Dont have any nice things to say about Google sorry and they have been pushing advertizing a lot more lately even if one desires not to have them there's a few out of sight settings to click so as not to see them show up on your channel. Today I just noticed how they created dead space on the landing page for advertizing which sort of looks out of place unless of course you put an add there. I think the writing is on the wall. I havent uploaded videos directly to my website but I hope there is a simple way to do this. Is anyone familiar with doing that or which pluggin I could try? Thank you, from one of the last add free hold-outs.

As Hoagland would say, "Google is your friend". Even if "they" are tracking me I don't care. The wealth of info available is enormous. But yep... the ads are REALLY ANNOYING AND INTRUSIVE
Are you reading This Yahoo/Google/YouTube? :P :ban:

I am also frustrated by the amount of adverts. The tablet platform is even worse! They installed at least twenty icons on it that are strictly advertising...but did not bother installing a word processor or even a manual.
Thanks Paa and Meeradas.

unfortunately we dont have any other "free" serach engine out there or other streaming site that has the number of activeness that Youtube has ...
Its almost 100% sure atmthat Google and Youtube logs what ever you search and look at ... so they are able to hide or over find search items that they think you should see. Thats why people that dont search for similar topics when they start to search for them they get totaly different links that those that keep looking for these topics.
That shouldnt happen if google or youtube was working as they told us is working...
I think we all need to decide ... should we stay off Google / Gmail / Youtube / Facebook / skype ... etc etc ... or just accept they are watching / manipulating the info and try to work over it.

Can't do that because, on the tablet, they are all linked, if you want one you got to have them all.
It is the very height of sleeze, and they are sleezy beyond measure.

I empathise with you Ernie, I've been in the business most of my life and I personally despise the way adverts have changed and the WAY they are flung - or forced - in one's face at every opportunity. Even in those good 'ol days, it was well proven that once an ad begins to irritate it simply will not work. (In fact it can & often does have a negative impact - the viewer will deliberately NOT buy the product or service). Maybe this new generation of advertisers need to go back to school ;)
Of coz, it's all about the god-almighty $$ these days, ay? :ohwell:

yeah Kiwi, I hate when they play an ad on tv twice in a row. I make note not to buy it.
