View Full Version : Oscar for Argo: A crime against humanity (by Kevin Barret)

Argo is a propaganda film. Like the films of Nazi publicist Leni Riefenstahl, it is well-made. Like those of Riefenstahl, it glorifies a murderous criminal organization. And like those of Riefenstahl, its ultimate purpose is to elicit hatred and turn its audience into mass murderers.

By Dr Kevin Barret
http://presstv.com/detail/2013/02/25/290795/oscar-for-argo-a-crime-against-humanity/

Riefenstahl glorified the Nazi party; Argo glorifies the CIA. Riefenstahl made Nazi war-mongering and Jew-hatred look beautiful; Argo makes Zionist-incited islamophobia and iranophobia look natural and inevitable and desirable.

Riefenstahl's films helped open the door to World War II, which killed 70 million people.

Argo is designed to open the door to war on Iran and World War III, which could kill hundreds of millions or even billions.

The only award the makers of Argo deserve is a criminal conviction for crimes against humanity. Instead, Hollywood's Zionist mafia has handed them an Oscar for best film of the year. The members of the academy should themselves be in the docket, facing war crimes charges, right alongside Ben Affleck.

But Affleck and the Hollywood mob aren't just guilty of war crimes. They are equally guilty of treason against the United States of America.

Hollywood, you see, is a virtually 100% Jewish enclave. And with a few noble exceptions, the Jewish billionaires who own and run Hollywood, and determine what kinds of motion pictures dominate the world, are rabid supporters of Israel's genocide in Occupied Palestine. Their films should be considered “enemy propaganda” - not just by Palestinians and their supporters, but by the American people.

Why? Because war on Iran - as Zbigniew Brzezinski and Chuck Hagel and all genuinely American strategists have been screaming from the rooftops - is an Israeli plan, not an American plan.

The Israelis want to drag America into wars against their enemies. And Iran is Israel's public enemy number one.

Israel's real problem with Iran isn't those nonexistent nukes. (Both the CIA and Mossad have assured us that Iran is not building nuclear weapons.) Israel's problem is that Iran's government offers formidable ideological and material support to the Palestinian resistance.

Why is that America's problem?

Because America is dominated by a powerful, treasonous Israeli fifth column. As Jewish, pro-Zionist comedian Bill Maher recently admitted, “The Israelis are controlling our government.”

Argo is enemy propaganda from Israeli-occupied Hollywood. It is a slick attempt to brainwash Americans into seeing Iranians as enemies. Argo seeks to drag the American consciousness back to 1979, when Iranians overthrew their CIA-installed torturer-in-chief, the Shah, and sought justice for his decades of misrule. It seeks to hide the fact that today, America and Iran should have good relations - and would have good relations, if Israel weren't running US foreign policy.

I watched Argo on the plane en route to Iran, where I recently spent two weeks. The film depicts Iranians as scowling, bearded fanatics lusting for American blood. When I arrived in Tehran, I was surprised - well, not really that surprised - to discover that Iranians are friendly, gracious, smiling, generous people who absolutely love Americans. (They have no difficulty making the distinction between the American people, and the policies of the Israeli-dominated American government.)

After being held hostage to their kindness, hospitality, and generosity for fourteen days, all I can say is that I hope they kidnap me again soon.

Most Americans, unfortunately, do not have the opportunity to visit Iran.

If you put Mr. Average American on a plane for Tehran, and showed him Argo as the in-flight movie, he would probably have a panic attack and try to kick open the emergency exit door and bail out of the plane. That, of course, is precisely the kind of reaction the Hollywood Zionists created Argo to elicit.

In some ways, Argo is almost like a zombie horror movie, with Americans as protagonists, and Iranians as evil flesh-eating zombies. When, in Argo, the small group of Americans visits Tehran's magnificent Grand Bazaar, only to be surrounded, mobbed, and threatened by vicious Iranian extremists hungering for their flesh and thirsting for their blood, I was reminded of nothing so much as the zombies-in-the-shopping-mall scenes from George Romero's horror classic, Dawn of the Dead.

When I visited a bazaar in Tehran earlier this month, I had a wonderful time. The scene was lively and colorful. The throngs of shoppers were enjoying themselves. The sellers were courteous and fun to haggle with. Maybe they were hungering for my dollars and thirsting for my coins, but if so, they were reasonably polite about it. I did not experience any zombie attacks.

Argo depicts Iran as a living hell for Americans. But for me and the other Americans I visited with, it was more like a paradise.

Americans can live well in Iran on very little money. The Iranian rial's value has dropped in relation to the dollar, thanks to the Zionist banksters' currency war. A can of Coca-Cola or a candy bar costs a nickle, a gourmet meal can be had for a few dollars, and all sorts of Iranian-made items are available at bargain prices. (Iranians are getting very good at making all kinds of products, since the sanctions have made imports prohibitively expensive.)

