greetings all :) :)
i live in the cusco area of peru at roughly 13 degrees south and 72 degrees west
i have had this nagging feeling for a couple months that the ecliptic path has moved/changed toward the north/south ...
mostly simply by where the sunlight/moonlight path from the skylights has been hitting in the house and an occasional glimpse of the orbs themselves through the clouds .... in addition it seems that sunset has been a little later ... 15-20 min or so
early yesterday evening i did get a very good visual on the nearly full moon low in the north eastern sky and it very much seemed to me quite in a more northerly location than i recall
any thoughts would be much appreciated
thank you very much
much peace

Hi Meli!!!
Yer not goin nuts, you are correct, in your observations. The Sun and moon are now both doing crazy things in the day and night time skies. With all of the 2012 hullabalu going on, it seems that nobody is even paying attention, to that which is right in front of their face, and nobodys' talkin about it. I, like you, have noticed, that things are not as they used to be.
I am retired, live alone, with my little Boston Terrier, who likes to go out to do her "thing", at all hours of the day and night, which means that I spend a good deal of my time walking around out there, with nothing to do but look up, and try to figure out where all of those crazy constelations are. My favorites, that I first learned to spot, as a little kidd, are the "Big Dipper", and "North Star", that it points to. (Oct./Nov., 2011) They changed. Suddenly. They moved. About 10-15 degrees higher in the night sky, than I have ever seen them. The North star is used in navigation, because it is so stable, and "Never" moves. The only way that it could move, is for the Earth to rotate further North, on its' axis, which means that it would also move further South, on its' axis, in the day time sky, which it did. The movement of both the Sun and Moon are now showing this "tilt". Everyone is screaming about a Magnetic Pole shift, and yet we have had a visable Axis shift, and ain't nobody sayin a word about it.
Except for a few of us here on PA. , and a few comments I've found on YouTube about it, nobodys' talkin. MSM ain't sayin a word. Escpecially NASA, who sould be all over it.
Also something I've noticed, is how science keeps talking about how big the Moon is, because it's closer than it's ever been, and yet I keep wondering why it suddenly looks so small!!?? Again, nobody pays much attention to what I feel is so blatantly obvious. I used to marvel at how big the Moon looked, and now it's just this punny little thing up there.
These are just some of my personal observations, but I am far from being an expert on any of this, so I have no way of proving any of it. But... I am a Taurus, and like things to stay put, and ain't nothin, where its' sposed to be, any longer.
I live in the NW US, and am quite happy now, to find someone in Peru, who is noticing the same things that I am. HEY!!! I KNOW!!! You are my "proof"! Now I can say see, told ya, I'm not the only one noticin, that somethin ain't right. Thanx Meli!!! You just made my day!!! Sure am glad you posted this!
If we just Love everything Unconditionally, I'm sure that everthing, will work out just fine, in the end. chuckle chuckle

wow !!! thank you for sharing
i have been in the valley for almost four years and at my current home for two and with the andean ridges and peaks framing us it is easy to begin to have familiar bearings and such for whichever direction one gazes or travels towards
this past year didn't venture around as much as before, nonetheless believe i have good reference points so to speak and will definitely be on the lookout !!! (weather permitting ;) ;) especially when the southern cross begins to appear
also will be on the hunt for types of astronomical reference info as well
and who knows, perhaps it is simply my normally reliable internal compass that is out of whack :D :D
