They are Obama's favorite weapon.
They can move together in swarms,
build towers, dance, throw and catch,
assess targets and soon will even make
their own decisions. Both in war and
at home, drones are developing fast
and gaining control.

Nathan Wessler, a civil rights lawyer,
strongly argues that the US using
drones to kill targets in countries like
Yemen despite not being in a state of
war with them could lead to serious
repercussions. "It is really a dangerous
precedent. The technology of drones is
not that complicated and there are
dozens of nations developing it."

Future drones will be able to
independently find targets and decide
to attack. As Iran lays its hands on a
US spy drone, which experts in this
report argue they are "perfectly capable
of copying", has an uncontrolled new
arms race already begun?

A vile, egregious assault on human beings and should not be tolerated. It will thrill me to no end should long rifle barrels peek out of the woods and shoot down these devil's weapons.

Does anyone see the familarity to starwars thats happening?.... first comes the drones( droids) owned by the trade federation (global corporations) then comes the clones to fight the drones created by the republic which is under one ruler who first created the problem of the drones(droids).

I met and talked with someone about 18 months ago, in California, who had worked in a classified program to create surveillance drones the size of insects.

Here's a short article about these "mini" drones.

Funny, if there are any Get Smart fans here, Control had a fly spy which Max accidentally destroyed. The concept is nothing new.

Three years ago, I saw a flock of "fake birds" fly directly over my house. I also saw a "fake" dragonfly fly through the garden center where I was employed at the time. More recently, a full size drone, about the size of a small helicopter, flew directly over me, outside near my garage, not 20 feet off the ground. A shame I did not have my phone on me at the time. My guess it that many many orbs we see in the night sky are drones. God only knows what kind of programming they have for these things. Now I have seen (online) the mosquito drone.

As far as I can tell the 'device' in the photo is mock up (possibly digital), correct me if I am wrong.

Not sure it would show depth of field distortion if it was digital ?

Besides, if someones "thought" of it --- then it's in the works.

Thanks for posting that video, Camilo.

However, the ACLU attorney in that video does not mention the fact that Anwar al Awlaki was an American citizen, born in America. Not only an American born citizen, but looks like he was also a double/triple CIA asset agent that was murdered using a drone strike by the Obama Administration, in what looks like a move to cover up its own U.S. created rendition of an "Operation Gladio" that's been let loose onto the world stage ...

If the government gets away with this one, then we all will be sitting in deep doo-doo in the very near term.