But the best thing about Iran is its people. There are no false guides and scammers accosting you, as in some Middle Eastern countries. Iran's people, regardless of philosophical, political, or religious persuasion, are both dignified and genuinely friendly. They have overcome the colonialist-imposed schizoid complex of servility/resentment. Iranians deal with Westerners, including Americans, naturally and amiably as equals.
When will the American government start treating Iran on a similar basis of natural amiability and equality?

The short answer: As soon as Americans take a lead from Bill Maher, and shake off Israel's domination of their country.

When that happens, the makers of Argo, and the other Israeli occupiers of America's media and entertainment industry, may have to seek refuge in Paraguay.

This is a courageous standing Jean-Luc, on an overall American forum, even if it is own by a British. In Canada, there is laws against hate speech and the only ones using it to dates are the Jewish. So just by writing this, I could and would be suedmely in my own country. This is as far as it goes to block free speech that is not hatred because who has the money to sustain law suits from extremely rich Zionists from which lots are lawyers?. So I always stay clear of controversial topics about the Jewish hand on American policies.

As for the movie, yes it is propaganda, the proof being that it is Mrs Obama who gave the Oscar, has it ever been seen in the Oscar history? It was "this is how we want you to think" presentation. This looked so much like a movie and prize chosen by the White House, and not by an impartial jury based on quality and creativity.

Furthermore, the movie is not totally true, those that paid for liberating the Americans with their lifes are not in, because they were either Iranians or Canadians.

Edit: yes it does look soooooo much like propaganda of the lowest levels, but gullible regular folds have seen nothing I bet. The movie is very much propaganda too. Akwardly, it looks like some fundamentalist Muslims movies I have seen from Turkey and other countries. It has not much place for thinking.

...and amazingly Michelle Obama popped on to the scene and gave two of her husbands biggest supporters an Oscar for best picture!

Clooney has raised 100's of thousands of dollars for the Obama administration/campaign, Affleck is a huge supporter too.

I watched the Oscars last night and was floored when Jack Nicholson stepped aside for M. Obama to present the award! I couldn't believe it until the award went to Clooney and Affleck....how pathetic, but at the same time, quite revealing.

Ironically, the movie was based on the rescuing of diplomats, something Michelle's husband failed to do in Benghazi....

The untold story in Argo - Iran's hostage 1980 - scoop

This is the first time this story is told publicly. You have a scoop here.

Bare with me, this will take many posts. Also, i may not have posted in the right place, if so, do not hesitate to change the place of the post.

An untold story – Iran’ hostages, 1980

I went to see the movie Argo last week. I truly enjoyed but there was an untold story about the American hostages I am aware of that is not in the movie.

First the movie: it starts with what was happening and the reasons for which the Iranians were revolting against the USA and mostly why they did change the US imposed corrupted regime to an fundamentalist Muslim one. Which is good, I was not expecting the truth in an American movie targeting a large public.

In the fifties/sixties and seventies, the Shah of Iran, who’s US sponsored regime was soooo corrupted and bloody , was thrown out and Khomenei returned from France to install the religious regime. By doing so, they threw out the US firms and nationalized all the petroleum industries (which is still nationalized and which explain why Israel and US want to put their hand on that country).

The anger at the American was at is paroxysm when US gave asylum to the Shah of Iran who had cancer. The Americans did not want to return him to Iran for court andjustice despite demands from Iran and its people. The Shah had escaped with planes loads of gold over and above what he had in banks outside Iran.

With this refusal, the Iranian people surrounded the American embassy and kidnapped the American hostages. However, six of them escaped and got hidden by the Canadian Ambassador in his residence. Iranian at first did not know six were missing until they glued the shredded papers of the American embassy (which took a year) and got the picture of the personnel, seeing that 6 were missing.

Meanwhile, the CIA planned a rescue of the American in the Canadian embassy by creating a fake story of making a Canadian movie in Iran and having 6 Canadian movie makers visit Iran. It allowed the American to forged Canadian passports (or the Canadians to give passport which is the truth) with pictures and everything. Only the remaining part left was the signatures had to be made on site in Iran.

So everybody could escape, the CIA agent that got them out had a medal in late 90's, the Canadian ambassador too, and everybody was saved as the story goes.

BUT HERE IS THE GLITCH

All the American were saved, but few Iranians paid with their lives for saving them and two Canadian women paid dearly as well. They had no medals, no recognition, no nothing. The entire world ignored them. In fact, nobody knows their story.

I do I know this?

In the 80’s, I worked for a while as a placement agent for administrative personnel. One of the two Canadian came to see me to get a job. When I tested her and ask for her background, she explained that she had been a translator at the Canadian embassy in Iran, she was back in Canada since a few years and was now looking for a job.

We kind of liked chatting together and I befriended her and we went for dinner and coffee a few times.

¤=[Post Update]=¤

What she told me was interesting at first, until I understood all the horror of what she went through. Of course, she was forbidden talking about this, but she did nevertheless, the heart, brain and body damages were too intense to keep for herself.

She told me about being an interpreter for Khomenei and a French reporter while a little bit of skin showed up on her hand. She was scolded by Khomenei for being a bad women. She was always scare when translating for him.

