's not drinkable. Primitive heating guarantees many house fires, especially in winter, with many awful deaths of adults and children. Somehow our federal governments, Liberal and Conservative alike, have found the strength to ignore this problem. No doubt they will continue to do so.
