The Native American Indians. Of One Of The first people to live in America. Living off of the bountys that Mother Earth provided to them. Like a Buffalo, a Deer, a Racoon, a Bear or an Eagle. No boundaries, No banks, No gas stations, No Monsanto,,,, just living off a great land once they were. But where are they today, and how do they function on such a reservation. In this video you'll find out.

The opening words from Russel Means, you know when your stuck in a concentration camp like the indian reservations, there are no rights on the reservation, none. This brought a tear to my eye. What has the american government done to this free and independent race of human beings?

The Lakota people were among the most successful fighters for freedom in the USA. But their land was eventually stolen, their language for years was forbidden to be taught in schools, and their freedom existed only on paper. This story was filmed during the first week of August in 2011 on the territory of Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. This is official land of the Oglala Lakota Nation.

Every year in August, Lakota people come to Pine Ridge from all over the world to celebrate their culture and traditions at the annual powwow. On the contrary of joy and happiness even during holiday there is a place for grief and misery. Many people have alcohol problems, there are no jobs or good housing. Lakota people are still fighting for their rights. But that gets harder to do every year.

Some Day their rights will be given back, to what was taken away.

So sad to think of what it was and what it is now.I would give up everthing in a heart beat to go back to the prairie days. The white man really screwed up everything when they took the land from the Indians instaed of living with them and learning there way and beliefs now instead of worshipping and Eagle and what it stands for we worship the nuclear bomb and all the powers that come with it.

Not only did the Whiteman do a great injustice to The American Indian. Its apparent that the snake is swallowing its own tail.
A great quote here by Russel Means " The United States is one big reservation, and we are all in it." This makes you think a bit, dont it?

This is the one reason I believe it would be a good thing if something major came and shut the grid down, permanently. Start from scratch. yes many would parish, but we now know, when we die, its just a new beginning, not the end. Mother earth needs a chance. Native americans, had it right, white man, came and took, and they are still taking. I am ashamed to share their dna.

Sad, move in , take the land, change the language, change religion, change the dress code, change the culture, all work and no hunting for food, clothes, and shelter, and harmony with nature... Now you pay for everything , spend your time working making money to buy things you used to make yourself ...enter concrete , rules for travel , permits, smog, war, cut down trees for roads ...extinct the food source, totally out of balance with nature and break the spirits of the people ...

I am a fan of Russell Means. He had some great insights. It did not appear that he had any residual anger toward the "white man", but showed us through his videos (especially his last few) that what had happened to the American Indians was now happening to all Americans --- we have been raped and pillaged by those in POWER and with POWER.

It seems to me that there was a very OLD agenda even then, that used those acting in the name of the US Government to refuse the Native American pipe of peace, which was offered so that everyone would learn to coexist on the continent of America.

Agents and provocateurs acting among the powers even then. Nothing new --- just tragic --- then and now.

This formula has worked over and over again. Wade Frazier's thread is excellent for the documentation of "empire" and movements throughout the world, using up the energy (fuel, land, water) and greedily moving on for more. Until said empire or group collapses from lack of resources. Today, we can all see this happening before our eyes, on a global scale.

Native Americans took from each other too. There are still tribal enmities.

It is a time now for all cultural groups to revive and live the best of their traditions, as well as move forward to be part of a global force to thrive and steward the planet well.

In other worlds, a new world order that works for everybody, made up of distinct regional cultures.

Great insight from Russel Means, he covers it all very well here on The American Government, Politic's, The Corporation's of America and The Bankster's whom run the show. Americans have no culture. Its rather long, but worth a watch when you have some time. 5 Stars IMO.

The United States is one big reservation, and we are all in it. So says Russell Means, legendary actor, political activist and leader for the American Indian Movement. Means led the 1972 seizure of the Bureau of Indian Affairs headquarters in Washington, D.C., and in 1973 led a standoff at Wounded Knee, South Dakota, on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, a response to the massacre of at least 150 Lakotah men, women, and children by the U.S. Seventh Cavalry at a camp near Wounded Knee Creek.

American Indian Russell Means gives an eye-opening 90 minute interview in which he explains how Native Americans and Americans in general are all imprisoned within one huge reservation. Means is a leader for the Republic of Lakotah, a movement that has declared its independence from the United States and refused to recognize the authority of presidents or governments, withdrawing from treaties it made with the federal government and defining its borders which cover thousands of square miles in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana.

Means explains how American Indians have been enslaved within de facto prisoner of war camps as a result of the federal government's restriction of their food supply and the application of colonial tactics, a process that has now also been inflicted on the United States as a whole which has turned into, "one huge Indian reservation," according to Means.

Means warns that Americans have lost the ability of critical though, and with each successive generation become more irresponsible and as a consequence less free, disregarding a near-perfect document, the Constitution, which was derived from Indian law. Means chronicles the loss of freedom from the 1840's onwards, which marked the birth of the corporation, to Lincoln's declaration of martial law, to the latter part of the 19th century and into the 20th when Congress "started giving banks the right to rule," and private banking interests began printing the money

Last month I visited the Wind River Shoshone Indian Reservation with some whites. All they could talk about was how the NDNs had it made, no taxes, free housing, blah, blah. They said the NDNs would get a free house built by the government and they would tear them apart and sell it all for booze. I don't understand why someone would tear a house apart and then have no place to live.
