View Full Version : North Korea Nuclear threat?

BlueGem

Far the last while, most people have been keeping an eye on what N. Korea has been up to. We know they have literally been itching to fire a nuke at the US, and have basically said so. The leader is clearly a greedy, spoilt, and insane little man who does not give a damn about his starving and opressed people.

I suspect if a missile is launched, it would be quickly intercepted, followed by heavy retaliations. Of course, Lil Kim will likely be elsewhere if this happens, leaving the innocent slaves of his country to perish. Although I wish for this to never happen, I am struggling to picture an alternative to this scenario.

The UN is watching very closely. Are they merely waiting for things to kick off? What about a coup d'etat? Are we so docile as to stand and wait for this brat to initiate war with the US (and possibly china)?

Maybe things are being blown out of preportion. Maybe Kim will back down. Or better yet, perhaps he will face the same humiliating process that ended Gaddafi. There is a famine in parts of N. Korea while their leader grows fat.

Any thoughts as to where this story is going?

Maybe N Korea doesnt want to be bullied by The USA Economic hitman in joining The Global Banking System. And decided to take matters in their own hands perhaps. Can anyone say New World Order. Im sure The Lamestream Media owned by The Upper Mgmt. is providing us with a propaganda war.

Only 3 countries left w/o ROTHSCHILD Central Bank!

Cuba

North Korea

Iran

The Rothschild family is slowly but surely having their Central banks established in every country of this world, giving them incredible amount of wealth and power.

In the year of 2000 there were seven countries without a Rothschild owned Central Bank:

Afghanistan

Iraq

Sudan

Libya

Cuba

North Korea

Iran

It is not a coincidence that these country, which are listed above were and are still being under attack by the western media, since one of the main reasons these countries have been under attack in the first place is because they do not have a Rothschild owned Central Bank yet. The first step in having a Central Bank establish in a country is to get them to accept an outrageous loans, which puts the country in debt of the Central Bank and under the control of the Rothschilds. If the country does not accept the loan, the leader of this particular country will be assassinated and a Rothschild aligned leader will be put into the position, and if the assassination does not work, the country will be invaded and have a Central Bank established with force all under the name of terrorism.

Rothschild owned Central Bank:

Central banks are illegally created private banks that are owned by the Rothschild banking family. The family has been around for more than 230 years and has slithered its way into each country on this planet, threatened every world leader and their governments and cabinets with physical and economic death and destruction, and then emplaced their own people in these central banks to control and manage each country’s pocketbook. Worse, the Rothschilds also control the machinations of each government at the macro level, not concerning themselves with the daily vicissitudes of our individual personal lives. Except when we get too far out of line.

The only countries left in 2003 without a Central Bank owned by the Rothschild Family were:

Sudan

Libya

Cuba

North Korea

Iran

The Attacks of September 11th were an inside job to invade Afghanistan and Iraq to then establish a Central Bank in those countries.

The only countries left in 2011 without a Central Bank owned by the Rothschild Family are:

Cuba

North Korea

Iran

After the instigated protests and riots in the Arab countries the Rothschild finally paved their way into establishing Central Banks, and getting rid of many leaders, which put them into more power.

Pyongyang Has Nuke-Tipped ICBMs On Standby – NK General

A North Korean general said Thursday that the country has placed long-range missiles armed with nuclear warheads on standby, as Pyongyang said it will not bow to the United Nations resolution condemning its latest atomic weapons test.

According to the Rodong Sinmun, an organ of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Colonel General Kang Pyo-yong said soldiers are already positioned to launch a war of reunification if the order is given by its leaders. The paper said the general made clear at a speech given at a rally in Pyongyang that intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and other rockets capable of attacking pre-set targets have been armed with various types of atomic warheads.

Beware the Ides of March. Its almost impossible for us to know if this is true or not. We know they have missiles, we know they have nukes. Most could take an educated guess.

Well, if we're following Werner Von Braun's script, which I think is pretty accurate, this would come under the subheading of "rogue nations". This little idiot has the approval of the Warlords running this planet, albeit on a leash governed by the spiritual hierarchy of Guardians protecting this place from total destruction. If he fires any nukes, they will be extinguished, one way or another.

Any thinking person would really have to question why this little clown and his wack-job daddy who make Saddam Hussein look like Mother Teresa have been allowed to develop working nuclear weapons while all the focus of the Fed Reserve gang has been on Iran who are "years away" from developing nukes. The answer? Black Gold... Texas Tea... what else is new.... and maybe some occult reason for blowing up "Persia".

Hey mate,

This information is not correct.

The Brazilian Central Bank is 100% public, not private.

These rumors have been circling on the web for a long time; If they kept Brazil out of their non-rothchild central banks list, probably they kept many other countries as well.

If we are to take seriously that the Global elite dominate space and technology, therefore the Global elite would not be too concerned about obsolete nuclear bombs or missiles.

Just fear mongering in my opinion.

Much the same way, as the United States Military would not be too concerned about the Indians launching an attack with bows and arrows.

I think with the current technology (much of what we are unaware of) nuclear threats are obsolete.

Yeah how could N.Korea launch any kind of reasonable nuclear attack on the U.S. without being completely decimated in return? How can such an attack be taken too seriously?

And besides ETs will disarm any nukes before they hit the ground :).

Well, I don´t think any ET will disarm any bomb in case of an attack. If they were willing to intervene on behalf of mankind´s welfare, they would have done it by now and the world wouldn´t be such a mess.

Anyway, I agree with you about NK; The US intelligence and military capabilities are undoubtedly vastly superior; The whole NK would be glowing in the dark before they even think about typing the launch codes.

This is pure propaganda.

North Korea spouts bellicose rhetoric constantly so some of this is political posturing. On the other hand this is one of the signs to watch for from remote viewing programs, a NK attack on the South.

Realistically, how many warheads and missiles could they have? Certainly not enough to launch a serious attack on the continental US. The most they could accomplish would be to lob one or two missiles towards Washington and California and hope Obama is forced to respond with conventional warfare rather than a cloud of incoming warheads.

Seems like suicide to me and my guess is any military aggression will be an invasion of South Korea.

Hard to tell though. If I had a dime for every time North Korea threatened the US or every time Israel wanted to nuke Iran... :)

It's easy to demonize and blame a leader for starving his people when the west is putting sanctions on the country.

"with the U.S. leading a push for new sanctions from the U.N. after North Korea illegally tested nuclear weapons last month. Susan Rice, U.N. Security Ambassador for the U.S., announced the sanctions were passed today. Joint military operations between U.S. and South Korean forces, which began last week, added to grievances in the North. North Korea believes the sanctions and continued military training constitute outright aggression."

I can't get over how hypocritical we are in turning a blind eye to Israel who I'm pretty sure have a hellava lot more nukes than N Korea does, but somehow it is considered bad manners to bring that fact up in "polite company".

Kim Jong Un is also young and fresh and may (most likely) have a big ego and a large desire to prove himself to his people as being a strong leader....this also makes him rather dangerous and unpredictable IMO.

"What you need a distraction? Okay...Hey Kim rattle your sabers, lite some things off and yell realy loudly for everyone to look at you, keep doing it untill we say stop."

IMHO this realy rings out as a distraction to me, but it could be NK saying to the ones who ordered them " your nukes are done! come and pick them up"

They will not use intercontinetal missles, one or two are easily shot out of the sky, it'll be a truck nuke, plane disguized nuke, or boat nuke sailed into a harbor, if the attack is to be on American soil with a nuke. (True Villains are not Wille Coyote stupid, they know who and what is watching and able to stop them) This public display just does not make any sence to me other than "Hey Look over here and keep watching"

The same could easily be said of many more world "leaders" !

Just because they have warheads which are capable of going BANG doesn't mean they have the means to deliver those warheads to a target half way around the world in a timely and accurate fashion. The evidence of all their recent tests suggests they haven't. In my opinion the threats against the USA are nothing more than typical politicians' hot air.

An invasion of the South is an entirely different matter. Even if they are unlilkely to succeed, they are very capable of doing a lot of damage.

Please let's not forget the genuine, deep seated desire to see their country reunited and to see the main agent of the separation expelled from their land. The OP shouldn't have any difficulty in comprehending this.

