View Full Version : The Chuckle Squad: A Funny Solution to a Serious Problem.

A lightbulb has gone off in my head regarding the true purpose of false love and light.
I'm coming to realize that the false love and light movement has always been about co-opting something pure and then perverting it into a weak, synthetic parody of itself.
It's not just love and light they do this with, but food, culture, money etc.
They take the real, then give you the fake. You get the paper, they get the gold. You get the GMO beef, they get organics. You get religion, they get wisdom.
In fact, this inversion/perversion trick seems like their singular move. In many ways they are a bit of a one trick pony.
I always had a sense that false love and light was creepy, but I never really saw the danger in it.
But now I get it. Now I see why it’s a problem. They've essentially done a switcheroo on all of us.
While we weren't looking, they've substituted our real swords for cardboard ones, so that we have nothing sharp to cut through the bulls*@t with.
They've taken, by and large, our real food, our real humanity, and our real ability to take apart and digest what we see.
This, to me, suggests a parasitical entity that craves a more or less fully compliant ‘host’. It suggests to me there’s something about us in our pure form or natural state that they cannot handle.
Which brings me to the thought of non-compliance.
There are lots of ways to not comply. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t. But so far, none of the methods we’ve used have worked overly well. Shouting in the streets, writing letters, bumper stickers, malotov cocktails, revolutions.
They’ve all fallen short.
But, here’s a new method that just might do the trick: laughing heartily and mightily directly and publicly into the face of power wherever and whenever it speaks.
I’m not talking about snickering to oneself on the sofa while watching the president’s speech. I mean getting organized into Chuckle Squads.
I know it sounds funny. Well, it is a bit funny.
But, here’s why I think it would work.
They seem to thrive on the contrived solemnity, the bowing and scraping and earnestness of us all nodding along and singing every other (remembered word) of our respective national anthems. They need our buy-in, our tacit consent.
They need us to take them seriously.
They need us standing by the motorcade and smiling and shouting pleasantries at the Duke as he drives by. They need us to kiss the ring, salute, etc.
Laughing would take all of the solemnity out of their public performances.
It would make their public rituals impossible for them. It would ultimately make their rule impossible.
The Spell could then be broken.
People would start to hear how foolish they looked and sounded. Their every public appearance would be accompanied by a massive laugh-track.
Presidential speeches, press conferences, political rallies, hearings, corporate ribbon cutting ceremonies.
At all of them a small groups of 15 or so people laughing at every half-truth or outright lie spoken at any of these events would have a massive impact.
It could be pretty powerful.
And you woudn’t have to be in Washington or London or Paris for the big world events, you could get together in your local towns and cities. There’s plenty of hypocrisy there.
Form a local Chuckle Squad.
Plan nights out.
For the State of the Union speech, get together with 10 or 15 people and go to a pub, like a Super Bowl party, and order some food and just let peels of laughter fly in every direction every time POTUS says something ludicrous.
Make you-tube videos of your Chuckle Squad laughing in response to these speeches and events. Put them up.
Just an idea.

Laughter may be the best medicine, indeed.
I agree with your assessment about the concepts being co-opted. It's just like Modwiz said in another thread; if it can't be made to replicate 'the virus', it is rendered sterile.

I agree. It's definitely their M.O. Co-opt and corrupt.
BTW, there have been quite a few good threads and excellent individual posts lately here on Avalon. Modwiz and 9Eagle9 come immediately to mind. Others have, for sure, also been a big part of this.
For sure, there has been an effort lately to put a lot of good information out and to present it in a way that people can find it and understand it.
It's been a good time to be a member.

The new age, the powers that be and those who host that mentality LIKE to be taken seriously. Rational people can't be controlled if they are not serious with the program.
Laughing people are typically out of control people.
I know I can't take anything seriously when I'm laughing

Thoughtful thread and it's a great psychological stroke. It would work if implemented. Drama kings and queens may provide resistance, LOL.
BTW. Not sure molotov cocktails have been tried enough. They really seem to work wonders on those guys in body armour.

When I was in the military and the instructors would scream when they stood right in front of me I couldn't help but grin. It's ridiculous when a grown-up man behaves like this and thinks this expresses his authority. I find it pathetic and laughable. Might have helped that I didn't feel physically intimidated either, but anyways, this grinning at them really freaked them out. My sergeant group leader, when I was laughing about some stuff during a lesson, where he couldn't figure out why I was laughing again, he openly said, he's afraid of me. Go figure, and he was a real macho actually, a smoking and drinking athlete, always telling stories about women.
I just found this whole institution, the military, so bizarre, everywhere you were looking it was actually a joke. How could mature adults do all those things that they did? I mean, if they would have been real warriors, who would train really hard and professionally, that would have been a different thing, but it was so lax, pathetic, and stupid. One day we repeated pulling on ABC protection suit, and you had to make it in less than ten seconds. As if putting this thing on a second faster would make a difference then, or as if I would fight as a military soldier in a nuclear war, I mean come on. A sergeant got mad at me for not taking this lesson serious. Another day we were on an obstacle course and my sergeant would call my name, while I was running over a pole, I then stopped and responded just to hear him tell me that I should stop grinning.
Do you know this warrior's grin? When you work out hard or are in a physically challenging situation, at some point, people either fold or they get this somewhat crazed look in their eyes often accompanied by a grin. They love the rush, just feels so alive. It's like "getting into the zone" as they say in sports and stuff. This sounds contrived now, but you can even learn this and even move it to an "inner smile," here is one from Mantak Chia, who I can very much recommend, wrote a great deal of very good books: Inner Smile Practice (http://www.universal-tao.com/article/smile.html).
Anyways, they want us to be timid, meek, and passive. Now whether we laugh, or we get loud like an Alex Jones, or whatever, so many good options. Just don't buy into their programming. :)

