View Full Version : Secret Batplane Filmed Near Area 51

A possible secret aircraft was filmed over Area 51 in Nevada and looks more like something out of a Batman movie.

This was caught on video by a man who supposedly has a cabin near Groom Lake.

The cabin, which is nestled between several mountainous peaks, makes it difficult to capture images of aircraft for more than a few seconds at a time.

What do you think Raf... real or fake?

Peace...

Thanks Skywizard very interresting if genuine....Looks like an advanced
prototype fighter....

A side note....Bob nevritt said last night on his show, area 54 Wright Patterson is where all the real toys are kept.

To me looks like a variation on the Su-37 perhaps some kind of joint US/Russia project perhaps?

Don't laugh but, it looks like an x-wing fighter right out of the Star Wars movie ...

The sounds this plane made, I believe it sounds more like a well armed drone....

It shape seems to imply the use of stealth technology. Yet it seems odd they would test such an aircraft over a populated area.

-------

Two things to note about this very unusual aircraft (if it's real!):

1) It appears to be armed with four missiles (i.e. it'd be close to being operational, and not just an early test flight).

2) What would usually be a rear vertical tailfin appears to be in the middle of the aircraft. If so, this would be a truly radical design.

whats MOST important is to take note of is the sound it makes as it passes.

What a weird design:

Two "tail" fins in a V shape at the fore of the craft and with an inverted silhouette from conventional tail fins

X-shape "wing-tips"

Interesting... from what I can deduce from the likely air-flow, the "tail-fins" are also used as short fore wings which deflect the air flow towards the "wing-tips" which, therefore, end up being used as wings as well.

Me thinks this craft can fly on its "side" -- or "sideways" -- without falling down...

With inverted you mean it looks like they are placed backward? Yeah, that is strange. Not logical.
From the moving images we know in which direction it flies. And the four missiles give away in
which direction it must be flying.

@Bill: the missiles could very well be dummies. They are needed on a test flight too to simulate the 'real' situation.

It looks like the wings have extended flaps needed to fly at low speed (preventing it from stalling). It is almost
to good to be true. It looks like it's fly by was almost a request to be filmed.

Forward swept wings are actually quite effective: the German-built Hansa private jet used them, and also the experimental X-29 jet NASA built a few decades ago. Even the Mooney light aircraft has a distinctive trademark "backward" tail.

When I was a kid my friends & I would make "space planes" by mashing up 2 or 3 different model aircraft kits, this looks very much like that to me.

If its real I would say its a drone that is designed for high speed, high maneuverability (more "G"s than a human pilot could take ) air to air combat.

Near MacArthur Park in Los Angeles is the Asbury Apartments. The rooftop sign calling out the Asbury can be seen for blocks like many of the other hotel and apartment building signs in the area.

Far from "Area 51" is the intro to this video. A lot of boutique digital fx houses in that area- just west of downtown LA by the Asbury.

The clip I posted was from a longer video about UFOs. The lead in is where they were looking at or for a UFO. I’m sure the video was edited because my clip was at the end of the longer video and was sent to them from a source who supposedly has a cabin somewhere near Groom Lake (so they say).

That’s why I wanted Raf. to look at it, he can usually tell if it’s a fake or not.

My guess is a drone although it’s kind of large (looking at the missiles).

Sounded like a RC drone to me to be honest.

About six months ago i bumped into some really weird futuristic looking Asian rc airplanes, jet powered, electric powered and turbine powered, cant seem to find them now, it was on youtube.

Cool little vid though, but i was under the impression 3th phase of moon was a bs site, they have some interesting footage nevertheless.

Not what i was looking for but you get the the idea when you have seen these suckers.

I am also betting my sweet @ss that 8 out of 10 sightings over cities of "blinking hovering lights" are rc quadcopter drones in various shapes and sizes, just go on youtube and see what the average dude can build is his own garage, and what hobbyists are coming up with, you will be absolutely amazed, so if that does not make one think what well funded high tech research facilities are capable off i dont know what will, anyway, a lot of garage enthousiasts come up with airworthy strange airframe shapes that will do the job just fine. Add a better powersource and just scale em up and add fly by wire or more advanced and here you go, an ufo is born in the eyes of the unsuspecting observer.

My guess would be some type of drone. Although I'm skeptical about anything coming out of Area 51. It seems to easy to trick people with fake aircrafts and what not and they're all watching the base. Either to cover-up different locations or the nature of the work that currently takes place at Area 51.