Like all the other disasters created at the supposed end of WWII, this particular little powder keg is one day going to go off, whether it be now or later, who can tell. Let's also not forget that the next time around, a war between China and the USA would potentially have far more serious consequences than the original spat.

Actually they already have done it. There have been reports of nuclear missiles launched, only to have their codes tapped into and disarmed in flight. Bashar also talks about this and explains the reason why. There apparently is evidence that missiles have been de-activated. Some still trapped in the old caveman way of thinking take it as a threat, while in reality they are doing everyone a favour.

Yeah...Ask the people from Hiroshima and Nagasaki about that...

Besides, as far as I can observe, the world is on constant war since WWII; millions of innocent people have been murdered and no ET did anything about it.

If they are really out there observing Earth they must be ashamed of our behavior and, so far, there´s no evidence showing that they did anything to stop us from killing each other.

So, if they ever interfere on an eventual future nuclear war, it will be most possibly to protect the planet from annihilation, not the human race.

I am surprised so many fall for the world view of the big and strong America trying to do every good for the world, but got harassed by the little evil rogue states. This is so far from the truth.

The history of the world is that of a few capitalist imperialist states exploiting the rest of the world by every evil means, like invasion and taking their resources and massacring the people (the indigenous for example). Unfortunately not many see this truth because this is not taught at school. This has become alternative history.

Alternative history says that during the Korean war, the US and ally bombed indiscriminately and destroyed 80% of the towns and cities. North Korea lost 30% of its population as a result. Compared to less than 1% loss for most countries in WW2, this is a real massacre, a holocaust without being recognized. And napalm was used widely and caused extremely painful deaths in the bombings too.

MSM propaganda wants you to believe North Korea has a ruthless dictator and is on the aggressive again. The world seems to be waiting for him to make the first aggressive move. History and world events aren’t that simple. It is much wiser to ignore who is reported to make the first punch or who is the bad guy. Reckoning that an ant will not make a charge at an elephant is good enough.

Coming from several different sources, I was made to understand that it was actually the "Hiroshima and Nagasaki" bombings that "Alerted" the ET's to the realization that the human race has come to aquire the means to destroy the planet, and so from then on late 40's & on they have made hanging around and observing and even interfering from the sidelines so to speak. I do, however, agree that they are way more concerned about the destruction of the planet itself then us occupants, as yes millions of innocent people have been murdered around the world and ET has not interfered to prevent that sadly.

Hey mate,

I have a big problem regarding "sources" of ET related issues; Everybody can say whatever they want about ET´s intentions, plans and whatever.

Anyway, there´s no way to believe such hypothesis; Before Japan being nuked, the US conducted the Trinity nuclear test in New Mexico, which was the first "official" large scale nuclear detonation and should be more than enough to alert the ETs about human intentions regarding the military use of nuclear energy.

Since the invention of the nuclear bomb, thousands of nuclear detonation tests were conducted on this planet, 1054 by the US only, including several detonations above Earth´s atmosphere. They were all successful and no ET stopped them.

So far, no one has shown proper evidence that some ET race do care for us, besides highly questionably channeled materials and completely unverifiable reports and information.

“There is nobody at the CIA who can tell you more personally about Kim Jong-Un than Dennis Rodman, and that in itself is scary,” said former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Steve Ganyard to ABC when the event broke this weekend.

To you foreigners and Americans not in tune with the NBA and/or pop culture circa 1990, that's this guy:

“[Rodman] did everything to buck the system when he played,” Mr. Smith said. Mr. Bayless added, “Dennis always seems to fall into the middle of something, and it goes wrong. It just spins out of control.”

....

Following the interview, Rodman’s planned appearances on various talk-shows this week were subsequently canceled.

Practice or show of force??

Two American stealth bombers flew over South Korea in a practice run to drop dummy munitions, the U.S. military announced Thursday. The unusual announcement is expected to further anger North Korea, which issued threats this month over recently completed U.S.-South Korean military exercises.

American forces said the B-2 Spirit bombers were sent Thursday to South Korea from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. Their mission “involved flying more than 6,500 miles to the Korean peninsula, dropping inert munitions on the Jik Do Range, and returning to the continental U.S. in a single, continuous mission,” the U.S. Forces Korea said in its statement.

The U.S. made its announcement at a time of heightened tensions: In recent weeks, North Korea has threatened missile strikes on the U.S. and South Korea and declared an armistice that stilled the Korean War in 1953 to be void. Pyongyang ramped up its threats in reaction to the joint drills, which a state committee called “the most blatant provocation,” and as it was slapped with additional United Nations sanctions for carrying out its third nuclear test.

Experts don’t believe North Korea can strike the U.S. mainland, but tensions in the region could erupt into smaller conflicts. In 2010, Pyongyang launched a deadly attack on a South Korean island as South Korean forces held drills nearby; the two Koreas have also clashed at sea.

In a possible sign that tensions will ease, however, the Associated Press reported that a North Korean industrial plant operated with the help of South Korean staff was operating normally, as North Korea gave the OK for hundreds of South Koreans to cross to the facility.

No doubt war is an important instrument used by the PTB to control the world. It is said that both world wars were deliberately started by them. We have witnessed so many wars in the last decades that were so asymmetric that calling them massacres is more appropriate, oddly all reportedly were initiated by the “rogue states”. Now another “rogue state” wants to challenge the mighty US. I would ask, why is an ant charging at an elephant?

I have this unsettling feeling that North Korea with it's gung ho, nuke happy leader will be the start of WW3. Even with all the sanctions that has been put in place by the UN, Kim Jong is still making threats everyday. He has so much as said that he will let his people starve before backing down from it's nuke program.

I will say that if such a disaster as sending a nuclear warhead towards South Korea or even the US, will be short lived.

For TPTB wars are a perfect choice.
They create fear and tension
They make money for the defence contractors
They are a means to control
They are a means to distract
And they're a great way to keep the population from expanding to rapidly. Along with their other favourite weapons such as man made poverty and diseases.

US Plans To Intervene In Korea, 90,000 Soldiers In 56 Days; North Korea Readies Missiles

" American generals need 56 days and more than two reinforced divisions to resolve the situation in a dilapidated state, "North Brownland", previously controlled by the criminal regime Featuring nuclear weapons. Any similarities with North Korea is probably intentional.

As revealed portal "Defense News", so in the short run the script and looked large staff exercises at the Pentagon called "Unified Quest", which took place at the beginning of this year.

The military is not about how to specify the country it was, but journalists are completely confident that practiced to control the situation in North Korea collapsing. Even the maps used in the exercise cage roller throw suspiciously reminiscent of the Korean Peninsula, and U.S. troops set off a share of territory in the south of the peninsula ally.

When asked by journalists Hix General as to whether the current U.S. forces in South Korea, with a population less than 30,000 people, are insufficient in the face by training, gave evasive answers. - There are sufficient at the moment. Remains an open question whether they will be sufficient if you will need to protect "the lost" nuclear weapons - said General "

Meanwhile...

North Korean state media said on Friday that the country’s leader, Kim Jong-un, ordered his missile units to be ready to strike the United States and South Korea, which South Korean officials said could signal either preparations for missile tests or just more blustering.

Mr. Kim’s order, which North Korea said was given during an emergency meeting early Friday, was similar to the one issued Tuesday when the North’s top military command told all its missile and artillery units to be on the “highest alert” and ready to strike the United States and South Korea in retaliation against their joint military exercises.

This may or may not be related, but yesterday, there was a very unusual amount of air traffic. I do not live near an airport that supports jet service. And much of the air traffic consisted of obvious military jets, F14/16 etc. It reminded me of the training I heard in my hometown, at 3 am nightly in the weeks post 911. Although this was daytime. I believe the closest military base is about 100 miles from here. At the time, my immediate thoughts were, hmm what is in our near future.

For TPTB wars are a perfect choice.
They create fear and tension
They make money for the defence contractors
They are a means to control
They are a means to distract
And they're a great way to keep the population from expanding to rapidly. Along with their other favourite weapons such as man made poverty and diseases.

The biggest obstacle for the DHS is the size, strength, and availability of the US military. Underfunding, stretching and dissipation of resources.

I think it's pretty clever.