Hey Chris, that reminds me of a funny when I was in Navy bootcamp. After being able to lay low and virtually unnoticed by my 5'3" company commander for 6+ weeks, he finally got around to giving me a good face to face (sort of) chewing out while we were standing at attention in formation one day. I'm 6'2'', and it was all I could do to not start busting out laughing, seeing him practically having to jump up and down to come close to yelling in my face.
It was like: "REALLY???" http://www.bigtenfever.com/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif

Just an idea.Curtis, this is a brilliant opening post, on two counts:
the recognition of them co-opting that which is real and substituting something bogus*
and
the idea of chipping away at the foundations of their artificial edifice - with directed laughter
Just brilliant! If the idea spread far and wide, there would be no need to form squads - it could erupt organically from any crowd where a few laugh-in-your-tyrannical-face types were present.
*(this makes me think of the lines in the Pink Floyd song "Wish You Were Here":
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

Thanks, Dennis. That would be great if it could end up being totally spontaneous. There's no reason it couldn't. Laughter is infectious, almost like a sympathetic response. A few brave, good natured souls in any given situation could start a round of raucous laughter that could catch a whole crowd.
Plus, I bet if people put up you tube videos of their squads laughing at PTB in various situations, it would show other people how it's done and it could break down barriers for others to do the same.
Thanks for the Pink Floyd Lyric. I'm coming to appreciate them very late. But, better late than never.

Until you laugh in the face of someone who doesn't 'feel' like they have their mind...
....then its not funny anymore. (he..he)
(laff)
So that would pose a challenge....for those want to laugh in 'their' face, can you risk being laughed at yourself?

Lol. I clicked the video on and the disembodied voice of daughter called from the next room. Mom! Are you listening to Charlie the Unicorn!
Yeah.
Why the hell are listening to that?! You ARE listening to Charlie the Unicorn. Come here I want to talk to you.
It pretty much sums up the annoyance the new age movement stirs in those who don't like sweets.

Let someone with experience being laughed at speak...
Oh, wait, that's me!
Humiliation is one of the tools 'their' mind uses to keep people in line...no one wants to be embarassed or laughed at, right? So keep those ridiculous comments to yourself...not.
Some of the things I do and say are pretty silly, even to me when I think about it...so why shouldn't people laugh at me. I just laugh along. I do screw up pretty often.

Not to fear If someone is using their mind it's laff worthy because its usually irrational to begin with.
People in their correct mind usually have enough to discernment to know from fake created drama pain (the bait for their mind to get energy)
and someone who is seriously suffering.
People in their right mind can usually laff at their own doooorfs. Their mind has a hard time with it. In order to breed it must be taken seriously.

Thanks Modwiz. It's good to have the wizard's blessing. :wizard:
I look forward to seeing where this can go. I'm envisioning something straight from the heart and done from necessity-a free flowing laughter, not mocking or sardonic. Just easy, genuine sweet-release laughter. Instead of the tightness in the chest feeling when listening to a ridiculous lie, just let it rip, transform it into a gut laugh. There's so much power, so much potential for transformation there.

Thanks, Fred. I'm hoping it's an idea people can pick up and run with as they see fit.
It can be used, changed, played around with and modified.
It's something I'm going to do some more thinking about for myself. And with any luck, if the concept makes sense for other people, they might decide to pick it up and run with it. Take it for a spin and see if it works.
I would love to be surfing through youtube one day in the not too distant future and see a series of Chuckle Squad style videos with people from all over the world bringing the idea to life in a thousand different ways.

Me and my friends play a game called "Mustache T.V." Here are the rules:
Choose a program of your choice (State of the Union, Presidential Debate, talk show, etc.)
Cut out 2-3 funny moustaches on black paper and tape them on strategic places on your television.
When someone's face lines up with the mustache perfectly, take a drink of your alcohol of choice (if you don't drink, then just enjoy the show!)
If a mustache lines up with someone who already dons facial hair, then drink twice!
Here is a link that describes the game in further detail. (http://www.themustachegame.tv/)
There is no better way to mock Political nonsense than to play this game. Believe me, it is a hoot!
