DARK LAKE
Tonight I will take
My daugther to the shore.
As she hugs a teddy bear,
I will leave her alone.
I'll watch how she dives
Into a dark, deep lake
Followed by scary creatures
Swimming around her.
Powerless I'll wait
Sitting on the bed,
For the morning to come
And her to awake.