U.S. Responds to North Korean Provocations with a Provocation of Its Own

March 29, 2013 • 11:15AM

North Korea's recent behavior, despite the current war hysteria from the Obama administration, is not inconsistent with its past history. Despite that, the U.S announced, very publicly, that two B-2 bombers, flying from their base in Missouri, dropped practice bombs on a military range in South Korea as part of ongoing bilateral exercises. According to a statement issued early today by U.S. Forces Korea, the B-2 mission "demonstrates the United States' ability to conduct long-range, precision strikes quickly and at will," but the New York Times, in its coverage this morning, rightly deemed the mission a provocation of North Korea. The Times reported from Seoul that North Korea "remains particularly sensitive" because of American carpet bombing during the 1950-53 Korean War, and its war cries "typically reach a frenetic pitch" when American bombers fly over South Korea during military exercises. So, the U.S. responds in a way calculated to provoke the North, not because of any particulars regarding North Korea, but because of the British-directed buildup of a generalized war hysteria. And, in accordance with the British game, North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, signed orders putting the country's rocket forces on standby to attack U.S. bases, according to the Korean Central News Agency this afternoon.

Indeed, the first question to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel during a Pentagon press briefing this afternoon, was exactly on that point. Was not the decision to send the B-2's over Korea "more of a provocative move by the United States?" Hagel was asked. "Does that risk provoking North Korea to do something more so than they might have already been?" Hagel went to great lengths to deny that the B-2's were a provocation, and to lay responsibility for all provocations on North Korea. He also claimed that, regardless of what North Korea's actual military capabilities may be, the U.S. has to prepare for the "worst case scenario," to show that we're prepared to not only defend the United States but also reassure allies.

Hagel was undercut, slightly, by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey, however, when Dempsey responded to a question asking whether or not the U.S. has seen any unusual military moves by North Korea. "We're in our annual exercise cycle," he said. "So are they. And so there have been moves in the maritime domain on each coast, as well as some of the artillery units that are across the demilitarized zone from Seoul. So, yeah, there have been movements. We haven't seen anything that would cause us to believe there are movements other than consistent with historic patterns and training exercises."

Well for what it's worth, I got this e-mail yesterday from the Defcon Warning System of which I am subscribed. Here's the link, http://www.defconwarningsystem.com/

This is the DEFCON Warning System. Alert status for 2 P.M. Thursday, March 28th, 2013. Condition Blue. DEFCON 4. Condition Blue. DEFCON 4. Condition Blue. DEFCON 4.
There are currently no imminent nuclear threats against the United States at this time, however there are events occurring in the world theatre which require closer monitoring.
The situation in Korea continues to be a potential flashpoint. While current intel does not believe that North Korea has the capability to strike the United States with nuclear missiles, a conventional attack does not appear to be outside their ability. Chemical and biological attacks are also a possibility, though there has been little evidence that North Korea has been developing those types of weapons on any kind of large scale. Nevertheless, North Korea continues to work on intercontinental delivery systems as well as miniaturizing its nuclear warheads, so that a strike on the U.S. will ultimately be in its ability. Some analysts postulate that any nuclear attack by North Korea would not be a strike against cities, but rather a high-altitude attack which would knock out the U.S. power grid and other critical infrastructure.
As of now, the cold war continues, and North Korea has officially ended its Non-Aggression pact with South Korea as well as voiding past nuclear disarmament agreements. North Korea is claiming to have nuclear-capable missiles and are positioning road-mobile KN-08 intercontinental ballistic missiles which the United States believes can be nuclear capable, though there is debate as to whether or not North Korea has been able to miniaturize a nuclear warhead enough to fit on one. In response to the North Korean nuclear threat, the United States is adding additional missile interceptors on its West coast.
The United States has signed an agreement with South Korea for joint response to North Korean attack. Up until now, U.S. participation has been optional. The U.S. is currently conducting training runs with bombers practicing nuclear strikes on North Korea while North Korea conducts live-fire drills near the border.
History has shown that North Korea usually attacks within weeks of a South Korean presidential inauguration. While an attack is unlikely when the U.S. has such a large presence during war games, a hit-and-run attack is expected after U.S. forces pull back. An attack is becoming more likely due to the amount of rhetoric coming out of the North. It is coming to the point that few are taking North Korea seriously anymore, and the country is likely feeling pressure to back up its threats with some sort of demonstration. This makes North Korea a highly dangerous adversary, as it is going to be acting on emotion rather than logic and strategy.
Elsewhere, China is building a large drone fleet, with aim to swarm U.S. carriers during war, while cyber-attacks from China are now beginning to target critical infrastructure in the United States. Russia has announced plans to form a permanent task force in the Mediterranean while the United States has canceled the final phase of the European missile shield.
The DEFCON Warning System is a private enterprise which monitors world events and assesses nuclear threats against the United States by national entities. It is not affiliated with any government agency and does not represent the alert status of any military branch. The public should make their own evaluations and not rely on the DEFCON Warning System for any strategic planning. At all times, citizens are urged to learn what steps to take in the event of a nuclear attack.
If this had been an actual attack, the DEFCON Warning System will give radiation readings for areas that are reported to it. Your readings will vary. This system serves the Kettle Falls area of Northeast Washington. Official news sources will have radiation readings for your area.
For immediate updates, go to www.defconwarningsystem.com. Breaking news and important information can be found on the DEFCON Warning System message board and on the DEFCON Twitter feed DEFCONWS. You may also subscribe to the YouTube channel DefconWarningSystem, Note that Twitter and YouTube updates may be subject to delays. The next scheduled update is 2 P.M. Pacific Time, April 18th, 2013. Additional updates will be made as the situation warrants, with more frequent updates at higher alert levels.
This concludes this broadcast of the DEFCON Warning System

World on Edge over North Korea
April 2, 2013 By Joseph Klein

North Korea is relentlessly continuing its provocative rhetoric and actions in the wake of its ballistic missile and nuclear arms tests, which had prompted more stringent sanctions imposed by the United Nations Security Council earlier this year. North Korea’s young dictator, Kim Jong-un, led the Central Committee of the ruling Workers’ Party plenary meeting Sunday in declaring that North Korea’s continued build up of its nuclear arms stockpile was not negotiable. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) of North Korea quoted from the meeting as follows:

The nuclear weapons of Songun Korea are not goods for getting U.S. dollars and they are neither a political bargaining chip nor a thing for economic dealings to be presented to the place of dialogue or be put on the table of negotiations aimed at forcing the DPRK to disarm itself… The DPRK’s nuclear armed forces represent the nation’s life which can never be abandoned as long as the imperialists and nuclear threats exist on earth.

Only when the nuclear shield for self-defence is held fast, will it be possible to shatter the U.S. imperialists’ ambition for annexing the Korean Peninsula by force and making the Korean people modern slaves, firmly defend our ideology, social system and all other socialist treasures won at the cost of blood and safeguard the nation’s right to existence and its time-honored history and brilliant culture.

KCNA also reported that during an Easter service “the participants renewed the firm resolution to put the warmongers [the US and South Korea] into the red hot iron-pot of hell as early as possible.”

The plenary ruling party meeting was reportedly the first of its kind in twenty years, underlining Kim Jong-un’s determination to get the attention he craves on the world stage, shore up his credentials with his military and consolidate his power by mobilizing his people to be prepared for war. The party meeting came just days after Kim Jong-un put the military’s rocket forces on standby to strike the U.S. mainland, American bases in the Pacific, including Hawaii and Guam, and U.S. bases in South Korea. The dictator had also issued a challenge that “the time has come to settle scores with the U.S. imperialists.” This in turn followed North Korea’s decision to declare the 1953 armistice with South Korea null and void and to cut off its military communications hot lines with South Korea. The only remaining shred of inter-Korean cooperation is the joint industrial park at the border town of Kaesong, which North Korea has threatened to shut down.

South Korea, needless to say, is on high alert and taking no chances, but not panicking. Seoul, South Korea’s capital, is reported to be calm at this point. South Korea’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Kim Sook was quoted by Inner City Press as saying on Monday that he hoped North Korea is “a barking dog, not a biting dog,” but that South Korea “would retaliate.” South Korean President Park Geun-hye appeared to signal that she would leave the matter of any military response to an “abrupt and surprise provocations by North Korea” to her military’s judgment.

