New Sunspot 1108 / Solar Update (September 16)

Solar activity has been at very low levels the past 24 hours, however that could change as a fairly large sunspot is now rotating into view on the eastern limb. The X-Ray Flux indicates multiple B-Class flares and there could be a chance for a C-Class flare. This region should be numbered 1108 later today.Sunspot 1106 persists in the southern hemisphere, but remains fairly quiet.
