Since the events of 9/11, the information flow from a majority of US Government agencies as almost ceased to exist on certain subject areas, indeed if not all.
Information which was once freely given is now restricted and non accessible. With terrorism raising its ugly head, in the Middle East and now on the African continent, we shall see the restrictions on freedom of information and people’s liberty being undermined even further.
The results of terrorist activities may of stemmed from the cold war, and what some believe to be a uneven hand from the western powers and the eastern bloc during this period and afterwards, using these countries as chess pieces in a deadly game.

Russia and the USA are currently embroiled in a war for gas and oil routes and rights in the Middle East and Africa.
I see no current hope of this changing. Let's pray it doesn't escalate through espionage, media misleading, etc.
We have had a rough rough 12 months of politics this year, it was a crazy year for seers, etc......

I said in another thread today,
did you know that on 9/11 1777 George Washington lost a very important battle to Britain, the Battle of the Brandywine?
:(
I wondered if the 9-11 and 7-7 nonsense stems from this.
Thanks for info LOL! :D
fight the good fight
p.s. Palestine and Israel were created by lies, conflicting agreements made by the British!
See for yourself, the conflict between israel and palestine was UKs fault all along.
They needed their damned land bridge to India after all.

Another decade of war has been predicted, because we took our eye of the ball and tried to nation build rather that deal with terrorist activities. Our freedom's to travel may also come under the gaze of those in power, since they (terrorists) will look for a soft target, so our movements may in the future be restricted...is this whats coming?

Since the events of 9/11...
...
The results of terrorist activities ...
... rather that deal with terrorist activities. ...
Excuse me, do you believe in terrorism? I mean, alQaeda as the world's bogeymen, bogeyman?
I don't. The only terrorism I have seen has been perpetrated by your government and mine (mostly mine.) As the BBC documentary (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gRZM2N56dg) tries to show, "terrorists", especially "alQaeda" were a deliberate fabrication of the Ruling Bastards. Just a ruse. A deadly ruse that has changed life for most of us, and ended life for millions.

There is always a focus for self centered interests as I have stated previously, it was WW2, then Communist and now Terrorism, self generated or not. In 20 years in may be something else, to justify the military and intelligence budgets. What if the roles were reverse, don't you think it will be actually the same attitude, it depends who holds the power, it still is a political, religious, economic and social behaviors, and that is universal.

... What if the roles were reverse, don't you think it will be actually the same attitude, it depends who holds the power, it still is a political, religious, economic and social behaviors, and that is universal. If I understand your question correctly, and a role reversal would mean citizens without ties to the Financial Elite would take over in positions of power, then no, I believe that is actually the answer to reversing the trends.
I do believe/understand that if nothing is done in the electoral system (I'm sure it is equally bad in the UK as it is in the US), then only the minions of corporatocracy are allowed to get on the ballot and they are the only ones that get the financial and (critical) mass media support to have a chance to be elected. So, if the idea of replacing government employees tied to the Financial Elite with a new batch of government employees tied to the Financial Elite is considered as a 'role reversal', then no, nothing would change.
I have heard people talk about the innate corrupt nature of man, and I don't believe it. The systems we use now to "find" candidates were designed by the Financial Elite to "find" candidates that support their agenda, so we see the same behavior over and over and become confused that this is the nature of man. It's not. Most of us are not sociopaths, and if we were smart enough to only elect people with ZERO ties to the Financial Elite, and institute rules* that would prevent the elected officials from being able to "game" the system for personal gain, the sincere good people with citizen-centric views would fill Parliament and Congress - and we would be living in a completely different (and much better) world.
*(In the US, it would be outlawing lobbying, not allowing public officials to have the built-in conflict of interest of owning corporate stock nor allowing them to own any for a few years after leaving office, plus equating "collusion" with "treason" in our constitution - to prevent the backroom deals that comprise our congress' current way of conducting affairs.)
If I didn't believe a "role reversal" would significantly, profoundly, magnificently change the world, (and would be just another changing of the guard), then I would not be fighting to remove the corrupt from office and replace them with ordinary citizens.