The Obama administration is also taking North Korea’s threats seriously, but not overreacting. It has been taking measured steps to demonstrate its resolve to defend South Korea if North Korea decides to launch an attack. For example, NBC News reports that the U.S. Navy is shifting a guided-missile destroyer in the Pacific to waters off the Korean peninsula. The destroyer, the USS Fitzgerald, can intercept and destroy a missile, which would provide further deterrence to any decision by North Korea to launch a missile attack.

A group of U.S. F-22 stealth fighter jets were flown Sunday from an air base in Japan to one located south of Seoul, to join the current joint military exercises in South Korea. Last Thursday, a pair of U.S. Air Force nuclear-capable B-2 bombers were sent from a base in the United States for a flight over South Korea. U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the stealth bomber flights were intended to demonstrate to our allies in the region “that they can count on us to be prepared and to help them deter conflict.”

President Obama’s top national security adviser, Tom Donilon, said last month that “North Korea’s claims may be hyperbolic, but as to the policy of the United States, there should be no doubt: we will draw upon the full range of our capabilities to protect against, and to respond to, the threat posed to us and to our allies by North Korea.”

Donilon also warned North Korea not to count on its threats to bring the United States and its allies back to the negotiating table to offer another economic lifeline in return for North Korea’s meaningless promise to scale back its nuclear activities. “The United States refuses to reward bad North Korean behavior,” Donilon said. “The United States will not play the game of accepting empty promises or yielding to threats. As former Secretary of Defense Bob Gates has said, we won’t buy the same horse twice. We have made clear our openness to authentic negotiations with North Korea. In return, however, we’ve only seen provocations and extreme rhetoric.”

While most analysts consider North Korea’s bellicose threats to strike the U.S. mainland directly a bluff that the regime is incapable of carrying out at its present technological level, South Korea and Japan are within easy target range. And miscalculations can quickly mushroom out of control.

Moreover, North Korea’s continued buildup of nuclear arms and long range missile capacities, in concert with its ally Iran’s own buildup which North Korea is helping, does not give us much breathing room. It is only a matter of time before the United States is at serious risk of being vulnerable to attack by the megalomaniacs running these two surviving members of what President George W. Bush correctly called the “axis of evil.”

According to Reza Kahlili, who served in CIA Directorate of Operations, as a spy in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and still has highly placed sources in the Iranian regime, North Korea is helping Iranian scientists to develop new ways to miniaturize and make more powerful nuclear bombs, as well as neutron warheads that can be used to launch crippling electromagnetic pulse attacks.

All that we can do at this point is contain the North Korean nuclear threat and use military force to destroy their nuclear facilities and infrastructure as a last resort. However, the alliance between North Korea and Iran makes it more imperative than ever for the Obama administration to prevent Iran, by whatever means necessary, from ever reaching the critical point of no return in developing nuclear bombs and moving towards achieving its objective of a deployed force of nuclear weapons on intermediate and inter-continental missiles.

I've just seen the pictures and the tags in the news on TV today, it was depictions of poverty and sick children all over commented with "especially the kids have to suffer" and "the West is concerned about the situation in North Korea."

Yeah right, how about kids dying because the Third World is artificially held in poverty? How about shooting kids up with poisonous vaccines? How about the West not at all being "concerned" about that? They're playing the same old game, getting people emotional over a distraction and posing as the saviors, it's disgusting.

There are of course many angles to how this is a proxy conflict, see for example this article in the Wall Street Journal (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324883604578396303899531188.html#). I don't know, sadly the people in North Korea don't have access to the internet and cannot get the real backgrounds from there, but I hope South Koreans make some pressure to avoid an escalation. People all over the world should, actually. Everybody who has the knowledge and could share it and do something is responsible for doing something or nothing.

Maybe there will be a "South Korea loves North Korea" movement like "Israel loves Palestine" and vice versa.

Btw, here's the article source link from the OP: http://frontpagemag.com/2013/joseph-klein/world-on-edge-over-north-korea/

Its all to get additional aid for the people so Kim Jong Un can funnel more money towards his military, the north have no desire to go to war only protect what they have. There is no need for them to reconcile because the communist leaders live such luxurious lives and the common people are utterly ignorant of the reality of the situation.

In the South the business leaders namely Samsung, Hyundia and LG (who run the government) have no desire for reunification as the consequences would lead to a short term business down turn.

I can't see war happening or envisage any situation where they can reconcile, I hope I proved wrong on the reconciling part however.

I'd just like to point out a few things.

Its all to get additional aid for the people so Kim Jong Un can funnel more money towards his military, the north have no desire to go to war only protect what they have.

This is what it has been about in the past. Here's why it's different.

This will be the umpteenth time that North Korea has said they will halt their nuclear program for food and money. Each time they have gone back on their word.

Now they have between four and ten nuclear weapons and a new leader who is much more outspoken (/reckless) than his father was.

They have stated that there will be no negotiations with anyone that involves them halting their nuclear program. They have a new hand of cards now.

They are looking at ways around the squeeze of these sanctions. They've just recently announced that they will be restarting the Yongbyon nuclear complex that they shut down five years ago. This will be done to help power the country and to help add to their nuclear arsenal. They will start looking for other ways to get money. One possibility is for them to produce more nuclear weapons to sell to other countries whose nuclear programs have been suppressed by the international community.

The thing that is most familiar over the years, aside from the rhetoric, is they keep developing their nuclear program. Again, now they actually have several nuclear weapons. They will not stop their program. This is evident, and this is where the conflict is at -- aside from all the recent threats.

The US is in a bind here, they have made commitments to Israel ensuring that Iran would not become nuclear capable. Yet, North Korea has steadily achieved this status right under the nose of the US. Whose to say that North Korea won't try and sell a nuclear weapon to Iran? This is probably something Israel and the US have thought about. Unfortunately, it's looking more and more like the US wants this war to happen, as all other options have proved futile in the long run. The situation in North Korea has little room left for diplomacy. Really, nobody should have nuclear weapons. It seems the world is run by silver tonged psychopaths.

I can't see war happening or envisage any situation where they can reconcile, I hope I proved wrong on the reconciling part however.

Man, I really hope hope your wrong about the reconciliation too. Each agreement they have made with the US has been breached though; with each breach they have progressed further and further with their nuclear capabilities. That's why it's different. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help but recognize their track record (apart from the "talk").

They just keep coming back, and things have escalated very quickly this past month.

A4oAe3_O2sg

The video cuts out a little at the end. It seems that Kim Jong-Un has put "Songun" before the well being of the people of the DPRK. That's what "Songun" essentially is anyways. In the long run, that kind of policy has held true.

N. Korea approves nuclear strike on US

(AFP) – 11 minutes ago

SEOUL — The North Korean army said Thursday it had final approval to launch "merciless" military strikes on the United States, involving the possible use of "cutting-edge" nuclear weapons.

In a statement published by the official KCNA news agency, the General Staff of the Korean People's Army (KPA) said it was formally informing Washington that reckless US threats would be "smashed by... cutting-edge smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear strike means".

"The merciless operation of (our) revolutionary armed forces in this regard has been finally examined and ratified," the statement said.

"The US had better ponder over the prevailing grave situation," it added.

North Korea had threatened a "pre-emptive" nuclear strike against the United States a month ago, and last week the supreme army command ordered its strategic rocket units to combat status for strikes on the US mainland and US bases in Guam and Hawaii.

"The moment of explosion is approaching fast," Thursday's statement said, adding that a war could break out on the Korean peninsula "today or tomorrow".

"In view of this situation, the KPA General Staff in charge of all operations will take powerful practical military counteractions in succession," it said.

Despite a successful long-range rocket launch in December, most experts believe North Korea is years from developing a genuine inter-continental ballistic missile that could strike the mainland United States.

Hawaii and Guam would also be outside the range of its medium-range missiles, which would be capable, however, of striking US bases in South Korea and Japan.

The army statement said responsibility for the current crisis "entirely rests" with the United States, citing the participation of nuclear-capable US B-52s and B-2 stealth bombers in ongoing joint military drills with South Korea.

"Never has the whole Korean peninsula been exposed to such danger of a nuclear war as today," it added.

