Where do you sit and contemplate?

The Red River in Quebec...a discovery made a few years ago, and we return to at least 6 times a year. Richard and i like to go on day drives in the mountains. As we were winding our way thru the road...

I find any place that has a good distance from cell phone towers, power lines and other electromagnetic pollution (which is getting increasingly more difficult these days).
Wooded areas near a natural body of water are preferable, as water seems to amplify 'input' and 'output'.
Although I do just go out and meditate on a whim, I often chooses times that coincide with particular astronomical events or alignments that may benefit that which I am trying to accomplish.
My favorite times of all are the periods just after rain-showers and storms, there is just something about thunder storms that makes the air feel so clean and pure, and the energy that it imbues on the area is so vitalizing and uplifting. Great time for energy work, meditation or prayer.

This is one of my favorite places that I miss greatly. The pic is not so good, but the vast vistas of lotuses on the water is breathtaking in person.

My favourite place is Natural Arch in Queensland Australia. I try and get up there as often as possible and sit quietly to feel the energy of the place:
