View Full Version : My mind now becomes numb when I read accounts about ET races' and their history.

Sorry. I'm tired of the detailed supposed history of ET interactions here and elsewhere in this galaxy. (This is a response to a thread I just read here.)

It's most likely just talk. Nothing more. I'm tired of reading these accounts of what is supposedly actual history. By making the account full of detail, this makes it believable. Or not.

But I'm not saying non-humans haven't played a very big role in our history. I'm just saying that I am extremely skeptical of people that report a detailed history of ET here on Earth and in this galaxy. They usually just want to be listened to is my opinion.

Reality is a dream passing through a shadow of a memory.

I think I have always taken channeled information with a grain of salt, and yet have never completely been able to dismiss it. There isn't always a clear line between fiction and nonfiction. We try to glean different truths out of the two, but we need to live with more uncertainty and ambiguity: if we read these histories of our galaxy, there are things to be appreciated there. Perhaps it is best to file this info as "probable fiction" while realizing that our creative subconscious does have a unique connection to reality.

I feel you midnight, I'm not as interested in the details as I used to be...just the ones pertinent to what I really am interested in: the intent of those beings, as well as the intent of those that relate stories of such beings.

There does seem to be merit to channeled information. Abraham/Ester Hicks, The Course of Miracles, Delores Cannon. Just a few examples. It's really hard to argue the concepts in CoM.