Officials Warn: “North Korea Could Explode A High-Altitude Nuclear Device Over The United States”

This is serious stuff here folks. A nuclear EMP device like the one they have (which the Russians helped them build) would take out a large chunk of the US electrical grid. Clif High has stated that data gaps have begun showing up in his streams (because of the global increase in DDOS attacks). He said that these gaps are growing like holes in Swiss cheese, and it's this growth that leads up to the blackout he's describing.

I'm just going to point out that an EMP could account for the blackout.

WND EXCLUSIVE
U.S. on alert for nuclear blast overhead
'Space launch vehicle' could put kill electric grid, devastate nation
Published: 2 days ago

WASHINGTON – U.S. officials quietly are expressing concern that North Korea could use its “space launch vehicle” to explode a high-altitude nuclear device over the United States, creating an electromagnetic pulse that would destroy major portions of the U.S. electrical grid system as well as the nation’s critical infrastructures.

The concern is so great that U.S. officials who watch North Korea closely are continually monitoring the status of the North Korean “space launch vehicle,” whose status could suggest a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the United States.

They are aware of the three-stage missile North Korea launched last December that also orbited a “package,” which experts say could be a test to orbit a nuclear weapon that then would be deorbited on command anywhere over the U.S. and exploded at a high altitude, creating an EMP effect.

This concern is in addition to North Korea’s latest threat to strike targets in Hawaii and the continental U.S., as well as possible attacks against U.S. bases in South Korea and Japan.

The 28-year-old North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, has signed an order for North Korea’s strategic rocket forces to be on standby to fire at U.S. targets.

The signing was against a photo backdrop following an emergency meeting of his senior military leaders showing large maps that were labeled “U.S. mainland strike plan, specifically at Hawaii, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Austin, Texas.”

One WND reader who traced the targeting to Texas said that it really was aimed at the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The latest North Korean threats occurred after the U.S. sent two B-2 stealth bombers to strike targets with inert bombs during joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises, which Kim considered a major provocation.

“He finally signed the plan on technical preparations of strategic rockets, ordering them to be on standby to fire so that they may strike any time the U.S. mainland, its military bases in the operational theaters in the Pacific, including Hawaii and Guam, and those in South Korea,” according to a statement by the North Korean news agency, KCNA.

The statement added that the B-2 flights showed Washington’s “hostile” intent, and the “reckless” act had gone “beyond the phase of threat and blackmail.”

In response, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel condemned North Korea’s actions which to date have included dissolving the 1953 armistice between North and South Korea, severing the military hotline with South Korea and putting its artillery forces on high alert and threatening, once again, nuclear strikes against the U.S.

In recent weeks, North Korea also had released three videos showing a nuclear strike on the U.S.

“We’ve made very clear that we have the capability and willingness to protect our interests and our allies in the region,” according to deputy White House press secretary Josh Earnest. He said that the U.S. military exercises with South Korea should offer “pretty clear evidence” that the U.S. can defend its interests and those of its allies in the region.

Sources say that sending the B-2s was in response to the recent North Korean threats to send a message – a message which Russia and China called a “provocative act.”

Russia and China have asked the U.S. to continue talking to North Korea and not to take military action against North Korea.

In response to North Korea’s initial bellicose rhetoric, Hagel ordered the deployment of additional Aegis anti-missile systems for the U.S. West Coast. They originally were destined for Europe. And a second anti-ballistic missile radar is to be installed in Japan.

However, the Aegis anti-missile systems won’t be operational until 2017, although there are some systems already deployed along the West Coast.

North Korea’s continuing threats of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against U.S. targets suggest to U.S. officials that its military is confident in the capability of its missiles and that its recent nuclear testing for miniaturization of a warhead to be placed on a missile similarly was successful.

These officials are looking at the prospect that upon launch of the missile and a potential nuclear payload, it would take a polar path, clearly out of range of U.S. Aegis anti-missile systems.

The fact that U.S.military officials are expressing quiet but increasing concern that North Korea could launch an EMP attack has raised alarms over the preservation of the U.S. national grid and such critical infrastructures as communications, energy, food and water delivery and space systems.

This concern recently has been reinforced by a little-publicized study by the U.S. Army War College that said a nuclear detonation at altitude above a U.S. city could wipe out the electrical grid for hundreds, possibly thousands of miles around.

The impact would be catastrophic.

“Preparing for months without a commercial source of clean water (city water pressure is often dependent on electric pumping to storage towers) and stoppage of sewage treatment facilities will require net methods of survival particularly in populated areas,” the military study said.

The May 2011 study, titled, “In the Dark: Military Planning for a Catastrophic Critical Infrastructure Event,” concluded that there is “very little” in the way of backup capability to the electric grid upon which the communications infrastructure is vitally dependent.

Analysts say that it is apparent that Kim has ignored any advice from its closest friend, China, to stop any further missile or nuclear testing suggesting, as one official described Kim, as a “loose cannon.”

Kim also has been defiant of any United Nations Security Council resolutions similarly condemning the recent missile and nuclear tests. China had joined in approving those resolutions.

“The time has come to settle accounts with the U.S.,” the KCNA agency declared.

“The Obama administration is either clueless or deceiving the American people with false assurances that North Korea’s recent threats to destroy the United States are merely ‘empty rhetoric’ because they allegedly ‘lack the capability,’” one former U.S. official told WND.

Some regional analysts, however, believe that Kim is seeking to leverage the U.S. for further concessions while attempting to win favor with his own military to show how tough he can be.

These analysts say that until now Kim has not had the support from the military that his father, Kim Jong-Il, had.

His war-like tone may be indicative of attempts to solidify military support within his country.

At the moment, experts are looking at efforts for preparations at known long-range missile launch sites.

Those signs may be appearing.

“North Korea’s launch sites to fire off mid- and long-range missiles have recently shown increased movement of vehicles and forces,” according to one South Korean official who described the activity at the sites as “brisk.”

“We are closely watching possibilities of missile launches,” the official said.

In this connection, officials have seen several vehicles moving to the Tongchang-ri missile site on the western coast, in what appeared to them to be preparations for testing its long-range missiles.

Some observers, however, believe the latest threats of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the U.S. remain for now just domestic posturing and efforts to establish military credentials on Kim’s part to show that he is more forceful than his father.

In other efforts to determine warnings and indications of an attack, analysts are looking for major troop movements...

Thanks.

Yea, everybody was talking about this 4-5 months ago. Then no mention of it in the news until recently. I'll also point out that it was Ed Dames who said that a space-shuttle-like vehicle falling from the sky would be the last thing people see before it was lights out. The North Korean satellite probably looks more like a rocket than a space shuttle. I don't know, I haven't seen a picture.

Now, Ed Dames has been hit or miss. He has had uncanny hits though. These hits didn't manifest to the degree of severity that he'd foreseen, but they still manifested.

I really don't know. Ed Dames and Clif High aside, it is undeniable that there is a situation unfolding right now.

I'll add that it is connected with a lot of things.

Knowing how this world is run, it is absurd to think that this fat little idiot could be doing this on his own without being put up to it by the Globalist Mafia. He absolutely must know that his arsenal is a speck of dust compared to what would come at him if he fired the first salvo. And even if he did, it would either get shot down by some American defense system or a UFO.

There is nothing to fear here, and if all humanity was awake and aware, we would collectively laugh in their faces and tell them we're not falling for the dog and pony show anymore.... and to take their fake money and shove it up their arses.

UFO'S they have not stopped it before.
jfpQNfcRE1o

And American government stopping it? it would be obvious they want to start it.. Given the past.. Given all that they have done to help them go to war..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapons_testing

excerpt:

The first nuclear weapon was detonated as a test by the United States at the Trinity site on July 16, 1945, with a yield approximately equivalent to 20 kilotons. The first hydrogen bomb, codenamed "Mike", was tested at the Enewetak atoll in the Marshall Islands on November 1 (local date) in 1952, also by the United States. The largest nuclear weapon ever tested was the "Tsar Bomba" of the Soviet Union at Novaya Zemlya on October 30, 1961, with an estimated yield of around 50 megatons.

I don't want to pick on the American government as I feel the American government is not in control of it self so why blame them? From America to Britain to Germany to Britain again, To... Well lets say underground or out of this world manevolents. The control came from somewhere and filtered it's way down through the years. Through many thousands of years.

It is their job to have things like this to happen and our job, is the choices we make to go along with, or to live/die on the side we choose..

