Sorry if it was posted already, but I am eager to understand how do you read it!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2013/03/07/ns-ufo-investigation.html

I personally accept it as a mild (tender) disclosure.
Here are some thoughts:
- saying this confirms UFO exist
- "no longer" means it was investigation before
- in normal investigations scientists and/or military are involved and stopping investigations means they know enough so far - UFOs are either not understandable at all, or pretty understandable and no reason for comments.
- volunteers will collect (no problem!) information and pictures from now on for them.

What do you think?

Best wishes

It sounded to me like there are now so many sightings > 900 in 2011 that they just can't keep up with investigating them all and will just look into the more compelling cases. That's how I interpreted it anyway.

Its like shutting down SETI - why search for something when you know its there already ?

I suspect the only reason to keep running any programs like this is when there are still ways to siphon off money from them to use for assorted elite naughtiness.

Thanks Lyubocanada to share this information, I would think that the Canadian Governement conceded that they don't have the technologies to do anything about it.

And Heads of Government all over the World have surely had important discrete discussions on the matter and the problem (if it is one?) have been given to the Nations who can handle it, like the US, maybe some European Nations and to a certain degree China and Russia.