She told how it was difficult in the street because she did not walk like an Iranian women and would be recognized as a foreigner despite the garnments or robes women were wearing and would often be harassed by the street police. She also told me about what was happening when the Shah of Iran was there, how the basic culture was, what Hamam were used for, etc.

She told me she had been married for about 10 years to an Iranian and was living with her husband and her two adopted children that she had found in the streets of Teheran and raised. She had two passports, one Iranian through her marriage, and one Canadian through her birth.

Her husband had been put in jail when the regime changed because he had worked for the Shah administration or something similar, but was supposed to be released, which never happened after her ordeal.

Then, as the hostage crisis was unfolding, she was asked by the Canadian ambassador to be an interpreter a few more times and then she was asked a very special service. The passports for the Americans hiding in the Canadian embassy had arrived and there were a problem with the passport of the two women, if I remember, with their picture or something like this.

So the two American woman had no passport to get out with the CIA agent. She, and another Canadian women translator also married to an Iranian, were both asked to give their Canadian passports which would be trafficked to put the picture of the American women.

They had been both told that they could most probably get out of Iran with their Iranian passport. She was not convinced because her husband who was in prison could not give his permission to his wife to get out. Also, the children could not get out, their father being in jail and not able to apply for their passport.

However, the Canadian Embassy convinced both women to give their passport, she put her children in one of her husband's family member, knowing that the children would not be well kept and treated, but nevertheless she did not want the American women to lose their life. The Canadian Embassy organized 2 buses full of Iranian women to cross to Jordan, and in it, were the two Canadian women that had given their Canadian passport to the American women, hidden in their robe to be as Iranian women, and there they went.

At the Jordanian border, the Iranian guards taking everybody's passport and examining the women’s eyes and walking gait realized the she was not Iranian and took her aside for gang rape. Meanwhile the Iranian women in the bus were screaming “she is Muslim, do not touch her” but nothing would stop them.

She told me she was raped through every orifice of her body, beaten almost to death and then thrown the other side of the gate for Jordanians to pick her up. She was sent in an hospital for over one month in Germany where she had multiple surgeries to repair the damages. The same thing happened to the other Canadian translator who had given her passport.

¤=[Post Update]=¤

My acquaintance came back in Canada afterward and was never the same. When I met her, she told me her husband had been killed, for treason because of her, she was not sure where her children were and was trying to find them and get them out.

She had been helped by the Canadian government for reinsertion in the society, but now was on her own to pay for her own living and was not feeling that strong and stable.

She told me that her collegue, the other translator who had given her passport, had been institutionalized in a psychiatric hospital upon her arrival in Canada and was still there years later, she never recovered from this.

If I remember well, she also told me that the little maid serving at the Canadian embassy had been killed for treason, because she did not give up the American even if she was aware of what was going on.

These 3 women, their children and husbands are the real heroes of this story, yet, they were never recognized for it. I personally think they should, and I think the American people should know about this story

(I am not even sure the 2 American women that were saved by the two Canadian women know about this).

Please go see the film, it is a good film and basically true even if these elements above were missing.

Thanks for reading

Thanks Flash for posting that terrible and terribly poignant story. When Argo was first released I was keen to see it but have since read many articles pointing out, as above, what really happened and the propaganda angle and have now lost my enthusiasm! Zero Dark Thirty is another I am feeling ambivalent about.

Jimmy Carter is not known for being a liar. While he said parts of the story are true and since he was president at that time and said he had daily contact with these people, much of it is not true. The rescue was made possible by Iranians not the CIA.

Jimmy Carter is right.

Some Canadian reporters are contesting Argo this morning on radio. Those that were present at the Canadian embassy at the time say that the role of the CIA was absolutely minimal. Thas Canadian do not have much recognition with this movie.

The lesson, next time, do not jeopardize Canadian lifes for American ones. Just let the American rot. Is that what USA wants? But it is what they did to Canadian and helping Iranians then and still what they do, let others non American (including Canadians) rot, and once they are well rotten, don't give a damn, not even thanks and giving the true story. THis is exactly how USA is becoming the most hated country in the world. When even Canadians have enough and feel scre ed, even Canadians, who have 100% positive biais in favor of USA, it really means USA is going much too far.

Wake up Americans!

Used to be "the world" could seperate the government from the people.

Not sure how that falls out lately.

The "government" is quite obviously stooges to the banksters (stooges to multidimensionals) and not representative of the people.

By the same token it is obvious we the people of said country have done a remarkably bad job of standing up to and removing the "splinter in the mind" from our midst.

Karma ... eh?

Let me be quite clear ... speaking only for myself (tho no doubt countless others agree) ... I love you humans of the world.

I don't care where you are ... could care less about your skin color ... religion ... beliefs ... or if you are a Dodgers fan(?)

For whatever part in creating reality I have a responsibility for ... I live in grief for what has been going on (supposedly in "our name").

I grieve greatly for what we as humanity has done to Gaia. Yes ... the small voice suggests ... let's blame it on the elite for they control the money/corporations/etc.