Either way we all learn and will learn from others mistakes and our own..

If this terrible thing happens, though I feel many terrible things are about to happen (cyclic and manifested and forced). If it happens then we should realise that there is another learning path we undertake from the moment the decision is made to tempt this world into more chaos.

China will keep on hiding her true nature. The North Korea show is only her latest chess move. What China is trying all this time is to get America expose her defense capability. China wants to see if she can win against the US, at least on her Pacific rim in short term.

For the world to see China as she is, the West will have to wait for her boldest move. China is a big part in the NWO who does not want to fit in and will have to be broken apart when the time comes.

The US is seen making bush fires everywhere but those are only controlled burning. The real forest fire is yet to come, folks.

No one has mentioned it anywhere that I have seen, but North Korea does pose a credible threat.

Remember the photo of Kim in the war room that circulated a couple of weeks ago? There was a map of the US on the wall showing three targets: DC, SoCal, and Austin/Dallas. Why Target Texas? Just a grudge against the Bushes?

Guess what. The US electrical grid is divided into three "independent" grids. Texas, West, and East. NK knows that three high altitude EMPs can put is back into the 18th century in seconds. If you want to shut the lights off in North America, you need a separate device for Texas.

It is pretty sobering to realize that NK may actually know what they are doing.

An insane psychopath (the usa/west) waving a big club can jerk on a rabid junk yard dogs (n. korea) chain for only so long until eventually that rabid dog will swing around and get a good bite down on the psychopath jerking it's chain, even if it knows it will be clubbed in the process.

N. Korea's actions so far is just another move on the grand chess board....if they can provoke "someone" to make the first strike, through a treaty, China is obliged to defend N. Korea if N. Korea takes a first strike.

This is a very serious situation as the psychopaths are already talking about a preemptive strike being on the table against N. Korea. It's also silly to think that Russia will just sit around and watch the bombs fly if things spiral in to a full out exchange of missiles etc. .......but odds are Russia will back N. Korea. (and China).

Another thought, N. Korea has been stockpiling weapons for approx. 60 years, odds are they can do some damage, especially to bordering or other farther away countries within their range/reach. To think N. Korea can be shut down like swatting a fly is a mistake IMO.

I am also about sure there is more to this than meets the eye and ear......it's changing the dynamics so to speak for the west to trample through Syria and in to Iran.....The west may be scratching their heads right now.

I just got a new message from the defcon warning system. Please read below. What we might want to heed is the following excerpt.
While there is no demonstrable threat to the United States itself, any war in Korea does have the potential to become a limited nuclear conflict.

We repeat:

*** There is no credible threat to the United States ***However, any nuclear conflict will significantly affect public perception, and may cause a run on supplies. Additionally, fallout from any nuclear detonation will reach the U.S. mainland within a couple days if less, depending on winds.

Here is the entire e-mail:

Based on recent events, the DEFCON Warning System advises the public to consider preparing for possible war in the Korean theatre.

While there is no demonstrable threat to the United States itself, any war in Korea does have the potential to become a limited nuclear conflict.

We repeat:

*** There is no credible threat to the United States ***

However, any nuclear conflict will significantly affect public perception, and may cause a run on supplies. Additionally, fallout from any nuclear detonation will reach the U.S. mainland within a couple days if less, depending on winds.

Based on the type of nuclear weapons that will likely be used in any conflict, radiation reaching the U.S. will probably be minimal and cause no significant health hazard. Nevertheless, proper precautions are always advised.

We wish to emphasis that this is merely a precautionary advisory considering a "worst-case" scenario which may not and probably will not happen. At this time, there have been no troop movements by North Korea which would indicate preparations for an attack.

We repeat:

*** There are no indications that North Korea is preparing for an attack ***

We are issuing this advisory due to the heightened possibility of miscalculation or misinterpretation which could spark an accidental/unintentional conflict.

We remain at DEFCON 4: Blue. There is no change to the DEFCON status at this time.

Nobody is *really* like their father.

NK bluster has been well documented.

Could be the same ... or not.

Another factor is various sorts of influences (natural or otherwise) on the mind.

When you have *one* person in charge of *everything* (including nuclear technology) then there is a possible problem.

Yes???

Whether from energetics from the "galactic rift" or the lowering of the magnetosphere ... these things have an effect on most all of us.

So ... many wildcards here.

Keep in mind there are *allegedly* not only human based space platforms that can shoot down missiles dramatically more accurately than earth bound missile defense ... but the "keepers" are not going to allow things to go that far ...

Not sure about conventional weaponry as so very many lives are at risk in the "kill zone" of the area.

Be on the alert for a false flag here.

If a submarine popped up off the California coast and shot a couple of nuclear tipped missiles at the USA, I'll wager (1) it will be blamed on North Korea, (2) it wouldn't really have been North Korea doing it, and (3) North Korea will be devastated (even more than whatever the missiles from that sub caused).

What this would do for relations between USA, China and Russia is not clear to me. But I doubt I'd like the results, whatever they were.

It is a statement of support from the people and perhaps a warning to the South that the North will not fold under their attack. But not a declaration of war from Kim Jung Un.
There is a campaign of propaganda underway this week in Korea and I will show you that this latest crisis is nothing more than a continuation of that warmongering effort."

North Korea is on the **** list of the Anglo American axis of evil. There is only one deterrent to attack and that is nuclear, unfortunately. The U.S. has taught every small nation on earth that the only thing that will keep them absolutely safe from invasion is nuclear weapons. Korea had to develop them as it can no longer credibly state that China and Russia will protect them. The major powers have too much to lose and everyone knows it.

The best deterrent to attack is to have nukes and leaders who appear, emphasis on appear to be slightly unglued. Perfect. They will never launch, nor will the U.S. and the world is now slightly safer.

My thoughts Dennis (and others)

If this is all a bunch of baloney about N. Korea, well, I would then suggest we may be possibly witnessing the beginnings of a gigantic false flag about to happen.

The rule of opposites must apply also to this current narrative:

As it stands now the propaganda machine (the narrative) has much of the world in shock and in fear that N. Korea is about to nuke the US and all it's neighbors....pretty serious stuff huh????

A great moment for the psychopaths to stage something really huge (likely nuclear), blaming NKorea, that'll justify them to turn N. Korea into a sea of glass w/nuclear weapons, eliminating the "threat" and getting their regime change that they always wanted, hence, making it easier to convince the world Iran must be stopped immediately also, telling the world that we don't want to see Iran do what NKorea did.

I'm just thinking out loud, (speculating) but I wouldn't put it past these psychopathic war junkies to do something like this.....

Does anyone remember the 21st December 2012..?

Here's the latest from the Australian Press

5/4/2013

ON THE BRINK: 'Missile attack on US would be suicidal'

Former US UN envoy says any missile launch by North Korea would be 'suicide'

Communication intercepts reveal plans to launch missile
Missile components 'being moved to North Korean coast'
Speculation launch is 'test' to mark North Korean holiday

A NORTH Korean attack on the United States would be "suicidal", a former United States ambassador to the United Nations has declared.

Former diplomat Bill Richardson said there had been a lot of heated talk from all sides.

"There's been a lot of rhetoric and not a lot of action ... but I think our response has been appropriate: Cool, calm and at the same time putting our military resources ready in case there's an emergency," Mr Richardson said.

"But if they try anything with the United States, it's suicidal. That's not going to happen."

Richardson sparked controversy when he joined Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt in a visit to North Korea earlier this year.

He today once again emphasised the need for careful diplomacy.

http://resources0.news.com.au/images/2013/04/05/1226613/056908-bill-richardson.jpg
Former UN ambassador Bill Richardson smiles as he responds to the media at Beijing International airport in Beijing on January 7, 2013, before his trip to North Korea.
.
"Something is needed to cool things down. I think there has to be an end game to the administration's policy, and the end game in my view is diplomacy some kind of special envoy, some kind of South Korean diplomat."

The comments come as intercepted military communications indicate North Korea could be planning to launch a missile spotted being moved by train yesterday.

CNN has reported a United States official as saying the communications revealed the launch was planned for the coming days.

The US is reportedly seeking the location of a secret North Korean launch facility or hidden launch vehicles on the nation's east coast. The location is of particular concern as any launch would likely go over the coast of Japan.

The revelation comes after South Korean officials yesterday said a medium-range "Musudan" missile had been spotted being loaded on to a train and transported towards the coast of the Sea of Japan.

http://resources1.news.com.au/images/2013/04/05/1226612/937605-launcher.jpg
A file photo, a North Korean vehicle carrying a Musudan missile passes by during a mass military parade in Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung Square to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the late North Korean founder Kim Il Sung.
.
The Yonhap news agency reported speculation that the missile may be "test fired" on April 15, the birthday of the nation's founder Kim Il-sung.

The range of the "Musudan" is unclear, but some analysts have placed it at up to 4000km - enough to reach bases in Japan and the United States controlled island of Guam.

South Korea's defense minister said that the missile was not capable of reaching the United States and that there are no signs that the North is preparing for a full-scale conflict.

North Korea has been railing against US-South Korean military exercises that began in March and are to continue until the end of this month. The allies insist the exercises in South Korea are routine, but the North calls them rehearsals for an invasion and says it needs nuclear weapons to defend itself. The North has also expressed anger over tightened UN sanctions for its February nuclear test.

Analysts say the ominous warnings in recent weeks are probably efforts to provoke softer policies from South Korea, to win diplomatic talks with Washington and solidify the image of young North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Many of the threats come in the middle of the night in Asia - daytime for the US audience.

The report of the movement of the missile came hours after North Korea's military warned that it had been granted approval to attack the US using "smaller, lighter and diversified" nuclear weapons. The reference to smaller weapons could be a claim that North Korea has improved its nuclear technology, or a bluff.

The North is not believed to have mastered the technology needed to miniaturize nuclear bombs enough to mount them on long-range missiles. Nor has it demonstrated that those missiles, if it has them at all, are accurate. It also could be years before the country completes the laborious process of creating enough weaponized fuel to back up its nuclear threats.

South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin said he did not know the reasons behind the North's missile movement, and that it "could be for testing or drills."

He dismissed reports in Japanese media that the missile could be a KN-08, which is believed to be a long-range missile that if operable could hit the United States.

Kim told lawmakers at a parliamentary committee meeting that the missile has "considerable range" but not enough to hit the US mainland.

The Pentagon announced that it will hasten the deployment of a missile defense system to the US Pacific territory of Guam to strengthen regional protection against a possible attack.

Experts say North Korea has not shown that it has accurate long-range missiles. Some suspect that an apparent long-range missile unveiled by the North at a parade last year was actually a mockup.

.
"From what we know of its existing inventory, North Korea has short- and medium-range missiles that could complicate a situation on the Korean Peninsula (and perhaps reach Japan), but we have not seen any evidence that it has long-range missiles that could strike the continental US, Guam or Hawaii," James Hardy, Asia Pacific editor of IHS Jane's Defence Weekly, wrote in a recent analysis.

Kim, the South Korean defense minister, said that if North Korea were preparing for a full-scale conflict, there would be signs such as the mobilization of a number of units, including supply and rear troops, but South Korean military officials have found no such preparations.

"(North Korea's recent threats) are rhetorical threats. I believe the odds of a full-scale provocation are small," he said. But he added that North Korea might mount a small-scale provocation such as its 2010 shelling of a South Korean island, an attack that killed four people.
.
At times, North Korea has gone beyond rhetoric.

On Tuesday, it announced it would restart a plutonium reactor it had shut down in 2007. A US research institute said Wednesday that satellite imagery shows that construction needed for the restart has already begun.

For a second day yesterday, North Korean border authorities denied entry to South Koreans who manage jointly run factories in the North Korean city of Kaesong. South Koreans already at the plant were being allowed to return home.

South Korea has prepared a military contingency plan should North Korea hold South Korean workers hostage in Kaesong, Defense Minister Kim said. He wouldn't elaborate.

Outraged over comments in the South about possible hostage-taking and a military response from Seoul, a North Korean government-run committee threatened to pull North Korean workers out of Kaesong as well.

In Monaco, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said he was "very much disappointed and concerned" by the North's move to restrict access by South Korean personnel and goods into Kaesong's industrial complex and called for the measure to be lifted as soon as possible.

North Korea's military statement yesterday, from an unidentified spokesman from the General Bureau of the Korean People's Army, said its troops had been authorized to counter U.S. "aggression" with "powerful practical military counteractions," including nuclear weapons.

It said America's "hostile policy" and "nuclear threat" against North Korea "will be smashed by the strong will of all the united service personnel and people and cutting-edge smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear strike means."

US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Washington is doing all it can to defuse the situation.

"Some of the actions they've taken over the last few weeks present a real and clear danger and threat" to the US and its allies, Hagel said Wednesday.

White House spokesman Jay Carney has called on Russia and China, two countries he said have influence on North Korea, to use that influence to persuade the North to change course.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich has criticised a move by the North Korean parliament this week to declare the country in effect a nuclear weapons state.

"It's categorically unacceptable to see such defiant neglect by Pyongyang of UN Security Council resolutions and fundamental regulations in the area of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction," he said.

South Korea's Defense Ministry said its military is ready to deal with any provocation by North Korea. "I can say we have no problem in crisis management," deputy ministry spokesman Wee Yong-sub told reporters.

The 11-day US-South Korean joint military drills in March involved 10,000 South Korean and about 3000 US troops, incorporating fighter jets and nuclear-capable stealth bombers. Those coincided with two months of separate US-South Korean field exercises that began March 1.

On Sunday, Kim Jong Un led a high-level meeting of party officials who declared building the economy and "nuclear armed forces" as the nation's priorities.

North Korea is believed to be working toward building an atomic bomb small enough to mount on a long-range missile. Long-range rocket launches designed to send satellites into space in 2009 and 2012 were widely considered covert tests of missile technology, and North Korea has conducted three underground nuclear tests.

"I don't believe North Korea has the capacity to attack the United States with nuclear weapons mounted on missiles, and won't for many years. Its ability to target and strike South Korea is also very limited," nuclear scientist Siegfried Hecker, a senior fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University, said this week.

In comments posted on CISAC's website, Hecker said North Korea knows a nuclear attack would be met with "a devastating nuclear response."

Hecker has estimated that North Korea has enough plutonium to make several crude nuclear bombs. Its announcement Tuesday that it would restart a plutonium reactor indicated that it intends to produce more nuclear weapons material.

The US-Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies has examined recent commercial satellite imagery of the Nyongbyon nuclear facility, where the reactor was shut down in 2007 under the terms of a disarmament agreement. A cooling tower for the reactor was destroyed in 2008.

The analysis published on the institute's website, 38 North, says that rebuilding the tower would take six months, but a March 27 photo shows building work may have started for an alternative cooling system that could take just weeks. Experts estimate it could take three months to a year to restart the plant.

UFO'S they have not stopped it before.

If it happens then we should realise that there is another learning path we undertake from the moment the decision is made to tempt this world into more chaos.

actually the first nuke was used by germans in october 1944 to stop the russian advance while they were evacuating german people to safety from baltic states. after scientists told hitler about the effect on dna and the long term damage to the environment he decided that nukes would never be used again on european soil.

after the german nukes the usa used to bomb hiroshima and nagasaki they continued to develop more and a lot of so-called tests were actually attempts to destroy hidden german (reichsdeutsche) bases, such as those in antarctica in aug/sep 1958 which created the ozone hole there. i guess at the time they didn't know that the reich not only has bases in our time but also in the past and future which they access through time portals that are in many places all over the world (you hear about that sometimes where people or ships or aircraft disappear). since that time they seem to have developed the technology to disable nukes and use it on those that threaten europe, following the führer's orders, or so one would hope.

anyway, as regards north korea, i don't think that they'd ever use nukes except as a last resort because of some foul play from tptb. their leaders can't be as stupid to think they'd survive the retaliation to such an attack. if kim jong un loves his country and his people he'd never allow korea to be wiped out, which it would if he started a nuclear war. no, if nukes are used on the usa they'll be part of a false flag op to create a reason to attack north korea.

Either way these could just as easily (or more likely to be) high tech man made very advanced spy crafts doing tests with advanced technology.

If they use nuclear devices, it's game over in a flash. So, that's not very profitable for the controllers...

Well, then, what's the automatic Modus Operandi of the controllers?

Like in WW I and II, Korea, Indochina, Vietnam, etc... they need a protracted ground war where they can sell lots of weapons and ammunitions while at the same time getting rid of young males and females as a factor of depopulation, etc...

But that leaves out big pharma, so, I guess that there will be some biological WMD scares to jump up vaccines and the rest of their paraphernalia...

So, now that Iraq and Afghanistan are slowly dying out... and unless they want Iran to shut down the Hormuz straight and cut off the controllers-owned oil world wide, what do you think is in the cards for the Koreas?

Here's another documentry worth watching about North Korea.
http://www.vice.com/the-vice-guide-to-travel/vice-guide-to-north-korea-1-of-3

Getting into North Korea was one of the hardest and weirdest processes VICE has ever dealt with. After we went back and forth with their representatives for months, they finally said they were going to allow 16 journalists into the country to cover the Arirang Mass Games in Pyongyang. Then, ten days before we were supposed to go, they said, “No, nobody can come.” Then they said, “OK, OK, you can come. But only as tourists.” We had no idea what that was supposed to mean. They already knew we were journalists, and over there, if you get caught being a journalist when you’re supposed to be a tourist, you go to jail. We don’t like jail. And we’re willing to bet we’d hate jail in North Korea. But we went for it. The first leg of the trip was a flight into northern China. At the airport, the North Korean consulate took our passports and all of our money, then brought us to a restaurant. We were sitting there with our tour group, and suddenly all the other diners left, and these women came out and started singing North Korean nationalist songs. We were thinking, Look, we were just on a plane for 20 hours. We’re jet-lagged. Can we just go to bed? but this guy with our group, who was from the LA Times, told us, “Everyone in here besides us is secret police. If you don’t act excited, then you’re not going to get your visa. So we got drunk and jumped up onstage and sang songs with the girls. The next day we got our visas. A lot of people we had gone with didn’t get theirs. That was our first hint at just what a freaky, freaky trip we were embarking on…

NGOs Claim Israeli Agent Barkan In North Korea
Tuesday, April 9th, 2013 | Posted by Veterans Today
by Selwyn Manning

[NOTE: Although this article appeared on Veterans Today on 9th April 2013 (yesterday), the dates half way through the article are a little ambiguous, as Helen Clark was our previous Prime Minister - bracketed text [] added by me. Difficult to ascertain where it jumps back to near the beginning of 2000 - 2003 era - KE]

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/04/09/ngos-claim-israeli-agent-barkan-in-north-korea/

Zev Barkan the suspected Israeli Mossad agent on the run from New Zealand Police has been sighted in North Korea, according to an Asian-based NGO closely linked to New Zealand intelligence networks.

Information provided to Scoop states Zev William Barkan turned up in Pyongyang as an Israeli security adviser in April, within weeks of fleeing from New Zealand prior to a suspected Israeli spy ring being sprung for attempting to illegally acquire a New Zealand passport.

Zev William Barkan (37), possibly a false name, also answers to the name Jay, was staying at a flat in Sandringham, Auckland City. New Zealand authorities believe he has left New Zealand. Zev Barkan remains wanted by New Zealand Police for allegedly attempting to illegally obtain a New Zealand passport. Barkan is a short, solid built, Caucasian male, has thick black hair, an American accent, said he was from Washington DC, worked for a windows and doors company, and was in New Zealand to do a sailing course. Barkan was last known to be in New Zealand March 3 to 20.

This weekend, international Non-Government-Organisations, including Global Protect All Children, have gathered for a conference in Tokyo Japan to discuss a crisis involving North Korean refugees.

Information was released at the conference suggesting Israeli agents, including Barkan, had entered into North Korea under the guise of security consultants to help North Korea build a “security wall” to keep its people in.

Overnight (New Zealand time), in an address to the conference, a senior NGO chief executive with Global-Protect All Children said: “Barkan is there (In Pyongyang) negotiating details of an extensive contract for design and technical equipment to support (a security wall) project, including- but by no means limited to – Israeli produced motion sensors and night vision equipment.”

In discussions with Scoop, the chief executive said: “Barkan flew from Beijing to Pyongyang at the end of April. He was allegedly travelling on a Canadian passport issued in the name of Kevin Hunter, which had been reported stolen at the Canadian Consulate in the Southern Chinese city of Guangzhou in mid April.”

It is believed North Korean and Israeli experts are conducting a “feasibility study” on the construction of a security fence along the 1500 KM North Korea China border. Brussels based NGO contacts attached to Human Rights Without Frontiers tipped off other NGOs to the North Korean plans.

Scoop contacts with intelligence connections in Asia, said Barkan was also connected to an Israeli security company operating out of Thailand.

On Thursday July 15, two Israeli men suspected of being involved in an Israeli intelligence passport acquiring scam were sentenced to six months imprisonment respectively in the Auckland High Court.

Uriel Zoshe Kelman and Eli Cara had earlier pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to illegally gain a New Zealand passport.

New Zealand High Court Judge, Justice Judith Potter, said: “It’s difficult to see why anyone would want a false New Zealand passport unless it was intended to be used in a way ancillary to some other offending.” She said: “That offending is likely to be serious or perhaps very serious.”

Cara and Kelman, were also ordered to pay a combined NZ $100,000 to a cerebral palsy charity.

The two men were suspected of being aligned to a Mossad ring seeking to illegally obtain a New Zealand passport for a third man, know as Zev Barkan. Barkan had fled the country prior to a police sting in March that ended in the arrest of Kelman and Cara as they tried to collect a passport in the name of a wheelchair-bound cerebral palsy victim.

After the sentencing, [the then] New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark said there were very strong reasons to believe that the two Israelis convicted on charges relating to a fraudulent attempt to obtain a New Zealand passport were acting on behalf of Israel’s intelligence services.

“Israel is a country with which New Zealand has long had friendly relations. The New Zealand government views the act carried out by the Israeli intelligence agents as not only utterly unacceptable but also a breach of New Zealand sovereignty and international law. The Israeli agents attempted to demean the integrity of the New Zealand passport system and could have created considerable difficulties for New Zealanders presenting their passports overseas in future,” Helen Clark said.

She added: “New Zealand condemns without reservation these actions by agencies of the Israel government. The Israel government was asked for an explanation and an apology three months ago. Neither has been received.”

As a result, New Zealand moved to sever ties with Israel.

The move included:
• New Zealand suspending high-level visits from and to Israel;
• Any approach by Israel for its head of state, President Katsov, to visit New Zealand in August, in association with a proposed visit to Australia, to be declined;
• Israelis visiting New Zealand in any official government capacity will be required to apply for visas;
• Foreign Ministry consultations with Israel, due later this year, will be suspended;
• Approval for appointment of the new Israeli ambassador will be delayed and accreditation visits to Israel suspended meantime;
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade officials, and Ministers, will observe strict constraints on contact with Israel’s honorary consuls.

“As will be apparent from these steps, the breach of New Zealand laws and sovereignty by agents of the Israeli government has seriously strained our relationship with Israel,” Helen Clark said.

Police found that Kelman, Cara and another two individuals had been operating in Auckland since November 2003. Cara had traveled in and out of New Zealand 24 times since October 2000.

I just watched Red Dawn over the weekend. It was filmed in 2008 and originally was supposed to be China that attacked the USA. But in 2010 the studio decided to make it be North Korea so they could keep the Chinese box office. The film depicts the North Korean's invading Spokane, Washington. That is on the West Coast of the USA, which makes more sense if the USA was attacked by either North Korea or China. Anyway, here is the Wiki link on the film.

By the way, I agree that this was a propaganda film just like Olympus Has Fallen.

Let it be known that Iran can barely hit Israel in missile tech, and NK is pretty much restricted to SK and japan as far as their tech goes. Maybe less if the last few tests have been any indication. As soon as you see "attacks" that seem somewhat unbelievable, or suddenly some "rogue" nation has these superior missiles that can go hundreds of thousands of miles and accurately hit a target, be suspicious of lies.

Just like a couple of "Arab" punks with box cutters and failed 5 seater aircraft trainings, suddenly became expert masterminds, and extreme pilots with abilities few if any humans could ever pull off no matter their training. Look for these types of discrepancies. There you will find false flags.
